She told me that because my hair had purple and red tones, it would be more challenging, but she assured me she could achieve the look. I trusted her, especially since I wanted my hair done for my birthday. During the appointment, she had an assistant working on my hair who clearly seemed inexperienced. I was never asked if I was comfortable with the assistant doing part of the service. I understood everyone has to learn, so I didn't say anything. When my hair was finished, I was disappointed. It came out much darker than what I had asked for and looked nothing like my inspiration photo. To her credit, Alexis acknowledged it was too dark and offered to redo it free of charge. I went back for the correction. Before she started, I asked about the highlights because I couldn't see any. She told me they would still show, but even after the redo, there were still no visible highlights, and the final result was still far from what I had requested. I don't like arguing or making a scene, so I accepted it and left. However, I'm extremely disappointed that I spent over $400 and didn't receive the hair color I was promised. Now I have to pay another salon to fix it. Based on my experience, I can't recommend this salon. If a stylist isn't confident they can achieve a specific look, it's better to be honest from the beginning rather than promise something that can't be delivered.

I had always gone to barbers, so I was a bit dubious about getting my hair cut at a salon. George is way better than any barber. I don't know how he does it, but my hair still looks good as it grows out, and I don't need to do much to make it presentable before going out. I have some severe cowlicks around the crown of my head, and if cut poorly it looks like I'm balding (or maybe I'm actually balding and George is great at protecting my ego). Either way, George takes care of this with the way he cuts my hair. He'll analyze the way your hair grows and cut it to work for you. If you're losing your hair, George is skilled enough to cut it so that it looks good anyway. If you want advice on how to stop hair loss and maybe grow it back, George is very knowledgeable and will be happy to dish out some advice while he cuts your hair. Obviously it's more expensive than a barber, but the quality is so much better that it's actually a superior bargain in my opinion. And it's way better than buzzing your own hair and putting a stupid hat on.

I was very clear and wanted to keep my length. Right from the start, the stylist I believe her name was Bianca older gal. With salt and pepper hair. She began cutting my hair while it was dry also asked me to stand out of my seat while cutting. I've been to several salons and never experienced that. It was unusual to me. By the end of my appointment, my hair was much shorter than I wanted, the layers look very choppy instead of soft and blended. What upset me just as much as I was treated. During the appointment, she made comments about my physical appearance that made me feel uncomfortable. I'm a Taller woman and those comments felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I also mentioned a recent shoulder surgery. Unfortunately she was rough and forceful when moving me. I left feeling disappointed not only with my hair cut but with the overall experience. A haircut can always grow out, but how you make a client feel matters too. I hope this feedback encourages more consideration, better communication, and respect for future clients.
