Orrechiette Barese

Ok nice again the service was on point. Our waiter was there to fill our glasses and needs when needed or desired. To start the meal we ordered the daily special arancini ball appetizer and my wife and friend got a house and caesar salad all of which were enjoyed. For the main course my wife and my buddies wife got the daily special Penne Pasta in Bolognese Sauce and ground sausage and LOVED it. My buddy got one of their pizzas and I got the eggplant parmesan both of which were outstanding. this restaurant remains a "keeper" and certainly is high on our "occasion" venues

Came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The Walker house is registered as a historical place so it was cool to dine inside. Make sure to make a reservation. They were short staffed so be patient and sip your wine! We ordered the branzino but I felt the sauce was a bit too strong. The pork medallions were great and the sauce there was delicious. Heard a lot of people order the calamari and it was delicious! They finally have a cocktail bar so remember to try their cocktails! Quaint and fancy atmosphere.

My family and I had a great lunch here today. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location inside the vintage Walker House is beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The family that owns and operates it are the nicest people and the food is fantastic. We all had the mozzarella fritti appetizer, eggplant parmigiana, orecchiette with sausage, and spaghetti with clams, tiramisu, coffee gelato, and cannolis; and loved everything. Sam Dimas is so lucky to have such a great Italian restaurant. The prices were fair and there is a huge parking lot in the back. Excellent service-Anthony is the best. Give it a try!

Came here for a company lunch and everything was spectacular. The food was amazing and service was excellent. We felt well taken care of and that is so greatly appreciated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a decently sized team at this restaurant so it was very nice of them to seat us in a private room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, would come back here.

So happy we finally made a visit for a birthday dinner and tour of the museum upstairs. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Charming ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Wonderful table service from Kathrine and lovely to have met the owner Kathy that served and came around to talk at the tables. Our party tried everyone else's dishes, so impressed with all the food flavors! Loved the dessert selections. Indulge in the Crema Catalana and Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake.

Had my husband's birthday dinner at Vincenzo's Terrazza and it certainly did NOT disappoint! The food is high quality, great service, the ambiance is so relaxed and nice. And their tiramisu is beyond this world delicious!

Salad Di Mare, tossed with lemon oil and olive oil.

We went for lunch. The menu serves for lunch and dinner and they do offer specials too. My Di Mare salad was very generous with the sauteed seafood of clams and mussels in their shells, calamari and shrimp. My husband remarked on how delicious and fresh the vegetables were on his pollo parmesan plate, but he was expecting more breading on the chicken ( being used to American style Chicken Parm). Service was gracious and timely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere of the historic Walker House is elegant. The decor is classic and quiet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I don't know why some people have said it looks rundown![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant owner told us she's never experienced any ghost sightings, but did show us a peephole under the beautiful staircase.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It seems a previous elderly resident visited and told a story of how a little door at the side of the stairs accessed a compartment. This is where she and her brother would hide, to view incoming guests, through a hole they drilled into the wall! Unfortunately the San Dimas Historical Museum, on the second floor, was closed when we had lunch, but it might be worth a look next time.

Prosciutto e Burrata

We came here on a Friday at 1:45 pm and we were the only table dining. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is really elegant and nice, as they played soft classical music in the back and with barely any chattering from anyone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was really nice, introducing and recommending dishes to us. I don't know how authentic their Italian dishes are, but here are some dishes that stood out to me: Orrechiette (9.5/10): a bit on the oily side, but it tastes really good with the Italian sausage and broccolini. Ravioli (9/10): I didn't know you can put beef inside ravioli until today. I always thought ravioli is filled with cheese. Starter bread (9.7/10): It is crunchy and airy at the same time. It tastes exceptionally good with the salted butter they provide. It is also free and refillable Red beets salad (8.5/10): I actually don't know the real name. I just remember the red beets taste really good. Daily special seafood (9/10): Also a bit on the oily side but their ingredients are fresh. I really love their shrimps. Tiramisu (6/10): Not the best tiramisu I had because it is more liquid. The server says they never add rum to it. Prosciutto e Burrata (8/10): I was expecting more from this dish but it tastes pretty basic. Nothing special or impressive.

My daughter and I enjoyed our lunch out. And we're always looking for a great place to come back to. And we will be back.

Born and raised in Venice, Italy. The food was amazing. The service was quality and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambience was home. It made me feel like I was in my Nonna's house.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't wait to come back with my famiglia

Margherita Pizza, Spaghetti al Vongole, delicious!!
Sunny H.

We had such a great experience at Vincenzo's Terrazza! Our server, Julian, was the sweetest! He's super friendly and personable, and he gave us a fun rundown of all the specials. We ordered the margherita pizza, spaghetti al vongole, and gnocchi special, all delicious, with amazing texture and flavor. Also, fun bonus: there's a little museum upstairs you can check out. Great conversation starter and something unique you don't usually get at a restaurant. Highly recommend for a date night. Great food and wonderful service that really makes the night. We'll definitely be back!

Vincenzo's Terrazza Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Vincenzo's Terrazza

How does a handicapped person (using a walker or wheelchair) enter the restaurant?

There is a long ramp on the right side of the restaurant (if you're facing the restaurant) that is wheelchair or walker accessible, so you can bypass the stairs.

