okay, first off: this place wins all the things b/c there's an elderly woman who wanders the store back and forth from the pasta maker and the deli case. she wears her hair in a bun and has glasses and she was just adorable. well done, old lady. this is an independent Italian deli in a strip mall in the land of strip malls. a light in the darkness and a beacon that good taste is still alive. if you like wine you should come her b/c they have a lot of it. I don't know anything about wine but I know they have a lot of it and it looked very fancy and in cool wood boxes. they also have their own house made sausage on a charcoal grill on the side walk. I didn't get it but I will next time b/c it looked like a a good thing. they have two big deli cases filled with prepared for for take out and the. another case of cheeses and meats. oye. my friend and I split an Italian sub which was very good on a enormous baguette. the half sub was as big as my head. great little place with lots of weird interesting Italian peppers and groceries to look at! yay 161 and sawmill for not being a cultural wasteland! read more

Drop everything and come here for lunch!! The food is, hands down, the absolute best Italian food in Columbus, let alone the best Italian food I have ever eaten in my life! Fresh handmade pasta and eggplant parmesean they prepared for me fresh with a tender and juicy grilled salmon steak. My friend had pasta and veal parmesean. The sauce was stellar. i love this place. the breads are amazing - specifically the sea salt and herb baguette and the mozz bread. but man is it expensive ($7 for a baguette). the selection of wine and dried pastas are good and affordable. i totally recommend going here, but be prepared to spend! read more

My company LOVES ordering lunch from Louis at Vincenzo's! We have ordered ahead of time for as many as 40 people, and walked in to get food out of their display for up to 15. Louis and his team have always gone the extra mile to make sure the food is delicious; assembling subs right in front of us, ensuring calzones are heated to the right temperature, providing extra sauce when needed. What strikes me most about this establishment is that Louis genuinely appreciates your business, and it's obvious from the way he treats his customers. He even helped a co-worker and myself carry our orders out to the car. Always so impressed with the service, the food is AUTHENTIC (Louis's Italian mother was making homemade pasta the last time I was there) and always delicious. I also grab some of the pre-made food on my way home and heat it up on my own...and it helps that they have an amazing wine selection as well :) So refreshing to find a local establishment with great food and even better people! read more

The food is great but I have stopped visiting due to concerns over it's level of cleanliness. The bread racks used for baking truly look as if they have never been washed. When I asked for the restroom, they showed me to the managers office where there was a toilet in the corner. I'm not kidding. read more

