Vince's has always been my favorite spaghetti so I was excited to go back and try a new location (for me because I usually go to the one off foothill). This restaurant is the original Vince's and I can see why. The customer service is amazing! Our waitress was great at serving us by filling our drinks and making sure we needed anything. Okay, the fact that their meatballs and spaghetti were just outstandingly amazing! Gave this 5 stars... But 4 overall because of how clean they were. This area they can definitely improve on. Lifetime lover of Vince's. It is a local mainstay. All of the locations I have visited have the same menu and all are just as good. Growing up in the area we have been coming here for at lest 39 Years. Now My family comes here at lest once a month. But tonight was so upsetting! We were waiting for over 20 minutes in the parking lot. They open at 4:00pm and we are lined up by the front door. I had to use the restroom, due to medication that I'm on. So we are in there and it's 3:57 I'm knocking on the glass, as if there is a fire! The place inside is packed with people they are looking at me in the eye, but refuse to come to the door to see what is wrong. A very nice gentleman that was there, said there is another door around the side. So I go in open the door and beg someone to help me. This wonderful lady told me to go ahead. I could hear her get yelled at to not help me. I was in a desperate way too. After I was done I went into the restaurant, asked to talk to the manager. Told him about my experience, how the ladies at the counter just stood there looking at me. How embarrassing it was for me. But it could have been more embarrassing if I lost my control all over the entrance. He just looked at me, said sorry. But I could not tell how sincere he was. They open the doors after 4:00 sometimes, and reuse to open until 4 on the dot. I understand that they have a policy, yet compassion and costumer service should come first. I'm Italian American so I don't review Italian places much esp living west coast now. I usually feel disappointed and can cook most dishes at home anyway. Nevertheless, I feel bad writing this review. I was looking for an old school reminder of my childhood and came across Vince's. It definitely brought back mix of more bad than good memories. First off the smell walking in was horrendous. Not like stale old Asiago, which I half expected, but more like Porto potty. I probably shouldn't have, but I asked, and no one else but my husband and I seemed to be bothered by it. I think after a while you just get used to it. The restaurant looks like a Knights of Columbus hall, dark, dingy, wood paneling. That for sure brought back memories, but that's part of the charm. The jumping gnats on my table not so much though. The place needs a cleaning, restoration. And probably updated HVAC..but I understand times are tight and not worth it. Ordered Chianti, I'm sure it was Carlo Rossi..nice throwback. The spaghetti sauce just could have been so much better. Salad was bad, but dressing had good flavor. The veg soup was good. I was surprised not to see minestrone or escarole on menu, Just some suggestions, I think it also would be nice if they added some theme elements to the dining experience..like red glass candles to the tables, fresh grated pecorino Romano, crushed red pepper, infused olive oil and fresh bread to start. A little Sinatra in the background, cannoli, cappuccino, limoncello, confetti almonds. Maybe even have theme nights like bingo. They have a great space to build on. The service was decent. Listen.....if you want a DAMN GOOD plate of spaghetti this is the place. It's the kind of serving you can get all hot and bothered about if you are jonesing for a carb-coma. Like showing up to Bangkok ready to lose your virginity. Everything is delicious. I sat by myself, after being on Keto for 6 months.....wanting to get all freaky and such with those noodles. OMG was I in for it. Ordered the full plate of spaghetti, some garlic bread and a water....cuz I don't need the empty calories. The waitress looked at me like I had done lost my damn mind. ONE POUND of spaghetti with a damn good sauce showed up. Two pieces of perfectly grilled buttery garlic bread. I covered that pasta with TWO complete shakers of REAL grated Parmesan.....the heroin of Italy. 45 minutes later my pants are ready to burst, not from the boner I had over this delicious pasta, but from the pound of noodles in my gut. I started slipping into the carb-coma....but needed another hit.....one more bump. I went for a piece of tiramisu and it took me over the edge. I could feel the deep happiness rush over me. Was there the second time in 5 years. This second time was nowhere like what I remembered. Had an old musty odd smell throughout the restaurant. We were there around noon. Ordered spaghetti dinner which came with soup and salad. Quality not that great and did not taste all that good. I remember it being much better a few years back. We won't be back. read more

