Decent food. I may even go back. But, I won't be paying any tip. I always feel a moral obligation to tip whenever I see the multiple tip options starting from NO TIP. It was a tiny joint with 8 high chairs, but I chose a 15% kudos to my sloppy intuition and quick-firing moral reflexes. Food came out very fast. We sat facing the kitchen, so the wait staff probably walked five steps to deliver our food. They were all in take-out containers. We grabbed our own utensils and napkins. We re-arranged their condiment bottles so we could all sit together(four females). At one point, some black peppers seemed to stop midway in my throat and causes a hacking, incessant cough. I literally had to walk around the island and beg for water. Yeah, nobody offered me (or anyone else) water. Once we were done with food, we cleaned after ourselves and recycled/discarded trashes accordingly. Yeah, no tip. read more

Good food, made with good ingredients, and served at good prices! I've tried a lot of pho places in the area and this is definitely my favorite. I've had the veggie pho, the tofu fried rice, and the tofu bahn mi, which are all delicious! At other restaurants, I often find veggie broth to be quite oily, but this one isn't at all and is very flavorful. And the marinade they use on the tofu in all of their dishes is delicious! The chicken curry I ordered was flavorful and fresh. The potatoes that came with the curry were yummy and cooked perfectly. Not enough protein for the price so I deducted a star. The Thai milk tea was amazing and so worth the $4 dished out. There isn't much seating and you'll probably be waiting in line outside, but well worth it. read more

I have a lot of say about this business model, but I won't go down that rabbit hole too much. It's basically a fast food pho place. Even when you sit in and eat. It's all disposable compostable or recyclable everything. I don't like that aspect of this place at all. Such a wasteful business model and bad for mother earth. The food was decent and the staff was super nice. It's pretty solid pho and nice to have a place downtown to get pho. As a celiac I enjoyed the beef pho with shrimp and I didnt get sick. It's also $10-12 for a bowl of pho. I'm glad I got to check it out- I walk by it all the time. The inside is incredibly small if you want to eat there. read more

A group of coworkers wanted to grab a fast lunch, so we decided to go here for pho since it's in a convenient location by the Amazon buildings and Whole Foods. They didn't have very much seating here, so we ordered our pho to-go. It was pretty pricey for the small size bowl ($10), but surprisingly, it was very flavorful and one of the best bowls of pho I have eaten. If it was less pricey I would probably go here all the time, but I will definitely be back every once in awhile. I would recommend the pho with steak. Located like a block over from Whole Foods along SLU. Kind of a yuppie location with a lot of techies and Amazon folks. I came here for the banh mi. Ordered one grilled pork and one large chicken for takeout to bring back to the office. It's like a 20 minute walk to and from, and to my pleasant surprise, when I unwrapped it back at my desk, the sandwich was still perfectly in tact. No soggy bread, no saucey, mushy bread, it also didn't fall apart.. still fresh! Both the chicken and pork were great. Bread is crispy, both meats flavorful.. My ordered came to me like five minutes after I ordered, so I assume they have the meat cooked/prepped for the lunch rush. My only criticism is that cucumber wasn't cut well enough in the sandwich. For example, you can expect a giant wad of chopped cilantro (the worst kind) on anything you buy from here, whether you ask for it to not be there or not. Their fried rice is...more like donburi?
