This is in fact teriyaki. Came on a Wednesday for lunch, and there was a bit of rush (they aren't open Tuesdays). They have call or text an order ahead, which may be useful on busy days as it took us around 30 min to get 4 orders. The place is causal, decent amount of seating, what you expect from a teriyaki place. Food was decent. It's a good amount of food for $20. I liked the egg roles and dumplings that came with the order, the lettuce "salad" with dressing was funny. The chicken(s) were fine, cooked well, mildly flavorful. Nothing impressive but nothing bad!

Chicken & Chicken Katsu Combo 4/5
    Irene L.

Korean Owned Teriyaki with big portions and good variety. House Yakisoba 4/5: contains chicken beef and shrimp. The chicken is teriyaki chicken base without the sauce. Beef tasted kind of like bulgogi and I only saw maybe 3-4 shrimps. The noodles itself had a really tasty black pepper after taste that made it not too oily. I'd get it again, maybe just the beef, it compliments well with the noodles Chicken + Chicken Katsu Combo 4/5: a lot of food. There's a small mound of rice. Two chicken Katsus and two pieces of grilled chicken teriyaki chopped into pieces. Also included is 3 gyozas and 2 egg rolls. Teriyaki chicken needed more sauce and was a little dry compared to the katsu. The Katsu is solid for the cravings. Big servings, solid teriyaki.

Great food, a vegan option, very large portions, local owners , family owned and quick

My review is based solely on the "Pick Up" option. I ordered the Spicy Bulgogi, which comes with rice, salad, egg roll, and gyoza by default. I customized it by removing the rice and egg roll, and adding extra salad and gyoza. I've seen reviews mentioning that the portion size was smaller compared to the price, but in my opinion, it was a good portion. I finished it in one sitting, but had leftovers for lunch the next day, and it was quite filling both times. The salad was a bit disappointing since it only had lettuce, but it paired well with the meat. The bulgogi was tasty, with a great flavor. It might be too much on its own, so you might want rice or salad to complement it. The gyoza was delicious. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I would definitely come back for another pick-up.

Very nice worker. I don't know what I ordered but genuinely the best chicken I've ever had. I don't know what sauce it is but most delicious sauce ever. Taste best very hot

Saw this place passing by and stop by. It's a Teriyaki Spot tucked next to a Shell Gas Station. Walk in and you're greeted with menu in front of you. There a decent amount of seating. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki w/ Katsu. The food came with Pot Stickers and Gyozas. Teriyaki Chicken is good but not a fan of the sauce. Katsu is good. Pot Stickers and Gyozas were good. Oh and the salad was good too. If your in the area swing by

    Late night beef yakisoba

This review is entirely based on the beef yakisoba. I've not tried the teriyaki chicken or anything else there. Three stars is a rough rating to give because it insinuates the experience was nothing special. I've admittedly not had many yakisoba's, but I was not pleased with the level of sweetness with it here as I was hoping for a more savory flavor, which is why I didn't get the teriyaki chicken to begin with. I would recommend you DO try this place though, as their menu was extensive and they had a lot of neighborhood to-go orders flying out the door which makes me thing the other items could redeem my impression of their offerings. Very small place next door to a gas station, across from a grocery store, smack dab in the middle of a very high activity apartment area, near Seattle Center (Space Needle park). They were open until at least 9pm, which is when I grabbed my late meal. The seating area is very small and not any sort of intimate setting, but convenient if you wish to quickly sit, eat and exit. Ordering and order retrieval was pretty quick at about a 5 minute wait.

This place is a great spot for fast service and relatively affordable food. It is located next to Shell gas station close to Aurora. You can order online on their website which has a 1.50 convenience fee but otherwise the prices are the same. It was very easy to order online and pick up, with everything on time and self-explanatory. We got the honey garlic chicken which was on the sweeter side as well as the spicy teriyaki bowl. Everything was delicious. Only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is because if you aren't in a rush you can definitely find better teriyaki spots in the city with a little more tender meat.

Chicken Yakisoba - enough for two people?!?!

It may seem excessive that I have been giving out a lot of 5-star reviews lately, but a) I've been lucky I guess and b) I'm possibly more easily impressed during "these times". ANYWAY, Teri-King gets stuff right, they don't skimp on ingredients, they have a wider menu than the previous teriyaki place that was here (previous place gave us grief for asking to "add extra broccoli"). Anyway, we've been to Teri-King many times recently and are impressed. There's a parking lot which is handy but here's a tip: don't park in the Domino's spots - they get huffy! Online ordering is very easy - or you can phone them directly: they won't get mad if you ask them to add extra broccoli!)

