When I inquired more specifically, I learned that those were not "the Dubai chocolates." I appreciate the sales associate's honesty. They have a plethora of wall hangings. It is quite impressive the sayings they have on some of their wall hangings. If you are looking for some unique hearts for Valentine's day, Sugarboo is your go to place. The staff is southern hospitality friendly. They welcome any questions and if you are looking for something specifically, they will let you know exactly where it is in the store. This store is very affordable. Importantly, it has unique items that you will not find in every store you frequent.

From pillows to placemats to notepads to candles to sweaters and shirts and comforters and pet items. Oh my! This store has so many fun products that are great gift giving ideas at reasonable prices. I visited from California on a work trip and super bummed I didn't bring a bigger suitcase because I would've bought so many gifts to give. I believe this store is female owned, and have store locations throughout the south. Their staff is sweet and accommodating, and every gift comes with a beautiful gift wrapping that's complementary. They have plenty of parking as they are part of a mall and there is tons of parking stalls. Can't wait to come back and visit this store on my next work trip. It will definitely be on my list of things to do when I visit Austin, Texas and in the mood for shopping.

The Domain is now a sought-after destination - where shopping (casual and high-end), dining, night life and other fun experiences converge. You can go shopping, meet a friend for happy hour, or do something completely fun and adventurous in the course of the day or evening. One of my Finance groups hosts a monthly Finance meeting at The Domain. Shopping...some of my favorite fun stores are at the Domain such as J. Crew and Anthropologie. I love these two stores because they have unique goods at great prices, in general, and specifically, have amazing sales. If you are a big baller, you can shop at stores like Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Tiffany's and whole host of other high stores. I'm a tiny baller. Smile. Dining - At the Domain you can get reasonably priced foods to high end fare. Some of my favorite places to dine in the Domain include Glorias, Flower Child, Paul Martin's and Haywire. Important to note, most restaurants have great happy hours and associated amazing prices. Nightlife - Some say that The Domain (especially on Rock Rose Avenue) is the new 6th Street (known for its bars and Live music). I would not venture out that far. However, if you want to party in the wee hours of the night, you can do it at The Domain. Fun Experiences - You can transport yourself to fun such as IPIC movie theatre, Museum of Illusion or the Battle of the Games. Last weekend I discovered the Barkin Creek Dog Kitchen & Bath...so, The Domain is not only for humans. Love The Domain...I am sure I will see you there!

Outdoor mall with lots of popular stores like Neiman Marcus, Lululemon, Alo, Anthropologie, Bath & Body, Aritizia, and many more! An exclusive store that you can find here is the Coach Coffee Shop - there are only 2 in the US (New Jersey & Austin)! A lot of the retail staff are friendly and there seems to be stuff going on during the holidays, so definitely check it out. Also, lots of parking garages.

But every so often we get some chilly weather and a taller sock is necessary. As I walked around to see all the styles, sport, and cashmere, and so on, I settled with half calf style. I did notice that 2 of the 3 I bought said men's, and the one I got said women's. But they look the same just a different color. Also I noticed they didn't have medium sizes in a lot of their styles. They were either small or large and X-large. The 3 I got were all mediums. Whether they're men's or women's, they were still the same size. Love my socks. I highly recommend Bombas socks. I little hug for your feet.

I have started to actually try to put together outfits and good ole fast fashion Zara has helped me get into it while not absolutely breaking the bank. This is the first time I've come to this Zara since the remodel and the space feels so much more open now. Almost too open where it feels like you have to wander so far to find anything. It's significantly cleaner and organized than in the past. I got a few things and when I checked out, they have that new autocheckout system where you drop it all in a box and it somehow knows what you got. I'm not the biggest fan of that system, but it's better than waiting in a disastrous line. Shoutout ZARAMAN for having some cool clothes for me. Every time I come here, no matter if it's a weekday or the weekend, there's always a long line that makes you really not want to buy anything to stand in the long lines. The selection at this store is nowhere as nice as other Zara's. The fitting rooms are also always closed so you're even more reluctant to buy anything. Too bad this is the only Zara in Austin.