I've been going to Vincenzos for over 20 years and it continues to get better and better, which I didn't think was possible. The homemade sauces and variety of high end Italian delicacies make it the best place in Columbus. Vincenzos Stromboli is the best and highest quality of premium imported meats and cheeses which I take to my family every Christmas Eve. Everyone raves about it and once you've had it, you won't look at Stromboli the same ever again. They have a selection of Wine that is second to none and the folks that work there don't seem like employees. They obviously care about making sure their customers get exactly what they are looking for and will even take your order out to your car if need be. Great quality homemade fresh food and ingredients. I am a man of many sandwiches and let me tell you, vicenzo's has got a special place in my heart. Heres why. 1. They are made with delicious fresh ingredients on delicious fresh baked bread. 2. THEY ARE HUGE!!! but without sacrificing on taste, not something that is easy to do. 3. They serve the best damn stromboli's and calzones around. The trick is to get there around lunch time to get the food while its hot and fresh (the make pre-prepared food, except their sandwiches). If you work or live in NW Columbus/Dublin, you have to try this place. It's located in the same strip mall as Trader Joe's. This is an authentic Italian deli / carryout restaurant. I ordered lunch for my employees the other day. (Carryout - so you will need to pick up the food because they don't deliver- but it's worth it!) I ordered the lasagna, eggplant parmesan, Italian subs, Veggie subs and the castellan salad (mixed greens loaded with fresh vegetables). Finally, I ordered cannolias for dessert. The food was outstanding - it always is. My employees loved the food. You have to try their cannolis for dessert. You also need try their Italian breads. They sell fresh baked loaves of assorted breads. The two we love are the four cheese & herb and pepperoni loaves. During the OSU football season, you need to order your loaves ahead of time because they sell out. At a minimum, stop by and purchase a loaf of their bread- you've never tasted anything like this. I have lived in Dublin pretty much my whole life and this has been, by far, my favorite Italian restaurant. I highly recommend their strombolis, the pepperoni and cheese being my favorite. They also have a large selection of Italian bread with various amounts of herbs and spices. This place use to be awesome but has since took a turn for the worst. The last two times I have called the phone just rang and no one answered. After confirming their hours online, they finally answered my fourth phone call. They couldn't offer me hot subs because their oven was down for cleaning on a Monday at 3pm. I thought cleaning an oven was done after hours but aparantly not here. I just hope all that dirt in the air from cleaning those hoods didnt get into all the food laying around. I have been a customer here since the week they opened. When I am short on time or need a sure-bet meal for my family and/or guests, this is the place to go. Frequently my family will request Vincenzo's spaghetti and meatballs for their birthday dinners or special occasions. This place is more of a take-it-and-go restaurant but there are a few high-top tables inside where you can sit, eat, and drink the bottle of wine you just bought. They also have an outdoor patio and an outdoor grill that they use regularly. I've tried several of their menu items and all have been wonderful. My favorite of all though, is the bread. Oh my goodness, the bread.... You have GOT to try the olive oil, herb, and sea salt breads they make. So moist. So flavorful. So.... gone in 5 minutes. read more

What a gem! For years we've enjoyed the amazing Italian bread baked fresh each morning. As a hint, it freezes beautifully. Other favorites include the large meatballs, manicotti, Italian wedding soup, and the absolutely best grilled salmon in Columbus. The salmon isn't cheap, and it's only available on weekends, but I challenge you to find a better salmon anywhere else in Columbus. Worst customer service! I went in at 5:40pm on a Saturday. Apparently they closed at 6:00, seems a bit early to close on a weekend. They had no calzones or Stromboli and said they turned their ovens off so could only offer me a cold sub to heat up at home. At $10.99 a sub, no thank you. They should offer food until they close, especially at those high prices. The girls behind the counter seemed annoyed to actually have to work & serve a customer. I have heard the food is good but I will never find out as I value good customer service. I will never return. read more

Arrived at 5:50pm. Closing time at 7pm. Came for red skin potato salad but they had ran out of that. All food has been removed from cases, sitting on counters, they are cleaning the cases for closing. I odered subs and was told they can not be warmed as the ovens are off to allow them to cool before closing at 7pm. I made a mistake of not knowing how subs are made. One full loaf of bread, sliced horizontally end to end with the makings stuffed in the middle. Items alone tasted great but it is a sandwich made for a giant. Easy it would feed four people. Also got a pound of pasta salad for ten bucks, worse I have had. read more

After calling multiple times and getting different info regarding how they charge for their food, we decided to order anyways, given some good reviews from friends. We ordered over the phone and were never given a total. So when we went to pick up the food, the order total was more than expected (after adding it up based on the website prices) - we should have known I suppose given the fact that we were told multiple different things previously. When we called to resolve this issue, we were told that the prices on their website were not correct and we were charged more. The manager was not very nice and told us that if we do not want to pay a lot of money for food then we shouldn't order food from their establishment. He was rude and wouldn't let us explain - even give the fact that one person eating the food got sick (he didn't even believe us). He did give us some money back but not after being insulted for not knowing what "good" Italian food was. Well Mr. Manager - your food was not that great. The chicken marsala was over-flavored and the potatoes were oily. The fact that the marinara sauce was $12 for a quart is crazy - I could have went to the grocery store and got better sauce for half the price. The only reason I gave a star was because the pepperoni roll was actually very good but I will never go back to this place - the mediocre food was not worth the price or the hassle of dealing with the poor customer service. read more
