If I could leave a zero star review I would, I have been ordering from Vincent's for the past 2 years, but after tonight: NEVER AGAIN. This is the WORST pizza I have ever ordered. When I called to place the order I was put on hold for an outrageously long time, then the employee seemed incapable of understanding what I was trying to order, a half veggie, half plain pizza, with two rice balls. Once I walked into the shop, I wasn't even greeted with a smile or a hello. I was given the box with no opportunity to open and check the pie before I left. When I got home and opened the box, this is what I saw. The pizza is lopsided, it looks like it's missing a chunk. And the vegetables are entirely under-cooked, and greasy. The mushrooms are slimy like they've been drowned in oil. And the flavor is completely unappetizing. I am so disappointed in this pizzeria and I will never be going to back. I do not recommend this restaurant, if you can even call it a restaurant. read more

Absolutely disgusting! Half of my baked ziti is severely undercooked and I can taste the can in the sauce. There is no way my ziti went in the oven. The cheese is not incorporated well and my garlic bread was burned. I'm so angry I spent money. This what happens when you try to cut a corner and grab dinner on the way home. With so many pizzerias around this location, it must be tough hitting the taste buds of every customer, when they could just go next door and happen to get a hit on a hit or miss day and make that their new go-to location. The place has a nice abidance feeling in the back, where it's cozy. I'm glad it opens a bit later than most locations, it urges us late time works to come right here. A coworker and I needed food, yes we needed food not wanted, and this was one of the few places open after 10PM. We both order two pasta entrees which were ready just when I got there. They looked delicious, lots of sauce and large chunks of chicken which is the way I love my pasta! Sadly we both had the same issue, the meat didn't seem seasoned and the sauce was bland. Maybe it's because we ordered so late at night and they didn't put in the same effort as during the day. I really had to hold myself back from calling and complaining. Nice, informal/casual place with good Italian food at very reasonable prices and good service. Definitely worth a visit.

Got a salad to go and put it in the fridge for later. Took it out a few hours later and saw they put the dressing on rather than on the side. Who does this? You don't know how much dressing I want and now the lettuce is soggy. Gross. Food is average, if you order anything from the kitchen it takes forever, like double the time they tell you it will take. They usually have a large selection of slices so I would stick to that unless you wanna be waiting forever. Also the limited street parking is usually full so that's awesome. read more

The pizza is okay, although on a few occasions, the slices that I got were either not heated throughly enough to which they felt lukewarm to almost room temperature, but reheating those slices made them 10 times better. Aside from these instances, I've often found that pizza was often flavorful and well prepared, as well as reasonably priced compared to the other pizzeria's around the town, to which similar slices have cost much more at others but didn't taste as well prepared as Vincent's does. The service is usually reasonably timed, so you won't be waiting too long for your pizza, as well as the staff there being pretty friendly, creating a more relaxed environment that you'd want to go back to. read more

Placed an order via seamless (GrubHub). After 2 hours of waiting I called Vincent's to see what was taking so long. A woman came to the phone said they were very busy and that once the order goes out for delivery they cannot track it (mind you it is the restaurants delivery person). After finally getting a seamless representative to reach out to Vincent's they were informed that the food was delivered to another address, then tried to tell me that there was an issue with an item we ordered, and finally said they would cook the order (more than two and a half hours after we placed the order) and deliver it. I'd love it include a review of the actual order but unfortunately we had to decline and seamless was able to get a refund. Terrible service, unapologetic incompetence, I can't recommend read more