Teriyaki Chicken (Deluxe) with Gyoza & Egg Roll and Chicken Katsu

Honestly was surprised by this place, I've driven by it a lot and finally ordered take out when I was craving my favorite Seattle dish. The chicken was tasty, I personally like my sauce a little thicker but overall tasted good! The surprise for me was the rice, it was perfectly cooked and had that mirin sweetness to it. The eggroll and potstickers were alright, not amazing. Overall great value for the big portion!

Very good to know for future reference. Karaage is in the name and is their signature dish. They make it the right way using chicken thigh. Prices are reasonable for the Seattle area. We will return again. The Food: Curry Rice with Karaage, $17.95 - 4 Stars This popular curry rice comes with a choice of protein, which naturally, we chose karaage. The curry sauce is delicious. The small is a good compliment to salad. Instead of four pieces, we had five. Hubby was happy to have more protein to go with the rice. They are more of a 4.5 stars rating. There is a caveat though, which is that they only have select items in the AYCE menu. The ambiance of the place was inviting enough for us to give them a try! All orders have to be made from an app on your phone so make sure you have a fully charged device! When we logged in the app, it was confusing to manage at first so we worked with the server to put our orders in. She had to put in our orders for us a couple of times and then we figured out how to work the system after that. To do the math for those reading the review and maximize the number of items you can order with the 90 minute window, you can potentially order up to 18 sets of skewers per person. Each set of skewer has two sticks. My hubby and I missed a few items from our order but we were getting full after my 10th skewer and his 15th skewer so it did not matter too much! The AYCE menu also has options to order zaru soba, corn cheese, and takoyaki! Presentation is great but I wish the flavor matched the visuals. The standout skewers for us were the boruta pork and the wagyu beef tongue. I was really hoping that the yakitori would be crispier and had more of a smokey flavor but I really can't complain too much for the price point. However, after I took my first bite I noticed the taste was unusually fishy and the texture was off. I checked the other rolls and the "crab salad" looked stringy like real crab so I spit it out and had my partner ask the chef if it was imitation or real. The chef said it was real so we flagged down our waitress to tell her we couldn't eat this even though I had literally asked her to confirm for me. She brings out the manager and there's no apology, he just says "the owners switched to real crab about 3 weeks ago for better quality" and that they can take it back and off the bill, but hello? You don't inform your staff about that change? Your waitress confirmed to me that it was not crab. They were lucky I spit out my food as soon as I realized and had allergy medicine on me. They rushed me to pick something else after I asked if I could order something without crab since the kitchen was closing and they didn't have imitation crab to use (which could all have been avoided had they given me the correct information to begin with). What we ended up with was alright, though the manager rushed me to order a roll with bell pepper in it (tf?). The cherry on top is that when our waitress came with our bill, they gave us three tip options - based on the original total LMAO!! Our new bill was around $50 (since we ordered less) vs the other $100+ bill and somehow an 18% tip was nearly half of our bill. We aren't ones to not tip and it's not like this was the kitchen's fault - just management - so we left a 15% tip for our new bill.

There were 2 servers who were VERY patient, friendly, and attentive to every single thing we needed. This establishment is small and you have to make reservations. You can find easily their door. We all sat down at the bar which makes it easier to see how food is prepared and listen to the chefs about their creations :) This gives you the opportunity to experience the whole thing and ask questions to the Team about food, species, differences, sources, etc. I am worried about uncooked food, but this really was worth it. They open with a soup which was rich and so good for a rainy day -which it was-. Then the round of makis started. It started with the "basic". But for me they were amazing since the beginning. Of course the further it went, the more noticeable the delicacy and tenderness of the meat became. There was another soup at some point. I lost count of how many pieces we had. I was focused on the ingredients when they mentioned them. Pure art. I remember the second plate was a beautiful collage of many bites. Loved all of them! The mix of all these flavors is unique. I believe they cook everything previously (marinades and rice) and put everything together in that moment. At the end we had dessert. And thay tiny dessert felt so good. I didn't feel hungry even with just one bite of each. There's a parking lot on the next corner. So no need to drive around. I really recommend the experience.
