Started out a little rough because I could not get the debit card to work and had to jump through a few hoops But ultimately because of my persistence if anything God I prevailing that the parts that I needed for my bike and I am very grateful how much are how many people in life quit right before they received their blessings that would have carried them down the road. It was a Christmas gift. I went in to purchase a bike, I put down a $500 deposit, 10 days later I found a better price somewhere else and spoke to the manager to let them know, they wouldn't match the price so I asked for my deposit back, the manager told me they cannot give me my $500 deposit back. I never took the bike from the store, it wasn't paid off yet. No stars given if I could. read more

Extremely rude my husband and I have spent over 1,000 dollars on bike repairs and parts and all sorts of stuff it's not really ideal for a customer that has be in your store more then once to be so rude to them like all I was asking the guy in front in about them size on forks for my mtb and just cause and I quote "Don't look like u got that type of money" WTH was that's supposed to mean if ima asking for something I wanted to put on my bike of course I go the money I work hard my hobbies and so those my husband extremely sad this the community bike shop a bunch of asshole . read more

I've been going to Visalia Cyclery since 2008 to purchase bikes. I've seen a revolving change of personnel but the atmosphere and environment has maintained. The folks who work there are always nice and knowledgeable. My recent visit was to purchase bikes for my 12 year old son and 3 year old grandson (they weren't with me). I was running an errand to pick up some materials at Home Depot but stopped into Visalia Cyclery to pick the bikes up first. I saw what I wanted, however, the 12" needed to be assembled. They said it would be an hour, so I conducted my errand and returned an hour later. The bikes were assembled and serviced ready to go. They even helped me load them up. The folks there were kind and engaging as we spent some time shooting the breeze (as some might say). I got home and the kids were extremely happy with the bikes, as they rode them until it got dark. read more

I have been buying bikes from Visalia Cyclery since 1979. They have always serviced the bikes, adapted the bikes to fit my needs (from adjusting the stem so I could sit more upright, to putting really low gears on my road bike so I could more easily climb mountain roads). They ordered for me one of the first ebikes 10 years ago. I have loved it, but the battery is going out, finally. They guided me through the websites of similar bikes and helped me decide the best for my criteria. I bought the bike today and the very nice guy (I'm so sorry I didn't get your name) who helped me totally checked out the bike, installed a water bottle, cut down the seat stem so I have more range, checked that my seat was the right hight, and went over the options for bike rack bags on line with me. I am so grateful that they are still in business and thriving and that I can always count on exceptional professional experience from Visalia Cyclery. I brought in my Sun 7-speed trike that I bought second-hand. It needed a lot of work, but they got all the mechanics into great shape. They took care of the tubes and tires, replaced the rusty shifter, and fixed the broken front brakes like new. They also adjusted the handlebars and seat so they fit me just right. The worker even loaded it into the back of my truck like it was nothing. I'm super satisfied with the service at Visalia Cyclery.