Ok, here is Vincent's first 5 star review of 2014 I work in the Capital One building across the street. I am a regular. The pizza is top 5 in Nassau County. And they don't rip off their customers. prices are low, food quality is high. Young kid at register is a hard worker and is always smiling. And it's not just a pizza place, their italian dishes and seafood are great. I've had pizza all over Long Island and Vincent's can hang with all of them. I live in the are so of course I've been here a few time. Luckily, I've never been disappointed! Most recently, my fiancé and I came with the intention of eating full dinners, not just slices. The line was a bit long but to my very pleasant surprise I was offered a glass of wine while waiting! Well if that isn't the way to my heart while at a restaurant, I don't know what it! So of course after this I didn't worry much about the wait, but it honestly wasn't more than about 20 minutes! Once we sat down we decided to order an appetizer. We went with the fried zucchini! Definitely one of the best I've had! We were even recommended to top the zucchini, dipped in sauce, with Parmesan cheese and honestly it was a game changer! Made it taste just that much better! We loved it! For dinner I ordered the chicken Marsala and added broccoli to it, and my fiancé ordered chicken parm! Everything came out amazing and there was more than enough to take home for leftovers which was great because it tasted just as great the next day! We also decided to spoil ourselves and get a cannoli, which was definitely delicious! This is an awesome spot to come to in the area whether you're sitting down for dinner or just grabbing some slices (which are equally as good as the food!)! I pass by this place on they way home from work and Friday night will be the busiest of the week. It's such a family-friendly environment and all of the employees are really nice. It's hard not to give them 5 stars but I think the minor error to be mentioned should be made note of. I've been here a once or twice a while ago but I never tried anything special to make note of. I went last night and decided to have a nice dinner going in for pasta and some chicken. First, bread starters and fried calamari appetizer were really good. You can tell the calamari wasn't originally frozen and was straight from the frier. I chose the medium sauce to go with it which wasn't necessarily bad but I think the spicy sauce might have complemented it better. A third option is a sweet sauce, in case that peeks your interest. Deciding on the Penne a la Vincent was based off of reviews here and that was most certainly an excellent choice. The sauce was great and the size was excellent. The Chicken Campagniola that appeared really good on the menu - with sausage, onion, potatoes, and red peppers - wasn't as great as I had hoped. The dish was overcooked a little; the onions and red peppers were burnt and the chicken had lost its soft tenderness. Altogether it was a little dry but that was easily resolved by eating it together with the pasta. This was probably the only negative aspect of the entire meal but not something to be terribly disappointed about. I don't think the chicken should deter you from visiting since this place has excellent food nevertheless. Been going to Vincent's in Lynbrook, NY for years. They enjoyed a great reputation for great food at reasonable prices. However, that rep is No More. Their food gas deteriorated greatly. Their staff is sullen and nasty - the restaurant is filthy. Last time I was there, they had dishes filled with flies sitting on their windowsills. They refused to remove them and insisted we had to sit at the tables there. We all lost our appetites & left. Because of past, good experiences, I went back few weeks later - the bug dishes were gone, but the food has greatly gone downhill & the prices gone up!! I always order from Vincent's. This last time I ordered a lot of food to go. I specifically ordered 2 orders of mozzarella sticks (they were for me and my brother). Not only did they make me wait an extra 30 minutes for the mozzarella sticks .. that night I got SO sick. I thought it was a stomach bug until my brother started getting sick also. I see why this place is so highly rated and the place is renovated from when I went last back in high school. They were packed when I went in to grab a take out order of 2 pizzas and those pepperoni knots. The knots were absolutely worth it however I think the pizza price is a little steep for the area and the topping up charge is rough. My grandmother wanted a veggie pizza, which I guess they didn't offer because every topping was a full extra charge. We also ordered a sausage pizza and the sausage was plentiful and really savory, but they did not crisp the bottom enough to make up for the toppings and it fell apart getting onto the dish to go back into our oven. Vincent's is our favorite spot. My husband and his Uncle and cousin go there for their weekly guys night out for dinner and sports. Being on a diet, I have a whole new appreciation for pizza. Vincent's gets the prize for the best slice of regular pizza. Mom and I ordered a pie for our after weigh-in indulgence. I love Vincent's Pizza! I've been coming here since I was a kid. When my mom used to force me to go to the protestant church we would sometimes come here after church, my youth group teacher also took us out to lunch here for a lesson on resisting temptation. My most recent trips here have been a few years ago to pop in when I got off the train from library school classes. I had food catered from here yesterday. The half tray of shrimp Francese was less than half full and the shrimp were medium size. The menu read "jumbo shrimp" and half a tray good enough for 8-10 people. When I called, I was told that half a tray comes with 30 shrimp (not listed on the menu). They said there was nothing they could do. I could place another order but it would be at the regular price of $70.00. Battle of the Pizzas! This place is my wife's attempt to show me New York style pizza. It was good. I wasn't Blown away, but better than other pizzas that I have had in the past. At first I was little hesitant on how it my slice was just sitting outside in the glass counters (I'm from California and food isn't laid out that way, different health regulations), but I got over it once I tasted it. One of the best pizza places of the south shore Long Island period. And that is saying a lot considering how many pizza places there truly are on the Island. Everytime I go there, whether its alone, or with my family or with friends. Its the same nice crew behind the counter. Always greeting me and taking my order promptly. It has a very nice authetnic feel in the place like it hasn't changed much over the years but is still kept up and maintained properly. The food itself is just great. A very nice menu with all you would expect of a pizza place with some nice extras. If you sit down for the full course menu the options open up even further with Italian meals that will keep you coming back again and again. And the prices are very reasonable. They haven't increased their prices like some of the other places seem to constantly do. That is probably the best part. You get great tasting pizza and other extras all at a very great price. It seems like the prices here are what others should be charging for a simple slice of pizza and a soda. This place just seems to get it right with everything. The food is great, there is a lot of parking on either the street or a lot behind the street next o it and its a pleasure to go to each time I walk in there. No matter who you see working there they all seem happy and content to help you. The owner there is also very nice and seems to run a good business there where he cares about the customer. You don't find many places that charge you reasonable prices and cater to the needs of the customers much as this place does. If you are ever in Long Island and need a good place to go for a pizza, have I got the place for you. Vincent's is the must go to location if you are in Lynbrook and have friends visiting and need to show them a great pizza place. You won't be sorry going here. Have come here in the past both sit down dining and slices from the front to go. Usually pretty good. Today was horrible plain slice was very very dry, stale crust very little flavor.
