I came to bento world at the recommendation of my hotel host for lunch. Due to current restrictions, they only had take out, so I got a Spicy Chicken Teriyaki plate and a Spicy Salmon roll for takeout. The Spicy chicken teriyaki plate solid and came in a really large portion. However, I thought there was a too much sauce on the chicken, which overpowered any other flavors which may have been in the chicken or the rice. The plate also came with a side of salad which was nice and added a bit of freshness and color to the dish. The spicy salmon roll didn't really have that much flavor or spice on its own, which I was a little disappointed in. Eating it with soy sauce and pickled ginger was nice though, as they added a lot of flavor which made up for the lack of flavor from the salmon. Overall, this place gives large portions for cheap, so if you are looking for a cheap and easy lunch, this is a really nice place to go to! read more

Honestly this place is VALUE. Definitely a top cheap eats! I normally grab my food to go from here (looks a little sketchy inside with very little seating). My boyfriend and I usually get the spicy chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu from here. They don't do it as a combo which is sad but we just split the food together! The katsu is crispy with a little bit of sauce drizzled over it. The spicy chicken teriyaki is drenched with delicious sauce! They give you a lot of salad on the side which almost makes me feel a little better after I finish the entire plate of food. You will definitely be full after eating the entire plate- you most likely will have some left over if you're not a fatass like me. I ordered the chicken katsu for lunch today and i decided to spoil myself and substitute the white rice for fried rice. To do so cost me an extra $4 bringing my total to $18 and change. While eating it the katsu seemed up to par, pretty much what I expected. However the fried rice that i paid $4! For was a complete rip off. Instead of giving me actual fried rice, they gave me regular white rice with egg and veggies mixed in. I know the difference between fried rice and white rice with toppings and i did not get what i paid for. The fact that they even mixed toppings into my rice means that the cook saw what i wanted(fried rice) and decided to be lazy and tried to deceive me. I will not be taken advantage of again and I do not recommend this location purely for their inability to correctly fill an order. P.S. - there was no prior line nor did i give any indication that i was in a hurry so the cooks decision was clearly intentional and there should be no excuse for such poor and deceitful service. read more

Great small, local hole in the wall type spot. Only reason I'm taking off a star is because the appearance of the place, no seating and no bathrooms. But to be honest not much of that is their fault. First all, this update could've been very challenging during Covid19 situation. It's not an easy decision to spend extra fund into the place without knowing when this situation gets better, I bet. Adding sushi bar was a brilliant idea and the sushi man knows what he's doing. He is very serious about his job. All of my maki, rolls and poke bowls are clean and personal touch to them.
