Nothing that exciting to write about. Average Vietnamese food... They are pretty quick. They have a special where if you buy 5 sandwiches (at once), you get the 6th free. I thought that was dumb but maybe more people buy sandwiches like that as opposed to being return customers? I haven't tried their drinks yet or their noodles. This is my first time visit. Being Asian came from California, I have a hard time finding this type of standard of Asian bistro in Houston. BBQ pork sandwich with fried egg is yummy. Good bread and tender meat for only $4! I tried their avocado boba too and actually smell and taste like real avocado unlike some you can find near 99 ranch market that taste very synthetic. The tapioka itself is chewy, sign of freshly made. Coming back tomorrow! The only drawback is sandwich order takes a little long. read more

I LOVE this place. I crave the sandwhiches and have eaten here at least twice a week for the past few months. I did takeout with them today. The vegetables are nice and fresh. (Cilantro is sooo yummy!) The bread is crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. I have not tried any of the plates yet because I like the sandwhiches too much. One thing that does seem a bit odd - there is no sweetener (sugar, splenda, etc.) available for iced tea. They do have a dispenser with sweetened tea but, those are always too syrupy tasting to me and I prefer to sweeten my own. If you ask, they will add some sweetner (a syrup of some sort) to your tea for you. I will be back for another sandwhich by Friday at the latest. read more

I believe it's owned by the same banh mi place down veterans near the Hong Kong market. Anyways the banh mi here is excellent. The bread is toasted to the rift amount so you don't cut up your mouth (like I do with other places...) besides that the number 5 (pork and egg) is the best. Overall they aren't complicated sandwiches with this or that, but the way the bread is made along with the meat of any type is cooked really well. It was our first visit to Vina Deli and let me tell you, we're definitely going back! We go every Sunday and enjoy yummy Vietnamese food so I know Vina Deli will definitely be on our list to bring our family to! Not only is it located right in our area, the take out portions are fantastic, the food was amazing and my Mango Smoothie with Tapioca was so yummy! The staff was super friendly and sweet as well. If you're in the Spring area and you want banh mi (or just a tasty sandwich in general), Vina Deli is a small shop that serves up delicious banh mi! The baguettes they use are toasted just right and their choice of vegetables + egg makes the sandwich top notch. It's so flavorful that your first bite in feels like banh mi heaven. This isn't a "nice" restaurant per say. It's usually a to-go place so if you're wanting a nice thing to do with your friends or family, I'd say to get this to-go and then go have a picnic or something (this food would be perf for a picnic!). I've gotten the beef fried noodles as well and it was ok, but I wouldn't get it again. If you come here, the banh mi is where it's at. The only con to the banh mi is that they use fatty meat. If that's your style and what you want, then you'll be glad to know. For me, however, I don't like fatty meat so I wish they'd get more lean meat. However, for the price, you get what you pay for. Came back to try their banh mi again (BBQ Pork for $3.99) and this time it was a lot better. Very soft, barely crisp bread that was just a bit too soft to hold together, but otherwise quite good. Lightly grilled, sweet BBQ pork that was not dry at all and slightly fatty. Fresh veggies with crunchy, perfectly cut carrots pickled just right, and thinly sliced cucumbers. And a savory, creamy mayo that's just slightly yellowed. To be honest, I actually enjoyed the banh mi this time. Sandwich came out hot, and everything tasted fresh. However it still had the same problems as before... mainly that they made it WAY too salty! They really go overboard with the Maggi seasoning. That initial whiff just punches you in the face. Too bad, cause it ruins an otherwise really good sandwich. aaand their prices are still pretty meh. For $4, the sandwiches are really small compared to most places. And then they want $4.75 for an average milk tea with lots of ice and terrible tapioca... If you want boba tea, DON'T get it from here but from I Heart Boba just a 4 min drive down Louetta. I have been here before and thought it was pretty good. I think of banh mi more as a snack then a meal but that's just me. Boba is decent and they have other choices such as rice plates, vermicelli, spring rolls, etc. Nothing too big and just thought of it as another place to get quick Viet food. Now the second time today that I've been here, it was amazing! The only difference from my first trip was that I decided to add pate to my banh mi for an extra 50 cents and it made all the difference. I'm not an expert so I'm not sure if everyone already gets pate on their banh mi but its so good! I have never had a banh mi as flavorful, juicy, and addicting! (Deciding to go for the second time today with my girlfriend to get more!) I usually get addicted to certain foods and quit them after a week or two constantly eating them so I'll definitely update this review by then. Definitely check them out! read more

I was annoyed because we gave our order twice and they still forgot part of it. The spring rolls were a disappointment. They didn't have pork nor mint leaves. They tasted very plain. The bahn mi had a really weird after taste. I'm used to places that use vietnamese mayo and it didn't seem like this place used them. Their smoothie menu seemed pretty limited and i wasn't that impressed with mine. I wouldnt say my experience with Vina was horrible, but i definitely wasn't impressed. read more
