It's about getting in the mix people, seeing the lovely, beloved, charming waitresses, drinking delicious coffee from proper thick, diner mugs, perusing local ads on the plastic-coated placemats. Come on, get in the groove friends! I've enjoyed eggs, toast, home fries, and omelettes here. I recommend their fluffy, generous pancakes, but keep your shirt on--you're not getting real maple syrup. Embrace the scene folks. Yes, everyone knows their prices are unbelievable, and frankly, I don't know how they do it. Let me tell you this, today, for the first time, I used the restroom. It's in the back--through the kitchen! I passed a cast iron tray of crusty, golden corn muffins and a deep, brimming, bread pan of equally golden, blessedly crusty and lumpy cornbread. The cook and assistant were at the oven and grill. Listen, I've cooked in some very good professionals kitchens, and what I saw pleased me. You are getting real food. Next time I'm having that cornbread. You should too.

I got an egg combo, the food and it came out quickly, but was very basic. The food lacked any real flavor or excitement, just eggs with a slice or two of American cheese melted over the top. Definitely not impressive, especially for the price, I'd probably try a different spot next time.
