This was my first time ever at a Waffle House location! I usually don't go to diners but decided to give here a try as it was close by. The servers were nice and were really lively! I ordered 2 waffle one with chocolate and a peanut butter. The waffles were nice and fluffy but the topping was just ok. We sat at the bar stools and one thing I didn't like was they were washing right next to us so I kept smelling soap while I was trying to eat. read more

This was the second Waffle House I went to in 2 days and I like the previous one I went to more. I was almost finished with my breakfast by the time the brought me my waffle and the mood there wasnt as good as the other. Not just because of the people that worked there but because everyone that was there. My waffle looked like it wasnt done all the way. Oh well I love me some waffle house. read more

Food was so good, service was amazing and really fast, are server sadie was amazing, she was nice, funny and really entertaining, my family and I were here on vacation but will be come back soon, the ambiance was calm and not to loud, everyone was talking but it wasn't too loud it was just right, to the point were you could hear ur self, it was clean, and not dirty, bathroom was clean too, good Waffle House, a 10/10! read more

If you know what to expect from Waffle House you will never be disappointed. This place is a weekend staple in our home. The tables are clean, the waitresses are straight the point, Our drinks stay filled (1 sprite 1 coffee) and they're quick wit makes our kids like them even more. No lie, we've had everything on the menu but my favorite is the breakfast sandwich (extra pickle!) and peanut butter waffle, hash browns extra crispy! Thank me later! read more

if you have an obscenely bad experience at a waffle house, it's because your heart is impure and your vibes are bad. got the all-american whatever, with hashbrowns capped & country, and did the upcharge for the birthday waffle. crazy good, got the food super quick, they were very nice, and i got out of there for under $20 including tip. probably wouldn't get the birthday cake waffle again but that's just because i think the normal waffle would probably be better, lol. read more

Always a great place to eat, I love the Texas Cheesesteak melt, the Texas bacon egg and cheese melt with hash-browns also the waffles are amazing too!! My first time ever eating at a waffle house! I have to say it was delicious. Cheap and easy. Great place for a midnight breakfast. My eggs were a little bit over cooked but for the price and ther service here can not beat it! Teo guys that were working had everything on point (beside my eggs) but I'm not gonna deduct anything cause these guys were busy and had smiles on there face! Check this place out for yourself! This is what i was charged for. Smh. The prices change when its a to go order making it more expensive. To include a tip but this do not deserve a tip. I will jot be back. The cook is a girl who looks like she never cooks and was just tired the place is dry. No music. No happy faces. And the food nasty. A couple i saw in there did not even finish the food. It's my personal philosophy to go to a Waffle House every time I'm near one. I was stunned to see one (actually, several!) plopped in Mesa. I visited this location with my sister and brother and it was a fun way to kick off our first full day in town. I ordered the two egg breakfast with a waffle. It was delicious and only revitalized my love of Waffle House. My sibs were also in agreement that their food was good. We left happy and full--a Waffle House success. read more

So 1st things 1st, deposit. The food was just fine. I don't know why I'm addicted to the scrambled eggs with sausage and cheese in it, but I'd like to keep in hood and that's just what it did did. That said, what I don't like to keep hood is the level of service. My experience at this waffle house was not great, actually not even close to great. I learned all about the employees frustrations however, and just how discredible they are with their management.. I heard complaints about everything from the way that somebody does the dishes to the way they spray painted the windows for the holidays. It was a very uncomfortable setting, and I will not be returning. I got my Coke with my meal, which I thought was rather odd perhaps until policy though, to save product product or something. The staff was friendly enough when dealing directly with the customer, such as myself. But again it was just really uncomfortable. I really think if the attitudes change a little bit in general, comma and don't get me wrong some had good attitudes good attitudes, but it wasn't throughout. Anyway, if there were more positive attitudes throughout the staff, I can assure you I and many others would be returning. I feel like this place is seriously declined over over last 12 months. read more

I was a regular but quit going in 2022. Staff would close half the seats and turn away customers so they wouldn't have to rush. It's insulting to be turned away after driving seven miles, when half the seats are vacant. Waffle House never disappoints because expectations are so low. read more

Terrible. We paid $24 for a two egg omelette with some bacon and some diced tomatoes and nothing else on the plate, and then another plate that had two scrambled eggs a couple of pieces of bacon, hashbrowns, and toast. $24. Absolutely outrageous. A limited menu that didn't have a lot to choose from other than the waffles and stuff. The service was OK. Will absolutely never go back and definitely never recommend it to anybody. read more

This waffle house is amazing!!!!!!! Every time I come in here the cooks and the servers are so fun and serve up amazing breakfast!!!!! If you have a chance sit at the bar so you can watch the lead grill cook AMBER Rock out on the grill!!!! Alyssa is an amazing server and definitely cares about her customers! This waffle house used to be quite clean. We were there quite often in the past. After the close down and for an extended period of time, we wanted to go back and have our favorite breakfasts. So disappointing. The service was alright but the grill was disgusting and not at all like it should be. The back above the grill was dripping grease and the immediate part of the back at the grill level was so scorched and black it looked terrible. The cook was not readily trying to clean anything off either place and the floor getting hosed and scrubbed seemed to be more important. I would not recommend this Waffle House if it doesn't get a good cleaning, and the sooner the better!!! read more

