This is in fact teriyaki. Came on a Wednesday for lunch, and there was a bit of rush (they aren't open Tuesdays). They have call or text an order ahead, which may be useful on busy days as it took us around 30 min to get 4 orders. The place is causal, decent amount of seating, what you expect from a teriyaki place. Food was decent. It's a good amount of food for $20. I liked the egg roles and dumplings that came with the order, the lettuce "salad" with dressing was funny. The chicken(s) were fine, cooked well, mildly flavorful. Nothing impressive but nothing bad!

Chicken & Chicken Katsu Combo 4/5

Korean Owned Teriyaki with big portions and good variety. House Yakisoba 4/5: contains chicken beef and shrimp. The chicken is teriyaki chicken base without the sauce. Beef tasted kind of like bulgogi and I only saw maybe 3-4 shrimps. The noodles itself had a really tasty black pepper after taste that made it not too oily. I'd get it again, maybe just the beef, it compliments well with the noodles Chicken + Chicken Katsu Combo 4/5: a lot of food. There's a small mound of rice. Two chicken Katsus and two pieces of grilled chicken teriyaki chopped into pieces. Also included is 3 gyozas and 2 egg rolls. Teriyaki chicken needed more sauce and was a little dry compared to the katsu. The Katsu is solid for the cravings. Big servings, solid teriyaki.

Great food, a vegan option, very large portions, local owners , family owned and quick

My review is based solely on the "Pick Up" option. I ordered the Spicy Bulgogi, which comes with rice, salad, egg roll, and gyoza by default. I customized it by removing the rice and egg roll, and adding extra salad and gyoza. I've seen reviews mentioning that the portion size was smaller compared to the price, but in my opinion, it was a good portion. I finished it in one sitting, but had leftovers for lunch the next day, and it was quite filling both times. The salad was a bit disappointing since it only had lettuce, but it paired well with the meat. The bulgogi was tasty, with a great flavor. It might be too much on its own, so you might want rice or salad to complement it. The gyoza was delicious. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I would definitely come back for another pick-up.

Very nice worker. I don't know what I ordered but genuinely the best chicken I've ever had. I don't know what sauce it is but most delicious sauce ever. Taste best very hot

Saw this place passing by and stop by. It's a Teriyaki Spot tucked next to a Shell Gas Station. Walk in and you're greeted with menu in front of you. There a decent amount of seating. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki w/ Katsu. The food came with Pot Stickers and Gyozas. Teriyaki Chicken is good but not a fan of the sauce. Katsu is good. Pot Stickers and Gyozas were good. Oh and the salad was good too. If your in the area swing by

    Late night beef yakisoba

This review is entirely based on the beef yakisoba. I've not tried the teriyaki chicken or anything else there. Three stars is a rough rating to give because it insinuates the experience was nothing special. I've admittedly not had many yakisoba's, but I was not pleased with the level of sweetness with it here as I was hoping for a more savory flavor, which is why I didn't get the teriyaki chicken to begin with. I would recommend you DO try this place though, as their menu was extensive and they had a lot of neighborhood to-go orders flying out the door which makes me thing the other items could redeem my impression of their offerings. Very small place next door to a gas station, across from a grocery store, smack dab in the middle of a very high activity apartment area, near Seattle Center (Space Needle park). They were open until at least 9pm, which is when I grabbed my late meal. The seating area is very small and not any sort of intimate setting, but convenient if you wish to quickly sit, eat and exit. Ordering and order retrieval was pretty quick at about a 5 minute wait.

This place is a great spot for fast service and relatively affordable food. It is located next to Shell gas station close to Aurora. You can order online on their website which has a 1.50 convenience fee but otherwise the prices are the same. It was very easy to order online and pick up, with everything on time and self-explanatory. We got the honey garlic chicken which was on the sweeter side as well as the spicy teriyaki bowl. Everything was delicious. Only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because if you aren't in a rush you can definitely find better teriyaki spots in the city with a little more tender meat.

Chicken Yakisoba - enough for two people?!?!

It may seem excessive that I have been giving out a lot of 5-star reviews lately, but a) I've been lucky I guess and b) I'm possibly more easily impressed during "these times". ANYWAY, Teri-King gets stuff right, they don't skimp on ingredients, they have a wider menu than the previous teriyaki place that was here (previous place gave us grief for asking to "add extra broccoli"). Anyway, we've been to Teri-King many times recently and are impressed. There's a parking lot which is handy but here's a tip: don't park in the Domino's spots - they get huffy! Online ordering is very easy - or you can phone them directly: they won't get mad if you ask them to add extra broccoli!)

Honestly was surprised by this place, I've driven by it a lot and finally ordered take out when I was craving my favorite Seattle dish. The chicken was tasty, I personally like my sauce a little thicker but overall tasted good! The surprise for me was the rice, it was perfectly cooked and had that mirin sweetness to it. The eggroll and potstickers were alright, not amazing. Overall great value for the big portion!

