    Bunny Yoga

What a great concept! Vino + Vinyasa has a large interior space where they serve food and drinks. They have a great selection of wine available by the glass or for purchase by the bottle. I loved seeing Union Sacre on the menu, a great producer from Paso. Beyond a restaurant and a place for gatherings, you can rent their space for events, they also have a yoga studio with a weekly schedule of classes. The space was serene and calm. Something that stood out to me was that the yoga studio did not have any mirrors. I came specifically for bunny yoga hosted by the San Diego House Rabbit Society. The bunny yoga class was so much fun. It was light on the yoga and heavy on the rabbit cuddles, which is exactly how I wanted it. It was such a fun event and so so cute! The class came with a complimentary drink at the bar and my friend and I enjoyed staying for a while to chat and enjoy. Parking in the area is easy and accessible.

My first time at Vinya was last night for their Halloween trivia in October 2023. My friend and I love trivia and wanted to do something for Halloween but we wanted something lowkey. When we found Vinya's event we were so in! We arrived a little early and there were already teams in costume all setup at tables. We found a spot near the bar, ordered food, and got up and got wine at the bar. I really liked their wine selection. (I used to drink a lot of wine at Wine Steals - miss them; and this venue reminds me a lot of Wine Steals.) The Trivia MC was great! She was so engaging and funny. The horror trivia started and it was going well...then she threw in a total multi-question curveball and we did better than we thought we would. We went through three or four rounds of trivia building up points and getting more and more competitive. We were in third for the last round and she asked a go big or go home question...WE GOT IT RIGHT! We took 2nd place and a couple of good prizes and felt accomplished for the evening. It was a really good time. Haven't been back for trivia but have been back for wine. The space is just really inviting. Go, sit, and drink wine.

Such a warm and welcoming spot! The wine, the energy, the vibe--everything was amazing. I'll definitely be a regular here. Can't wait to try one of their yoga classes as well as their sip and paint. The owners were lovely and had such a positive, genuine presence. Perfect for girls night, date night, even a solo night out

I hosted my monthly book club here for 8 people and it was absolutely perfect! Victoria and Patrick were super nice, professional, snd went above and beyond to make it an amazing experience! Highly recommend for any and all social events: book club, networking, mixers, you name it!

This store is right next to The Noble Chef (豪記私房菜). I came here on Thursday night to attend Tap's event and discovered this place. It's actually very spacious and quiet inside. The menu is full of healthy food. Because of its large space, it makes people feel very comfortable. It's very suitable for chatting with friends or having a big gathering.

We came here for Trivia night (Tuesdays), and it was so much fun. The place is huge so it allows for bigger groups to hang out. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. There are a lot of picnics tables, some bar seating, and then a few tables for smaller groups. On each table are cool air plants, and the place really has a casual and fun feel. I had the baked Brie and it was amazing! Everyone in my group loved the food and drinks they got. Also, we didn't go to yoga since we were doing trivia, but my friends in the group had been here for yoga before and said it was great.

I had never been to Vino +Vinyasa before. Specifically, last night I was there to attend a "pop-up" dinner put on by Chef Coral Strong, from there Gareden Kitchen in Rolando [now closed]. The Vinyasa sommelier, Gerson, was very informative He was knowledgeable about the wines on the list and had personally selected them himself. I drank a Rhone wine on the day of my visit, which was unfamilar to me but which I enjoyed. As always with Coral Strong, the food was superb. There was a complex Caesar Salad, Spanish Meatballs with wild Shrimp and a lucious pot de crème topped with a marigold blossom. Bravo!

Wow! If you haven't been, what are you waiting on? Location is easy to find, has great parking and is in a well lit area. Victoria and Patrick are welcoming and the space is plenty big with booth, table and bar seating. Now to the good stuff....the food and wine! The menu has a unique blend of light and earthy dishes. With the size being perfect for sharing a bite or splitting with the table, it's hard to go wrong with the carefully curated menu. To quench your thirst, share a glass (or bottle) of various wines from around the world; aged and a perfect complement to baked Brie or the brisket sandwich - YUM! Not an enthusiast, chat with Patrick or Victoria, they may convince you otherwise (or at least tempt you); otherwise, there are some nice beer on tap, and ice cold coke products! But wait there's more....Vinya hosts events! Check out the monthly calendar for daily Yoga sessions (that's right, they have a private yoga studio located to the side of the restaurant) - what a great date day / night activity or an outing with friends. Vinya supports local artists with their live music and a gift shop offering various gifts including cards, clothing, home decor, yoga wear, artwork and more. Seeing a business so eager to engage the community is special, and Vinya is just that - a special place to meet, eat and decompress. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

Baked Brie (dried figs, walnuts, honey, mint, and brie on a hot playe) -- best I've ever had!

I came on a Sunday noon. It was quiet, but peaceful. There were healthy brunch options with amazing plating. My partner and I tried their baked brie, pesto chicken sandwich, and brisket hash. Baked brie was the bomb -- best I've ever had! Amazing balance of nuts, figs, and sweet and savory tastes. Pesto chicken sandwich used tomato bits and FRESH PESTO!!! Felt loaded with good nutrients and flavor. We meet Patrick and Victoria, our server and chef couple who owned the establishment. It was cool to hear how they wanted to give back to the local community by adding what it didn't already have -- a yoga and crafts center with a brunch flair. They have a small section that sells goods from local creators and artists in Clairemont Mesa -- be sure to check it out! I got an awesome birthday card with a sunset print.

Noticed this unusual blend of wine and yoga awhile ago since it's in the same complex as the magical massage spa. Finally had a great reason to try when friends suggested as the place to get together and catching up. I had a flight of rose wines to start off while the other ladies had prosecco and Chardonnay. We shared several dishes as well. The charcuterie board was beautiful and tasty. It was fairly quiet in mid-afternoon on Friday but more people trickled in as well as people having a glass of wine after yoga class. Very nice atmosphere and interesting wine selections to choose from.

Huge huge space for dining! I do hope that more people come to try the grub and wine. Classes wise, I have taken a vinyasa flow class and a yoga-pilates type of class. Both were fantastic. The yoga room has a very pretty mural, is also equipped with things like blocks and blankets. The Happy Hour Flow class with Joel was fun and I worked up a bit of a sweat. Food/drink wise, I highly recommend the brisket sando. 48hr smoked brisket on a soft roll and with a red pepper dip that added some heat, super good. Come for happy hour (4-6pm) and get $2 off a glass of wine, or $6 for beer

Definitely one of the most carefully crafted yoga studios I have ever been to. You sort of feel like you've been transported to somewhere in Southeast Asia. I love that there are heat lamps, blankets, and other accessories for use during the class. Although, the space is epic I didn't really find enjoyment in the class. It was supposed to be a relaxing low impact yoga class focusing on slow movements but I didn't really feel that at all. The instructor was nice but I found her transitions were confusing and sometimes didn't make sense. She wasn't really saying the name of the poses either. To me the instructions felt like I was taking a Pilates class. We were also holding the poses in my opinion way too long to the point I was actually feeling pain. And some poses were really advanced and didn't make me feel relaxed at all. I personally do not like it when there are lyrics in the music when I do yoga. Although it was more mellow indie songs I found it extremely hard to focus and it was kind of loud too. I would prefer just non lyrical relaxing music. At least for the part where we just sit/lay down towards the end. In summary, I don't think I would come back. I am used to donation based yoga around San Diego. If you want more traditional yoga I would just stick to the free classes around town.
