    Leo's Famous Greek Salad

Hot and delicious food. Fast, friendly service and reasonable prices. I had the chicken fingers pita with Swiss & American cheese, diced tomatoes and lettuce with ranch dressing on the side. A+

    Mustard stain on plate

0/10 there was a mustard stain on our plates:/ I don't recommend there's also possibly mold on the ceiling. If there was a zero star option I would choose that

This review is long overdue. I have a lot of memories at this restaurant from middle school to high school and now in to my adult life. Michelle and the other veteran wait Staff are amazing. They know the business inside and out. Sometimes you will see the occasional new faces in today's work climate but they always work as a team. I've seen some other reviews about the food and it is a true Michigan Coney Island, not a Michelin star restaurant so the Karen's talking about bad food clearly need to call their doctors for some taste bud checks. They are also pet friendly not only to their staff but I have brought my dog in many times. The menu is comprehensive with much to choose from, but after many years my go to will be the chicken lemon rice soup, Caesar wrap, and fries. Everyone loves the chicken finger pita, but not my style. (Not bad though) In conclusion, this restaurant goes above five stars in my books, this past Summer the power went out while I was eating, and they took care of all our bills and were so apologetic for something they can't control.

I ordered a western burger with large fry, but removed the corned beef. The burger itself was delicious, the patties were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. They were quite juicy and melted in the mouth. The brioche bun was as expected, although it did get a little bit, soggy due to the generous amounts of sweet/sugary Kansas City style barbecue sauce, which was also delicious. The onion ring that was part of the burger was crispy on the outside and not too mushy on the inside just how it should be. Next time I'll add bacon and some jalapeños to the burger to balance the sweet barbecue sauce. The french fries were delicious, crispy exterior with soft, fluffy interior and just the right amount of salt. Although I did not order seasoned fries, I was very happy with the regular unseasoned one. I can imagine that the seasoned fries would be even better. Overall a great burger and excellent fries, I would recommend this to others.

Good thing I came when I came, because it got busy as hell shortly after. I went with 2 coney dogs and a Vernors. The dogs were delicious! Messy as hell, but absolutely delicious. They come loaded with a ton of chili, onions, and mustard on a super duper soft steamed bun. The dog had a great snap to it and the simple ingredients just worked! My Vernors ginger ale soda was great, too! Never had one before. Really liked it though. Had a hint of vanilla, and was sweeter than other gingers ales I have had. I loved it! It was the perfect beverage to wash down my dogs. Service was quick and to the point. This is the type of place where you eat and get the fuck out. No lingering around talking afterwards lol. The Coney dog ($4) was ordered. It had the classic toppings of bean less chili, yellow mustard, and raw chopped white onions. This was solid. There was a nice bite on the chili with plenty of mustard and onions. The bread was soft and the hot dog was cooked appropriately. The chili was the key as it was hearty and meaty. Will I go back? Yeah, sure.

On this most recent visit, I ended up getting a Gyro sandwich with a side of fries and overall was fairly pleased with the meal. The Gyro was a good sandwich, but definitely falls a tad short of some of the restaurants in the area who specialize in Greek food an offer a more flavorful and better seasoned sandwich. Having said that. this was still a fairly good Gyro well that was well-made and tasty. The accompany fries were very good with a nice crunchy texture and very flavorful. Definitely the star of my meal. The restaurant continues to be well maintained with a bright clean interior and a very casual comfortable vibe overall. Staff was super friendly with great follow up and continues to be a strength of this business from my perspective. Overall, a very solid restaurant choice in the area that has a nice variety of food options with a side specialty of Greek food.
