Hostess welcomed us and sat us right away as well as gave us menus. The waitress was super quick and the food came out at a reasonable time. The food was filling and appetizing.

My sister had an appointment at Huron Valley/Sinai, and we were both hungry afterwards, so I looked for a restaurant nearby. Village Grill was 5 minutes away, so we went there. I ordered the fish and mac & cheese special. It came with soup or salad, 2 large pieces of fish, and a large portion of mac & cheese. I really liked the salad. It came in a cute little bowl, and everything was chopped and arranged neatly. The fish was perectly fried and not too greasy, and the mac and cheese was good as well. I took half of everything home. My sister had the Michigan salad wrap sandwich. That also looked really good -- turkey, lettuce, strawberries & I don't know what else inside a wrap. It came with homemade chips, but she said some of them were soggy. All in all, a good option.

Tasty chili then the main course- a huge amount of great lasagna, tasty!

Nice place, local hangout, many Italian and Greek dishes, we found a lot to choose from. We got there early- before 5pm and there was a line after about 45 minutes. I was surprised by the large number of booths available , and the fastest moving servers that I've seen in awhile! They got our food to us quickly and checked in several times. A good selection of sides so we got to customize our meals: fries, salads, chili. My husband had a mountain of Lasagna and I had Chicken Alfredo; both were good- he ate the whole thing! The clean plate club! Good choice for groups too, seemed like most everyone had been there often. The carrot cake was listed as a favorite... we didn't have room... but it sounds good!

The upgraded greek salad.... Definitely not worth $4.19 upgrade.

Arrived at 2:30 PM and were immediately seated in a roomy booth by Jess B. The atmosphere is well appointed; however, the industrial ceiling may cause hearing issues when the area is filled. Jess advised us of the luncheon specials and brought our beverages immediately after we ordered them (diet soda $3.95). The menu is extensive and can be modified to fit customers taste. Wife ordered Harvest Sacchetti Pasta, without the Carmalized onions or wild blend nushrooms ($24.00). I ordered the Pit smoked brisket with glazed carrots and cheesy hash ($24.00). Food was served in a timely fashion. Very nice presentation (as shown on the website menu), ample serving size, correct temperature and as ordered. Jess was attentive without hovering. Drinks were refilled, satisfaction was verified, box was provided to take home. Bill was presented, correctly listed and easy to read. Asked Jess about weekend reservations and was informed that Saturdays are usually full. Look forward to returning.

Wish the BG bowl didn't have rice mixed with the farro. Ordered the crab Rangoon, calamari with the sweet chili sauce on the side, Caesar salad with blackened salmon, no croutons, BG bowl and a side BG salad less pecans and cherries. $86.82 Their house bread is not warm, it reminds me of an airy focaccia. Their sun-dried tomato oil dip is quite delicious. The calamari is okay, a lot of tentacles than the rings, more zucchini filler than I would expect, not enough calamari rings. Left all of the small tentacles for my hubby, not for me. The crab Rangoon pouches are creamy. The Hawaiian chili sauce isn't my jam, it's not for me. Didn't work for the calamari or the crab Rangoon. The salmon on the Caesar was medium cooked or medium to well. It had to go back to the kitchen to get fully cooked. The Caesar salad was ok, although it had croutons, which we asked to not get any. The waitress and the manager both walked by and asked my husband if everything was ok. My husband nodded and said it's ok. Guess my opinion didn't matter? My waitress attempted to take my salad away from me twice before I was done with it. The BG bowl reminds me of a teriyaki sauce so much. We did have to ask for a couple of our drink refills or put our glasses at the end of the table to get our waitresses or others attention.

