Okay, now onto the dirty chai that I ordered. I asked (when I asked about the floral notes that I was tasting) if they made their own chai in house and the woman told me that they in fact did. She also mentioned that I got the end of the house-made batch so what I was tasting might be different from a normal order. I thought this was quite interesting and this was another unique beverage, despite being a staple at many coffee shops. Would I order it again? Probably not but it was good! Their matcha has achieved the delicate balance of bitter and sweetness - how a matcha should taste. As someone who doesn't like the bitterness in matcha, their drink is "perfectly balanced, as all things should be" (Thanos). There are many variations of matcha - grassy, sweet, bitter, but their drink captures all the profiles into your cup. I hope they expand in Texas!

The little coffee corner is super cute and their goal is to turn the space into a bar (at night) in a few months. I love the aesthetics inside the shop...every detail, every corner. There was a long line that moved surprisingly quickly and had shade so well worth it. Service was super friendly and efficient with two registers open that helped move the line along and not a long wait for drinks despite the small truck they were operating out of. I was intrigued by the iced white miso matcha with orange blossom though after tasting it, I thought I ordered a regular matcha latte - I couldn't detect any white miso nor orange blossom. Since orange blossom can be overpowering, I did still appreciate that the matcha flavor was solid. It had sounded so unique though, I was hoping to taste the balanced flavors. That aside, it's better than most matcha lattes I've gotten elsewhere. The hot matcha latte was solid and I loved the hojicha latte as well.
