Went here last night no one mentioned it's TAKE OUT ONLY. We got there hoping to sit down and have a good meal. But this place is TAKE OUT ONLY. We ordered a large pie and a medium calzone. The Calzone was enormous three of us ate from it had like a pound of mozzarella and a pound of ricotta and hot a full plate of sauce to got with it. It was pretty good. The large pie we ordered was half cheese and sausage and pepperoni on the other. It was a distance from the house by the time we got home the crust was soggy. I pre heated to oven to 500 degrees put in a few slices for about 2 minutes. This is the closest to NY pizza I found in springhill it was very good I would definitely recommend. Remember to call ahead if you are picking up or you'll be waiting for a while. read more

They have great food and prices. There prices are very reasonable and the food is very good . They charge $2 for delivery and there right on time . The pizza is just like New York and they'll make it as thin as you want it. The veal cutlet sub is made with real veal not veal patties. The restaurant has a large assortment of Italian dishes, they have dinners, pizzas, and sandwiches.Everything that we have gotten here has always been very good I would suggest this restaurant to anybody. read more

The pizza here was really good. It's more of a New York style and very tasty. I took away a star because the ignorant girl who takes the orders was unbelievably rude. Had we not been starving, we would have canceled the order. Here's what happened: I was visiting a friend who has two houses- next door to each other. It's kind of like a small compound. We place a large order- several pizza's and appetizers. When we placed the order, we gave the address of house #1. After a few minutes, we decided to move our party to house #2. Remember, this is right next door. When my niece called to check if the driver had already left, she was told that he had not. She then requested that the driver please deliver to the house next door, the "order taker girl" said loudly to someone else, "They don't know what the f...k they want or where they live." My niece asked if there would be any problem with this and the ignorant "order taker" said the driver would be there shortly and abruptly hung up. I don't know who that rude person was but she has turned me off to Village Pizza. What a shame. read more

I've eaten at Village Pizza several times and it's usually petty good. But, tonight they screwed-up and they didn't handle it very well. I called-in an order of Spaghetti with meatballs, with a little EXTRA SAUCE. I also asked that my garlic sticks be nice and warm- sometimes they're not. I pick-up my order, get home and there is barley ANY SAUCE on the spaghetti! I call them back and the same woman that took my phone order and sold me the food answered. I told her I asked for EXTRA SAUCE, but instead got LESS SAUCE than normal. She found my ticket and told me "Oh, well it says LIGHT EXTRA SAUCE. The cook must have just seen the LIGHT SAUCE because the writing is kinda run together" She's the one WHO WROTE THE TICKET! She's the reason I didn't get what I wanted! So, she offers TO LET ME DRIVE BACK TO VILLAGE PIZZA (a 10 mile round trip) and she will hand me a side dish of sauce! WHILE MY SPAGHETTI AND GARLIC STICKS SIT HOME AND GET COLD!!! I tell her NO I'm not going to drive all the way back there and I ask her how is she going to fix this? She says "I'm sorry, I CAN'T." So, she doesn't offer me a refund, she doesn't offer me a credit for next time, she doesn't offer TO DO ANYTHING to fix HER SCREW-UP! I think the pizza is really good, spent my entire life in new york and def miss the pizza and delicious bagels. I think this is the closest to ny pizza, lived in tampa and st pete, and havent found that many places that come close. Have i found good pizza places , absolutly, but for my taste i like this one. I have had a couple soggy ones but 98%of the time they have been delicious, no restaurant is perfect. To avoid the soggines, i ask for it a little on the well done side. Lets face it, if you live in ny nothing is ever going to be better than the pizza place you grew up with and ordered for years, (if your lucky, i was) This is the only pizza place i order from here. Moved to Spring Hill in 2014, and once we tried Village Pizza we were hooked. Pizza is always ready when they say it'll be ready. It's always hot and fresh. They're not skimpy with their toppings, and the sauce is great. Sometimes we order the baked ziti, and it's a great deal. You can get two meals for two people from one large. It's priced reasonably as well. We've ordered salads there as well, and they're great too. Never had a bad experience, and they are ALWAYS busy, so that should tell you something. My only complaints are that they don't have a punch card (because who doesn't like free stuff ?) and there's no actual restaurant to sit down. Village pizza is definitely one of a kind. Although the staff are all sweaty, disgruntled, seemingly overtired people, and the service isn't the friendliest, the pizza is still pretty good. Definitely on the greasy side, this NY style pizza is often times a little too saucey for my liking. overall I think it's a good choice in comparison to major pizza chains like Pizza Hut or dominos found in Spring Hill, FL. Their pizza has good taste. I would recommend they use better quality ingredients. I love to cook so I pay special attention to these things. The cheese is not the best cheese but it's decent enough. My mom didn't want to get pizza here because "it looks too creepy" to which I replied: "The best pizza always comes from creepy looking places!" I was absolutely right -- this is the best pizza I've had in a looong time. And it's just as good when you reheat it at 3 AM, too, which is a very important part of the pizza for me. My only complaint is that it's SUPER greasy, even for a pizza, but you can just dab it with a paper towel like I do if that bothers you. We ordered this pizza via delivery last night. We ordered two pizzas. They arrived very timely and the pizza was still very hot. The delivery person was very nice. We all enjoyed this pizza. My mother commented that the bottom crust was cooked to perfection. It was nice and crispy without being overdone. The toppings were really tasty. They really have great pizza, and they have been my favorite. Last few visits I have noticed that they weren't as busy as usual. Then I found out why. They were highlighted on a local news spot called dirty dining. They were shut down in September due to live and dead cockroaches found in the food prep areas. I've had the pizza before but this time I decided to go with a chicken and mushroom in wine sauce dinner. It was not what I was expecting because it looked like a soup. Everything tasted fine at first but it wasn't till about an hour later I started feeling sick. What followed was the worst night I've every had. I was hit with a horrible case of food posioning that I am still trying to recover from. We called the restaurant the next day to inform them and all we got were excuses. Tonight at 9:30 my fiance' and I ordered a large special pie (same thing we always get) it came extremely undercooked. Dough and topping's were raw so underdone it stuck to the box. We called back and the 1st attempt was a young kid that picked up the phone said " village pizza were closed" and hung up. The 2nd call didn't go to well either, "I already turned the ovens off what would you like me to do about it??" Really Sir? How about I'm sorry or what can I do to fix it? A coupon perhaps? I called to order a pizza and the woman that answered said Village pizza how can I help you. I said I would like a delivery she said they are not delivering now I asked why she said they were short on drivers and by the time they get my order they'll be closed so I asked what time do you close and she responded by hanging up on me so I called back and I asked my manager and she said she was the manager. I've been living in Springhill for 21 years I always enjoyed Village pizza but I am a loyal customer and order from there a lot. I don't know who this person is but I did not deserve her attitude and for sure did not deserve to be hung up on. Recently visited Spring Hill Fl from New York. We decided we needed some pizza, so we decided to go to Village pizza. The atmosphere is decent (nothing special), the service was OK, the food portions were a little less than average, and the quality of the food was maybe a 5 out of a scale of 1-10, STAY AWAY FROM THE STROMBOLI (TRUST ME)!