Ahhh Vince's... I have been going here since I was a young girl. My family and I have always loved this place. I have had their food at Chino High School's 77th Cavalry (marching band) events and it's still good even in mass quantities! What's Exceptionally Delicious: -Meat sauce (flavorful in general and in that greasy good kind-of way) -Garlic bread -Dressing (ranch, and even the oil and vinegar is intensely delicious) -Chocolate chip cheese cake! The price is more of a $ rather than a $$ in my opinion. I believe you get a huge platter (which could easily be split by 2 people) of spaghetti, soup and salad, AND garlic bread for $10! Why I sadly could not give 5 stars: -The place is dark, can get loud, and isn't the most romantic atmosphere. I have been occasionally coming to Vince's in Ontario on and off for 20+ years and until today I have been satisfied with their reasonably priced, "decidedly average" spaghetti dinners. I ordered their takeout dinner tonight and as usual, I upgraded from a medium soup and a medium meat sauce, to large sizes for both, along with a couple of meatballs, and a pint of provolone cheese. I was shocked to find my total owed for this takeout order was just over $41.00, as it usually topped out at approx. $30.00. Since the last time in Vince's, they have raised their complete dinner for two takeout price to just under $21.00, which helps explain some of this sizable cost increase. I then asked for a copy of my receipt, and I discovered that when I upgraded from medium to large orders for the soup and meat sauce, I was not charged the listed up-size (medium to large) price, but instead, I was required to pay for the additional pint price, resulting in approx. $5.00 of overcharges. I respectfully discussed this overcharge to my order taker, but she insisted that she had charged me correctly. I then asked for a manager, and I was introduced to Omari. Omari also insisted that they do not give their customer's the benefit of the listed lower price for up-sizing from a pint to a quart, but instead they consistently charge at the significantly higher additional pint price. Of course, when my order arrived, they had not given me the additional soup and meat sauce in two additional pint containers, but instead provided two quart size containers, which has a listed price that is significantly lower than pint prices. I am a business manager, and I would not treat my loyal customers that way. Omari politely suggested that I should speak to Frank, but he was not in the restaurant at the time. The result for me is that I will likely not be visiting this store again, as I sincerely raised a legitimate point (customers being overcharged), and I was not satisfied with the management's response implying that it was right because that is the way we do it! Fortunately, there is suitable competition available, including a very good family-style Italian restaurant, a mile or two south, just below the 60 Freeway. I hope that Vince's made an honest mistake today, when they overcharged me for my takeout order, and if not, then I hope they will consider rectifying the situation, by correcting the way they charge up-sized orders for their loyal takeout customers. read more

So I really wanted spaghetti and this place didn't disappoint. I took pictures of the take out order because I wasn't sure how they pack it. The noodles are separate from the sauce so I thought one large wasn't going to be a lot but I was wrong. I ordered 3 large spaghetti (2 meat sauce and 1 tomato sauce), one lasagna, 4 meatballs and 6 garlic breads for a Family of 5. We had an entire container of spaghetti left and the sauce that's pictured...very generous portion. My family (husband and 3 picky kids) loved it. They said they would want to come back. My family and I went on a Tuesday afternoon. There was nobody there so we were seated fast. The decorations of the restaurant were outdated. The salad was a little dry but neatly served. I got the spaghetti plate with garlic bread. BOMB! I loved the garlic bread I low key wanted to order more but I refrained. The sauce is different. It has like a sour flavor to it. We've been ordering take out from Vince's for about 5 years now and every time we visit the staff is alway very nice. Even now that they are swamped with customers and short staffed they are still very patient, professional and kind.
