Iam from NJ and work NY have eaten at the best pizza joints in Brooklyn and NY...moved to Wayne in may...have eaten pizza in many NJ and NY pizza places. i have to say...the best pizza in NJ can compete with any Brooklyn joint....perfect...and quick delivery . Thier Special sandwich GREAT. The salads GREAT ( i recommend the Cesar salad with chicken...The steak and cheese sandwich the real thing not steakumms ( but order with the works)... this is real meat!!!!!! Vinni's has excellent whole wheat pies that do not differ in taste than the white crust! They also have amazing grilled chicken salads.. for the amount of food, the price is definitely worth it! read more

I tried this place years ago didn't care for it to greasy gave them another try last month still greasy very very greasy so bad in fact it soaked through the bottom and top of the box and cold and very salty crust was so thin it had holes in parts they had to see but ignored we threw it in the garbage it was so bad ill never order from here again read more

This is your classical family-owned pizzeria. Vinni's may not have the nicest setting, but their pizza makes up for it. I've been going here since high school and the biggest problems I've had was that the pizza was too greasy and oily. It seems like they have fixed this problem. My favorite is the BBQ Chicken; they recently added bacon to the slice! The garlic sticks are way better than Anthony Franco's garlic knots. If you're looking for authentic pizza in Wayne, Vinni's is the place to go. I'd also advise to order for pickup instead of delivery, as they get backed up on busy nights which is understandable. read more

Ordered a large plain cheese pie at 5:30 PM, the delivery estimate was for 6:30 PM. 7 PM rolls around and nothing yet, call the store and they tell me it's out for delivery. 8 PM rolls around and nothing yet, call the store again and they not only tell me it looks like no one put the order in, but that the kid who I spoke with on the phone was just trying to cover for the mistake. Vinni's is the best pizza I've had since I came to North Jersey. The crust is ACTUALLY THIN (which nobody gets right anymore, so it's very impressive), the sauce is nice, and the pie's not gooping with truckloads of cheese or dripping in oil like so many other places make it. Nice little pizza joint. The interior reminds me of pizza places of yesteryear. There are numerous types of slices available to keep even the worst critics happy. Haven't tried the dinners, but they looked delicious and served with a full load of bread. Don't live near here, so unlikely to be back... But, if you're in the area sometime...give it a shot!! I would give them average or below. We have tried a few pizza places around the area and they are okay here. They put many many toppings on for sure (which is good), but they don't always get cooked all the way. Toppings also fall off when trying to eat the pizza which makes for a messy and non pleasant pizza experience. Taste was good but the price was too much for what we got. read more

Not like pizza town or Macks. prices are good especially on mussles. they have an perfect location, i think thats why they are so busy, but i laugh when people think its the "best" pizza around. try kinchleys, pizza town, or brunos square pie in clifton if you wanna have truly great pizza! read more

Their pizzas are good. I don't know about their other menu items. They have RC Cola on tap. And they use ice chips, not ice cubes.

Vinni's has been a longtime favorite of my coworkers and mine. I've had their Margherita, BBQ chicken, a few custom pies, and especially Vinni's homemade panini. Until recently, their food has been fantastic, however our past few orders have been sub-par. Their popular homemade panini, which is advertised to be made with arugula, has been replaced with cheap shredded lettuce for our past 3 meals. If you've had this panini before, you'll understand that replacing arugula with shredded lettuce completely throws it off. I used to be a huge fan of the BBQ chicken pizza and eggplant pizza, but they started putting less and less meat/eggplant on the slices, to the point where I can't justify paying the price for a premium slice. Sadly, I don't see my coworkers and I ordering anytime soon unless Vinni's reverts to its original practices. read more

First the service was terrible. Then they put fries in with my mozzarella sticks in the deep fryer same bin. Then proceed to use their fingers to sift through the fries and pull out my mozzarella sticks and the side of vodka sauce was cold like straight frim the fridge. Also the slices were very greasy and the garlic sticks tasted like cardboard. 10/10 will not be going back. read more

I love their pizza, generally, but it really varies on who's making it for the day. It's a thin crust. A regular pie is fairly cheesy so extra cheese is overkill. The mussels are really good as well. They use the green shelled New Zealand mussels, which don't have that sometimes funky taste of black mussels. You get 12 large mussels in a sweet or hot sauce, but I have to say about half of the time they give me hot when I asked for sweet. Antipasto salad is OK. Pretty average. I always feel these are overpriced. Meatball sandwiches are pretty good. Not an overly spiced meatball, which I hate. Tried the pasta fagioli soup once. It was awful. Sour. Wasn't sure if they had been thawed from frozen, if it had gone bad, or if they simply make a bad soup. Dining in there is terrible. There are only fixed position tables, and these tables are tiny. The decor looks like it's been the same for 50 years. They need an interior overhaul. Basically, if you want a pizza to take out, this is your place. If you want to dine in, think again, unless you want to squeeze into a fixed position 4-person table. If you want Italian entrees there are other places to try instead. read more

The pizza isn't great it's too greasy and doesn't taste flavorful at all. The cheesesteaks are ok but good luck ordering they are either rude or you can't understand what they are saying. I mean if your going to have a business and want customers to come back at least have a friendly staff that look happy to take and want your service. read more

The pizza is vey salty. The inside dinning tables are not cleaned and sticky. I was told they had good pizza but when I got there I wasn't impressed. If you like tangy salty really salty pizza then you will like this place. read more
