Only been here one time previously and I remember it was good! Just came here this past week and fell in love all over again. The customer service was awesome, everyone was so friendly, helpful and quick. The food was delicious, very flavorful, very well done and they have mimosas! Bottomless too The ambiance is exactly as it says, it is a café with café vibes, nothing too fancy nothing too small just right and you can sit outside if need be. We ordered chicken and waffles as well as the tuna melt with fries this time and both were delicious and actually pretty filling. The fries are cut differently which is cute, the tuna melt was pretty big (bigger than what it looks like in the pic) and the chicken and waffles, were chicken tenders. At first, we were skeptical it wasn't fried bone in chicken but the tenders were yummy so all was well. Definitely plan to come back. Definitely recommended!! read more

My friends & I visited on a Friday morning. It was a little hard to tell if they were open as the visible outside doors were barricaded - the entrance was actually on the side of the building. It was a hoppin' place and we grabbed the last indoor table (lots of outdoor dining was available). Our service was quick & friendly. The staff was busy & working hard as our order was ready really quickly. I opted for their California Scramble which was good - the hash browns were perfectly prepared. Their coffee was good & while they had mimosas at the ready, we chose not to try them. I've been hearing so much about this spot and finally had a chance to try it out. I've been to their sister location in Moorpark and they're a good time for brunch as well. Food here was mediocre for me. I love the fact that they offer fresh juice for the mimosas though ! We ordered : Benedict Florentine was a bit of a disappointment and bland. Wasn't so bad to where I felt I needed to return it so I just powered through it. The English muffin and tomatoes were all mush . While out and about we wanted to see what all the hype was about for Vineyard cafe that's I've seen on Yelp and heard others talking about. Since it was a mellow Friday decided it was a good day. After walking in got total Baja Fresh vibes with a lot of the inside utilizing the old booths and paint on the walls, splashed salsa as well. The food was "mid" nothing out of this world. The spicy chicken sandwich was pre made chicken fried and dunked in a buffalo sauce, the bun was very good on the other hand a brioche style bun fresh and soft. The chub sandwich was lacking deli meats for being $20 and the onion rings were overly greasy like the oil was not hot enough when they were dropped. I still remember when this placed opened up by our house, I told myself I was not going to try it until at least six months have gone by. I wanted to see if it was going to make it before I spend any money patronizing this business. Sure enough, I think a year went by before I decided to stop and try their selection of Breakfast delicacies. As a whole it is a decent place to grab breakfast, not on the amazing level but more on the comfort scale than anything else. It is a great place to stop by and enjoy and breakfast if you don't feel like cooking. In general I find it really hard to pay for simple breakfast, you know eggs, pancakes, etc. I rather just make that stuff at home. But, from time to time, you are sometimes busy and a place like this comes in handy for a nice breakfast/brunch if you are in the area. I have never been one to embrace change, and our very recent meal at Vineyard Cafe is proof of that. When we walked in, I noticed a nearby table had this huuuuuuuuuge, oversized glass, filled with an equally huge amount of mimosa mixture, along with 4 really, really tall straws. I thought, oh cool, and then I thought, gee, that's new. I've never seen that in all the times we had previously been here. Next, when the waiter handed us shiny, new menus, I thought to myself, wait, are these NEW menus or just cleaned up? No, they were brand new, as in... changes made to their old menu. Changes to the tune of out with SOME of the old dishes, and in with SOME new ones. Naturally, the dishes they discontinued were ALL ones that my husband and I ordered... EVERY TIME. Drat. That's unnecessary change, and change that we didn't like AT ALL. We aren't mimosa drinkers, so we would never order one of those fun-looking drinks... but I think it's more about an instagrammable moment, and of course, drinking it, and we had fun watching the people have to literally stand up each time to reach the straws in order to drink from that. I enjoyed all that, but I didn't enjoy the fact that my FAVORITE dishes were removed, AND I had plenty of trouble settling on another dish. To say that I was UNDERwhelmed is an UNDERstatement. I ended up ordering 2 scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, and blueberry pancakes... and yes, they tasted fine, but they were also nothing spectacular. What's gone are their SIGNATURE cinnamon pancakes, and if you've had them, you KNOW. You know those were freaking AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING, but they're GONE now. WHY??? They also removed their ITALIAN scramble (what my husband used to get) and their ITALIAN OMELETTE, which I used to get.... and let me tell you, BIG BIG MISTAKE. We loved them. I have NO idea why any of those items are gone. They also removed and replaced other items, but since I never ordered them, I can't speak to those... but I'm sure they would've been things I wouldn't want removed. Murphy's Law and all. By the way, we asked if we could still order off the old menu and were told no ! Bottom line is, we walked away full, and yes, the food was good, so reason enough for 3 stars, but it was definitely a disappointment, and we were bored with the choices. Not really sure if we'll bother to come back now that their unique dishes are gone. We can get boring eggs, hash browns and pancakes a number of other places and much closer to home. read more

The chilaquiles were extremely bland - minimal cheese, no sauce, and egg on top (though I will say the eggs were good!). The side potatoes were better than the main meal. The pastrami Benedict was better, but the pastrami was missing some flavor and would've been better with a hollandaise sauce than the gravy. They do offer bottomless mimosas with multiple juice options. Their juices were delicious with fresh-squeezed OJ, delicious strawberry, and pineapple as options. It's a bit expensive, so if you're only going to drink one or two, you might be better off just ordering them separately. The mimosas are delicious, though. Staff are very friendly, and the restaurant is lively. Based on the food, I don't think I'd return unless a group of friends were going that I wanted to spend time with. read more

They have sweet or savory crepes while the pancakes are thick & huge. I'm here for the mimosas. You can order a single glass or several. If you plan to have more than one mimosa, I suggest you get bottomless mimosas. For 90 minutes you can choose the following mimosa flavors: cranberry juice, pineapple juice, strawberry & fresh squeezed orange juice daily. Just remember to hydrate & drink lots of water. Each visit I've been here, I've had a different server but a great experience. Whether it was super busy or if we just missed the rush. Good Food & Great service!... The Chilaquiles are not authentic at all and the club sandwich was okay and the fries were sort of tasty, but the prices again are not worth it.