Absolutely loved my visit here! The restaurant gives the look and feel of old southern charm. Seating is booth or at the counter. Food was delicious, priced reasonably and large portions. Jacob knows how to fry a hash brown! And Lexi was very sweet and hospitable. Will definitely be back! read more

So I walked into this establishment and not one person out of about 6 people greeted me and say someone will be right with you. Heard a female talking to the cook and it wasn't about an order. It was about her having a flat tire. It really doesn't take but a hot second to great someone when they come into a place where you're there to make money. Needs improvement read more

No apologies... I LOVE THE WAFFLE HOUSE. This particular location is terrific as well. Outer Mesa, so it's not loaded with too many raging drunks at night. The staff are nice and friendly. The food is greasy & delicious. I live the coffee. I love the logo on the coffee mugs. I love the menus. The layout of the place. The sign. I'm all in. I worship at the temple of the WH. I am an active member in the cult of the Waffle House. I love it. When I go off the rails and abandon my healthy diet, I go straight to the Waffle House. The visit was amazing only because of Savannah. The best waitress EVER! If it wasn't for her this would be a one star review. She was funny, so much so that my stomach hurt from laughing so hard! She's very kind to the kids and so witty. She made the experience very pleasurable! They won't have her for long because she is truly meant for bigger and better things so go see her while you can! Now, for the rest of the experience. Terrible. Savannah seemed to be getting some trouble from the management even though it was her first week and the place was absolutely packed. It took a long time for our food to get to us and then the whole order wasn't ready so the kids had to wait and then the food was cold. After all that, the price was almost $40. Unbelievable. The ONLY reason I would go back is if I knew Savannah was there and she was our waitress. If not, I won't darken their doorstep again. My husband and I love Waffle House. This afternoon was our first time at this location and it was pretty busy but we were seated very fast. Our waitress was "Moo" she is so sweet very funny and was a joy to be around. She drew me a cute turkey on my receipt. It sucks because I've been going to this location since I was a child and I'm a very frequent regular that orders the same thing every-time with my lady. And it's normally the same price every-time. But since we started going at night there's a very unwelcoming host/waiter that charges us $5-6 more for our meal that's always a certain price. it made me feel very unwelcome here and only earned her no tip... read more

I've never eaten at Waffle House but we decided to head over for dinner tonight. I expected a run down, loud dirty place with mediocre food and bad service. I couldn't have been more wrong. The service was so good we tipped our waitress AND the cook $100 each, the place was extremely clean and the food was phenomenal. Ordered from Postmates tonight and am pretty disgusted. My chicken sandwich is completely raw, not slightly underdone, raw. Took an entire bite and swallowed before I realized too. Place is weird and makes me Feel so uncomfortable and they have people touching their hair and not washing their hands. Check the cameras to see what your employees are doing. It's disgusting. Not to mention you have one Lady that Just is so annoying singing is horrible And she shouldn't quit her day job. And she is being very immature especially to the customers. I haven't been to Waffle House in years.... Today my 8 year old wanted to try it out. We came in at about 11, not busy at all. Not greet, but told to sit in an area because the other section was closed. Where we were told to sit was dirty, we stood there wait for someone to clean the table. Our silverware was placed on the table with the dirty menus on top. We placed our order. The food did come out pretty fast. The food was fine. Our server Anna never asked how anything tasted. We had to ask for straws, ketchup, jelly, and hot sauce. As we were eating I did notice several employees on there phones. And one employee ran around to let the other employees know no more locked doors. And then repeatedly said b*#%+ mind your business. That was the time I decided to leave. Poor customers service and we won't be back. read more

Tried to eat here at 1:30 pm on a Sunday and way turned away because they were "closed for cleaning". The funny thing is, all but one of the employees were sitting down playing on their phones. Must be nice to be able to afford to turn customers away in the middle of the day. I won't be back because I don't want to risk the restaurant being randomly closed. read more

Not by any means up to the standards of. "Waffle House" I've been eating at Waffle House for more than 50 years....this by far is worst ever. Kitchen grills very dirty, service NONE. No good morning. Waited 5-8 mins before anyone offered me anything. Mind you 4 people behind counter and only 2 people in restaurant. Basted eggs mediocre, bacon only cooked on one side and not done had to send back. Giving credit where due!, coffee good and grits good. I usually eat at Waffle House in Apache Junction.... different as night and day. Apache Junction excellent service and friendly place. Never eat here in McKellips again. read more

It had delicious savory sausage balanced with arugula, cheddar, and smoothed out with a tomato and avocado aioli. Fantastic! Next time I will shoot for either the chilaquiles or the shakshuka. Both look fantastic. Service was quick with a smile. The food came out quickly and piping hot. I loved seeing all the accolades on the wall as well as the microbus right at the entrance. The ambience was incredible and unique and our server, Allison, was the SWEETEST person ever. We both got the happy hour welcome burger and a plate of fries to share. I cannot use the language I want to here to be able to properly express how incredible our food was so I will just say that everything was off the board amazing. Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Sad dinner and maybe she had a tough week too. But. But times 3 over.