I arrived early to sample their Happy Hour where I got a Tommy Margarita which was one of four cocktail choices on the Happy Hour menu where the other choices are an Old Fashion, Lemon Drop Martini and a Black Manhattan. All of which I personally am a fan of. Relative to my Margarita, it was very well made with 2 full ounces of Blanco Tequila as the base and quite tasty. Definately a drink with a kick and not a watered down version you get at most other bars in the area. At $8 it's a pretty good deal in my opinion especially for a drink of this quality. Relative to Dinner my wife got the White Fish dinner and I got the Milanese Chicken. Both dishes were excellent where they were cooked to perfection and were delicious. Prices on the menu were a tad high in my opinion but the old adage that you get what you pay for applies here and is definately worth the cost in my opinion. Appetizer was the Calamari which was well made and quite tasty in its own right. Relative to staff and facility, the facility is very classy with a nice contemporary flair to it, Definately an upscale feel to it where both the bar and the dining area offer an elevated dining/drinking experience. Staff was super friendly with great follow up where the bar can be a tad slower as only one bartender was working while I was there but he did a fairly good job of keeping up with the orders and high marks for his efficiency. Overall a great classy restaurant with a nice Happy Hour makes this a destination restaurant worth the trip if you live outside this area. For discerning customers who prize Quality in what they eat and drink this is a business not to be missed!

The place is huge: dining rooms, private room, large bar area with many TVs, a stage and dance floor area, plus an outdoor patio which is enclosed for all year round use. It is usually very busy and therefore very loud especially in the bar/TV area. The menu has lots of options including for restricted diet which I appreciate being gluten free. The portions are large, you get your money's worth, even if the food itself is not super imaginative. The salads are my favorite, and are large enough to share. The Chop salad with steak and shrimp is very filling. The Greek with chicken actually comes with a good amount of toppings, not just a single beet or pepperoncini pepper on top. The service is always great and staff is friendly and accommodating. Splitting bills even for a large group is not an issue. If you're there on a weekend night for the live music, the dance floor area can get packed. The crowd and vibe depends on which band and music genre is playing. Overall it's usually a good night out, not a lot of places where you can get dinner and dance in the same location.

I asked for his opinion on his breakfast and he said "fine" - the eggs were cooked over-easy like he wanted and he was able to swap out something in his breakfast combo for a pancake. I am glad I asked for the bacon well done cuz it still was not really as well done as I would have preferred but not do much so to send it back. I just don't like wiggly fatty bacon so I just didn't eat a few bites that were like that...but for the most part, it was completely fried 100%. The hashbrowns tasted good but I did have to add some salt and pepper - no problem, it's easier to add than for it to have too much added by the chef. What I don't know is what the hashbrowns was cooked in cuz I kept burping the hashbrowns for hours afterwards. It was a very odd aftertaste and I chewed Tums a few times that morning and early afternoon. I would hesitate to come back again unless I got something that was baked or a fresh salad.

The dishes were bland and lacked any discernible flavor. Our waitress, a young woman, was exceptionally poor. She neglected to check on us throughout the meal, failed to refill our drinks, and I had to personally request the bill. Another server eventually brought it out and our original waitress didn't even attempt to cash it out. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing and unremarkable. So, we asked Maddy our waitress for some patience .. and she was stellar. She gave recommendations, was knowledgeable on the menu, and had a great attitude overall. We ordered several different things to share with each other... For appetizers, we had potstickers, calamari, and some crab cakes. The potstickers were crisped up well, but tasted pretty standard. The crab cakes were thick, meaty, and tasted good. I like mine a bit more crisped and crunchy, but everyone has their style. They were good. Lastly, what really did it for me, was the calamari. Capers, lemon, seafood..... it was cooked perfectly. It did not have the rubbery bite like most places. It was hot, and still had a good bite to it. One of the best calamari apps, i have probably ever had. Entrees... I had the firecracker chicken pasta and a wedge salad. The wedge was... interesting. It came out with the standard lettuce wedge, but all of the toppings were on the side. Slices of onion and tomato, two full pieces of bacon, and an egg. I am typically accustomed to having everything chopped and on the salad.. so i had to cut everything up at the table. It wasnt bad, just odd. BOOM! FIRECRACKER Chicken Pasta. Dried cherries, sun dried tomatoes, asparagus, spicy pasta sauce.... man.... this was delicious. It was actually so good, I contemplated on getting one to go for my fiancé to eat. This was a home run entree. Compliments to whomever had the idea. Desserts Of course, nothing wraps up a bro dinner like sharing a few desserts... We had the tiramisu and the churro cake. The tiramisu was cold, coffee, creamy, delicious. The churro cake was a perfect contrast in warm cinnamon, savory, sponge.... they were both great options. Maddy did an excellent job. The kitchen did an amazing job. It was a great experience for this out of towner.
