Went to the Vineyard for Sunday brunch with some friends. We had made a reservation so we were seated promptly. Our server Alfred was phenomenal. He provided great service from the time we were seated to the time we left. Our food came out of the kitchen quickly. Everyone was happy with the taste and temperature of the food and our drinks were always full. Can't say enough good things about Alfred. He's awesome at his job! He made sure that we were taken care of and even was able to quickly divide the check up and get us cashed out easily. First and LAST time. Went for their bottomless mimosas for a friend's birthday today. Not sure why bottomless mimosas aren't listed on their menu, but it was a bummer to find out that there's a time limit. What made the "mimosa experience" really crappy was the fact that servers took long to bring us refills. I asked (very politely) if they could bring out two mimosas at a time (so I could get my money's worth) and they said no. WTF?? Food was okay, but a bit overpriced. When we asked for the check, our server never printed us out a receipt and he just stood over our table with a handheld credit card machine. Also, he included his gratuity into our check. SMH... I don't recall if it was 18% or 20%, but is that normal? Mind you, we were a party of 6. Like, isn't gratuity included when it's a larger party??? read more

Food is great. Service was friendly and prompt. In town for vacation and came here twice now. Italian spinach omelet and it was so good. The red potato's and buttermilk pancakes were just right. Light seasoning on potato's and pancakes fluffy but not the kind that stick to the roof of your mouth. Have to admit... they hooked us in w/ their ads for Bottomless mimosas on Facebook!!! Place is a little small and loud inside and it was a sunny Sunday afternoon so we chose to sit on the patio!!! Waiter was very nice to sit us very quickly and take our drink order.... Ordered the bottomless... to be told no alcohol is allowed on the patio!!!!Waiter offered to sit us inside but we didn't want to wait so we ordered food!!! It came very quick! And was tasty! A little expensive for eggs!!! But good! And quick!! We shared the waffle... she had the pastrami Benedict... and I had the heathy veggie omelette will not get it with the "SWISS chesse " next time.... cheese was weird piled right off!!?? After looking into different breakfast spots to try out, my boyfriend and I decided to try this place as it was rumored to be good. Immediately upon going, we noticed it was busy (Super Bowl Sunday, no surprise) but we were immediately taken to a seat upon arrival. It was a bustling restaurant with families seated enjoying meals and natural lighting from the windows showing the outside. Our server, Alfred, was absolutely amazing. He was patient when we needed some time to pick what we wanted to eat, and offered a combo instead of just pancakes to get more bang for our buck. My boyfriend and I love to share hot coffee, and so Alfred left a little coffee pot at our table so we could refill whenever we desired to. Even when passing, he would refill our coffee cup with the pot for us! Amazing service from him. The food was very good, although I would not recommend the pumpkin pancakes; they had a bitter aftertaste and were not very enjoyable. The omelette and hash browns were great, and the sausage had a slight spicy taste. Chocolate chip pancakes were wonderful too. If based on food and the tightness of seating (we were sat arm length away from another group), I would have given this spot 4 stars. Due to Alfred's phenomenal service and performance, I give it a five star overall! He made up for that missing star with his exceptional personal dedication to making it a good experience. read more

Such an awesome all-day breakfast find in Oxnard. The server/host (wasn't able to get his name!) was so nice as we got in. He seated us quickly too! He gave good recommendations for food choices as well (being the very indecisive self that I am) He even let me taste the soup of the day (if I ordered 1dish, I would've ordered more!) Hubs got the porkchop and eggs and I got the cheese blintzes plus cornedbeef hash. They were the bomb! The chops were tasty and tender and the hashbrown was crisp. The cheese blintzes ---OMG. Warm melting cream cheese filling with fresh cut strawberries! My cornedbeef has is crisp (again, If I ordered only one dish I probably would've finished this) -- I boxed my leftovers to go tho! Everything about this place is fantastic. The food is so good here. You can tell they are using high-quality ingredients. I had the steak omelette with the lingonberry crepes. The omelette was great, and the steak has just enough spice to not need salsa. When it came to the crepes, it was the best crepe I've ever had hands down, and I highly recommend it when you go. This is the kind of brunch spot that you come back to over and over to try different menu items. You'll find your meal and become a regular. It's that good, and it's the right kind of local friendly business. Speaking of friendly, the staff is nice and attentive. Overall, Vineyard is a great place to feed a family or a group gathering. First time trying this place out and the food was delicious. I had wonderful service from Alfred who also made a a few recommendations on which plates to try out. He recommended that I should try the chicken ranch avocado with the side of french fries. WOW! Delicious! The ambience was very welcoming, great outdoor seating, and the inside was very clean. We were traveling and found this place on yelp. Very cute bright and airy inside. The staff greeted us right away and seated us. It was in the afternoon after the lunch hour rush. They have a huge parking lot in the back and parking is free. Even though the servers were very attentive and very good the food was very mediocre. My wife ordered vegetables omelet. That was very good and fresh too. Vegetables weren't over cooked, very tasty and fresh.
