The service at this Vince is absolutely fantastic. Both Shay and Sahar were both incredibly helpful in suggesting different styles and sizes. Vince is a brand known for high-quality American clothing that is California based. Some of their pricing is a bit steep, but the quality makes it a great value. PSA to all buyers: Deceptive practices on returns and exchanges. They make you sign up for the 15% discount in store and as a result of that you cannot return or exchange items in the store due to the items now being considered "final sale". They do not tell you about this . Even though the receipt only shows one item marked as final sale while others are not. Also the store prices are twice as much as they are on Nordstrom Rack or Saks Fifth Avenue. They only price match if you bring it up to them while you are literally at the register. Tried calling the store the day after purchase, but no one answers the phone. I was outta town so my fiancé went to the store, but there was no store manager. I went to the store 5 days after the purchase, but they wouldn't price match two items because Nordstrom Rack/ Saks wouldn't list Style codes online. To prove her point, she googled the style code, and it didn't pop up. Not even on their own Vince website. The items I purchased were about $200 more in the store and they wouldn't allow me to return, exchange or give me store credit. They made me wait in store for over an hour while they spoke to the manager who educated them on their "policies". Will not return to this brand, due to the scammy nature of the brands policies and the store associates being dishonest. read more

I bought a suede long coat in July, when I first had chance to wear it, the brown color faded to my ST Pants badly. I contacted the store, the management refused to help me, stated it normal like a blue Jean fades color to white sneakers. Come on, the suede coat is at$1600, I bought at sales for $760. I am very upset with management to compare with less than $50Jeans. I like the coat, I asked the store to treat the coat, if the color is not fading to my cloth, I am fine. No, they don't want to do that. Please see attached photos, you can judge it yourself. When you spent $760 for a sale item, you expect it has high quality. Oh, the button is almost off after one wear. I am very disappointed with Vince quality. Don't recommend to shop at this store, the store won't put customer first. you are on your own risk. This store is extremely well organized, tidy, and well-staffed on a Saturday evening. Why? Because they don't have any customers. However, despite their lack of another soul outside of my mother an I, at least two employees were on the floor when we entered and not one greeted us. One of them was working a mere 5 feet from us and actually avoided eye contact as I turned around and he was facing me to walk passed me. I came in to buy one of their wool coats that I had kept an eye on but hadn't had the chance to stop by and see in person until today. But due to the lack of concern of the staff tonight, I told my mom we're leaving. Upon leaving, the man (who seemed maybe a manager and wasn't visible on the floor when we entered) greeted us goodbye, so at least there was that. This is not the first time that I've been treated this way at this outlet, and I have come to suspect it's due to the Chinese customers that got (maybe still do) bussed here on tourism. In case they don't realize: Firstly, this drives your company revenue up (do I need to continue on about those effects? I hope not) Secondly, you'd do well treat all customers individually. If you hate your job, then leave and go find your passion where you can act properly and feel dignified enough to just do your job. read more

If I could give it zero stars, I would. I was there two weekends ago on a Sunday afternoon. At 1 pm, I went up to the store to go in, after driving 1 hour to the store. Only to see a note on the door that said "closed until 3:30". I saw TWO people / workers in there as I was peering in. One came to the door and said "sorry we're closed for lunch." CLOSED FOR LUNCH FOR 2.5 HOURS ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON?! When there are two people working?! It seemed crazy to me. And I have to believe that whomever owns the store would not be happy to hear that they shut down while paying 2 people's' wages for 2.5 hours on the busiest day of the week for a dual lunch. Seemed crazy. But also seems to be indicative of all the poor customer service ratings others have given the store. read more

I actually hadn't heard of Vince before until recently when I saw it on instagram. I was just curious to see what kind of stuff they sell. Their clothes look pretty much identical to H&M or Zara but super expensive. They were selling a jacket for retail $700+ and the outlet price was still $500. A basic plain gray t-shirt was $100+ and that's already discounted. It would make sense if the style was unique or their materials were different but it just seems like a hefty price tag on basic clothing. Service was cordial, not bad. read more

The employees are very nice and the selection is okay. But the two times I've been in the store the charge card system was not working and the employee advised that it would be unavailable for the entire day. All other stores had their systems up. I'm suspicious about this company. read more

I don't know what the previous reviewer has heard or been told, but Vince does indeed have a made for outlet, "second-tier" brand, and the difference is pretty obvious. 1) look for a different hang tag, and 2) be aware that some items are Vince older stock, but most are "second-tier". Any internet search will put you right. read more

So after my last review I heard from the store manager, saying they were very sorry for my experience and we were not the only ones with this issue and it had been taken care of. So while Christmas shopping my husband and I decided to give it another try. It was a much better experience, we didn't have an associate attached at the hip and reminding us of all the deals, we could actually look in peace. We came out of the store with 4 Christmas presents and a shirt for me and one for my husband. We will be back. read more

First off, let's go with the positives: Clean store, helpful customer service (well, to a degree - I'll discuss more later), and beautiful/classic/simple/sophisticated clothing. You can get great deals when they offer an additional discount to the outlet prices. Now the negative (and this is a big negative for me): The other day I went in with my teenager who tried on a pair of blue high top sneakers that were an additional 30% off, making them $150. Almost exact Vince shoes at Neiman Marcus in Walnut Creek were on the sale rack for $375! He tried them on and really liked them, so I asked the woman (didn't get her name, but very nice) who assisted if we could return them. She said you can get a refund or store credit. I went back the next day to get them for a Christmas present and a different cashier (Jessica) rung me up. Fast forward a couple days, my son discovered them and begged me to return them as he didn't want me to buy him such expensive shoes. I went back in and Jessica told me that I could only get a store credit. I told her that the receipt clearly states if you return them within 14 days, you can get a refund or a store credit. She then offered to give me a gift card that 'never expires.' When I said no, I will take the refund, she argued with me that that policy only applies to the retail stores. I asked her why is the refund policy on the back of an OUTLET receipt with no language stating it only applies to retail stores? She huffed and went ahead and issued the refund. They must be paid on commission, because she tried to hold onto it for dear life. The friendly disposition she had when I first walked into the store was long gone at that point. WARNING TO ALL SHOPPERS: You CAN return your items for a REFUND within 14 days - do not let Jessica or any other salesperson tell you otherwise!