The menu and experience differ between lunch and dinner, and this is my lunch review. Simply put, lunch is much more casual and affordable than dinner (You order lunch scanning the QR code at the table). If you're on a budget, you can eat lunch here for less than $20. I went here for lunch twice during my business trip last month and here's what I ordered: - Seafood Tofu Soup - $17.50 - A seafood soondoobu (순두부) with a generous helping of soft tofu, shrimp, mussels and clam, served with rice. Delicious, refreshing and not spicy-I bet they could make it spicy if you asked. I enjoyed the texture from the cabbage bits. - Seolleongtang (설렁탕) - $15.50 - Oxtail bone broth served with potato starch noodles and brisket, comes with salt and green onion already added(typically doesn't at other Korean restaurants). High-quality ingredients and flavor, a great comfort food with a generous serving of brisket. - Shaved ice dessert (빙수) - $9.00 - A great combination of cinnamon, ginger cream and fried rice puffs. Delicious and different than other Korean shaved ice desserts I've had that typically have red bean and overly sweet ingredients. If you're on the fence about coming here, maybe try out lunch first. Lunch is more casual, affordable and simpler than dinner, but is delicious and high-quality. You should come here for dinner too, and I'll post about my dinners here soon.

He told me I made the best Cavatelli al Rapini he'd ever had. So trust me when I say I know food better than the back of my hand. This place is rare. I stumbled in because it looked frufru and right up my alley, but it's everything you'd expect from those celebrity chef, Michelin Guide, eyeball eating experiences, without an ounce of the pretentiousness. The entire team is humble, soft spoken, and unbelievably talented. My server, Stella, gave phenomenal recommendations and made for genuinely great conversation. You can tell everyone here is passionate and actually gives a f%#k. That's becoming incredibly rare in this industry, where too many chefs are chasing their next award and too many servers are chasing their next paycheck. If you have something to celebrate, a first date to impress, or just need an excuse to treat yourself, make a reservation here. And whatever you do, don't you dare leave without ordering the oxtail or the tartare. Outstanding job.

These folks probably need another great review like Elon Musk needs an increase in his allowance,…read morebut fairness demands that I not keep silent regarding my enjoyment of this restaurant: THE ROSES: Ample dedicated parking. The staff is gracious, prompt, professional, and - I hope no one objects when I say this - rather attractive. Generous portions and reasonable prices for what you're getting. The food is nothing sort of legendary - bold flavors and dishes have the perfect balance of sweet, heat, savory, and umami. THE THORNS: None significant enough to mention. NEITHER ROSE NOR THORN: It is important to note that this place is insanely popular with the area's Korean community. The restaurant is quite busy Thursday thru Sunday, and significant waits for a table are likely. Monday thru Wednesday is your best time for going and getting a table without a wait. The price of some dishes, like their signature offering, Kalbijjim, might give you a pause ($80+). It is important to keep in mind this is made to order, and one serving can easily serve four regular appetites. If you're just a couple, you're definitely going to be taking this home with you. This is not a bad thing, as Kalbijjim is one of those dishes that is even better the next day and doesn't suffer from reheating. THE VERDICT: Daeho Kalbijjim is extremely popular, and it's not hard to see why. The execute authentic Korean cuisine pretty much flawlessly with efficient and charming service. What else to you want in a restaurant? Highly recommend. Just try not to go on the busy days.

The first time I visited, the quality of the meat cuts didn't impress me, and the soups lacked depth of flavor. I'm not talking about needing more salt--the broth itself just tasted flat. When you're paying close to $30 for a bowl of soup, I think it's reasonable to expect a higher level of quality and care to ingredients. The second visit was a mixed experience. To be fair, I was in the wrong. There is a clearly posted policy stating that your entire party must be present before being seated. My group was about seven minutes away, and since I had already checked in on Yelp and there were only two parties ahead of me with no one physically waiting, I asked if I could be seated and order while I waited. I had already been standing inside for about 10 minutes. I was told that although tables were available, seating me ahead of the other parties on the waitlist would be unfair. I understood the reasoning, but she had also asked prior for my order. Her explanation left me confused so i sheepishly said I understood the policy. She already seemed upset by the time i had gotten there. Sometimes we have off days i get that. This place is clearly hit or miss, I've got friends who absolutely swear by it. For me, though, it wasn't anything special and didn't justify the price. If you're looking for Korean food in the area, I've had better experiences with higher-quality dishes elsewhere, especially in Lynnwood.

I think that is the point of this dish, so if you want a more traditional spicy flavor then get the other ttoekbokki option (spicy rice cakes). We still loved this one and the rice cakes were so chewy and delicious. The cheese corn was very yummy and exactly what you would expect. It pairs perfectly with the other dishes. My friends also shared the Seafood ramen and Beef bulgogi. They liked both dishes. One of our favorite things were the side dishes actually! The tofu was so yummy, and the bean sprouts were so crunchy and well seasoned. We even asked for extra! The only aspect that makes it difficult to come more often is the price point. I've tried galbitang at other places, but there was an umami that many didn't have.