Do they have a sit down bar?

How about gluten free vegan pasta?

Yes they do have gluten free pasta

Am I allowed to bring a bottle of wine, if yes what is the corkage fee?

Yes. I believe it's $20

Is there any pasta available that does not contain egg white? Even dried pasta? (Allergy, though minor cross contamination is okay).

We do offer a whole wheat pasta option, which does not contain any egg.

Is the pasta homemade?

It is fresh pasta! Not dried! Not made in house! I celebrated my mother with my sister today at Vincenzo's and asked our waiter. He also told me that they also have their gelato made for the restaurant. Today I had the tiramisu. Yum!

Are there any vegan or vegetarian options?

Yes, we have vegetarian AND vegan options available.

Open on Christmas day?

No, they are closed for Christmas Day.

Do they make their own pasta in house?

No it's fresh but brought in

How many restaurant.com certificates can we use in one transaction?

Restaurant.com terms only allow us to accept one certificate per table.

Is there a difference between lunch and dinner portion and pricing?

No, same price and portions on all dishes. We have one menu that we serve all day.

Does this place still offer the seared scallops in truffle sauce?

They didn't offer it but I asked and they hooked me up. It was different from the ginormous scallops from back in the days. These are smaller in size but just as delicious as it was years ago. This place is awesome you can't go wrong.

Are you still serving squid ink pasta?

Usually that dish is a special of the day. But you can always ask your server and and if we have squid ink, we would be glad to make it for you!

Are you open on Memorial Day, 5/31/2021?

No we will be closed Memorial Day. Hope to have you in another time!

Are you accepting Restaurant.com certificates right now?

Yes we are

Is there outdoor dining?

Yes, we certainly do! Vincenzo's Terrazza is keeping it's romantic flare, impeccable service and full menu lineup even outdoors. We have a beautiful secluded 20'X40' lighted area surrounded by (10) Evergreen pine trees. As well as a private table…

Do they have a corkage fee?

Yes, corkage fee is $18

We ordered the pizza, chicken parmesan, and pesto pasta, and every single dish was outstanding. The pizza was delicious, the chicken parm was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the pesto pasta was absolutely incredible. You can tell they put a lot of care into their food. What really made the experience special, though, was the kindness of the people who work there. I placed a to-go order and arrived early, expecting to just wait outside, but they welcomed me in, offered me water, and made me feel completely at home. Since I had my baby with me, they even helped carry my order out to the car. That level of genuine kindness is rare these days. Great food is one thing, but great food paired with genuinely wonderful people is what makes a place unforgettable. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for incredible Italian food and exceptional service.

I've been here quite a few times and Friday July 3rd was the first time I was highly disappointed with them. I get it, they were busy with the festivities happening down the street but I understand now why they have a help wanted sign in their window. From the time we sat down it took them well over 10 minutes to get our drinks, we had to remind them to bring our drinks, another 10 minutes from taking our drink order to even take our food order, and they came by to refill our water glasses during that time but never even bothered to ask if we wanted refills on our drinks after we had to remind them to even bring our drinks. I ordered the half and half plate and the cheese raviolis were still chewy. We all had spaghetti as the half and half comes with it and they didn't disclose to any of us that the meatballs would be extra after asking us if we wanted meatballs with our spaghetti. We just all assumed ok maybe it's included. I know it's been a bit since I've been there but so much has changed and that's kind of a bummer because I really used to enjoy them

I really enjoyed the presentation of everything, like the dishes and the lattes were very cute and aesthetic! Our waiter was also really nice and helpful with recommendations. The creaminess and cheesiness were amazing, and I'd 100% get it again! The Fettuccini Carbonara was good, but if I came back, I'd want to try something different. We sat outside right away. Service was a little slow even though they were not that busy when we got there. I think it was our server as the other servers responded quickly with orders and follow up. My carbonara was just OK. The rich tasting runny egg was cooked too long and was more like a hard boiled egg. I ended up in the corner, which was a perfect spot to enjoy the atmosphere and do a little people watching. They have a great happy hour and daily specials. The guy next to me ordered the Wagyu burger, and it looked incredible. The fries were huge quartered potatoes that looked just as good. He said everything was amazing. My server, Clint, recommended the Fidelity red blend. I'm usually a Pinot Noir drinker, but this was a great choice and paired really well with my filet and lobster tail. The steak was cooked perfectly, the lobster was excellent, and even the drawn butter was served at the right temperature. I finished with the peach tart for dessert, and it was delicious. I also met Anthony, one of the owner's sons, who was making his way around the restaurant checking on guests. Both he and Clint were friendly and attentive all evening. The whole meal was underwhelming. The lobsters served whole and uncracked were greasy and not the bright red color. They were brown and actually quite unappetizing. But the real gamer was it was nearly impossible to crack the shells. Our server could not do it; back to the kitchen where they worked for several minutes to free the meat. By the time it was brought back, the meat was cold and greasy, the potatoes were cold as was the string beans. Worse, the clarified butter was conjealed and gross. At hallowed Tutti Mangia, of all places. I wonder, will I ever order lobster again, anywhere, it was that bad, tasteless and chewy! This fiasco should be an embarrassment to Tutti Mangia, and a bill of over $300, which we expected, but a dinner we sure did not expect.
