Dropped in for a late dinner, as it is right across the street from our hotel. Their new Happy Hour (afternoon) and Happiest Hour (1 hour before closing), served in the bar, is terrific. Highly recommend the chef's antipasto plate, featuring house-made charcuterie that is world-class. Also, the lamb lollipops were some of the best lamb we have ever had (and we love lamb...) These dishes are great at regular prices, but unbelievable at half price. Barman Scott did a perfect job of keeping us served without being "our new best friend"... Too bad they dont have any beer on tap. Wine list is tops, though. read more

This used to be a favorite when we came to Wenatchee but no more. We ordered 2 small pizzas in the bar area and wine. Wine was good but when the pizzas were served, they were not the thin crust as we have had in the past. The margerite pizza had so much cheese on it that it was actually yucky whereas the pepperoni was sparse. The pizzas were thick crusted and not even sliced. We had a hard time cutting into them. Visconti's needs to visit McGlinn's to see what a real Marguerite pizza should be. read more

Visconti's is a moderately priced and authentic enough Italian restaurant located on the main drag of this town in the middle of Washington state and about halfway between Seattle and Spokane. It is toward the northern end of town, it looks like a quaint cottage, and it has its own parking lot. Visconti's food was good. I had opted for cannelloni. They also feature the typical meat, poultry, and fish dishes prepared according to an Italian theme. The interior of the restaurant is very segmented. As you walk in, there is a bar to the right. Then, over toward the left, is the main dining room. And, further down a hallway, there is additional space for dining and/or a group function from what I could deduce. The service was pleasant. The food arrived in a timely enough manner. The pricing for the pasta dishes was pretty much in the ball park with other restaurants of this genre. Pricing for the meat, poultry, and fish dishes was higher, as is always the case, but I didn't partake. Thus, if a person opts for a "primo," a "secondo," and also opts for wine or alcohol, the tab will climb. Visconti's also has a location in nearby touristic Leavenworth. At this "main" location in Wenatchee, there is a bar which appears to be as happening as it could get in this small- to medium-sized city. Be it the bar or the dining room, I found it to be a little dark inside, but that's a personal pet peeve. I'm guessing it's the best Italian restaurant in Wenatchee, though. Because of that, I'm rounding them up to 4 stars, though I'm thinking it's more like a 3.5 star sort of place. But the portions were decently sized, so maybe they clearly do deserve 4 stars. read more

I was at a work training in Wenatchee and some colleagues wanted to go here. I looked at the menu and wasnt real impressed with options since I am a low carb eater. I went along anyway. The one word that describes this place? PRETENTIOUS. The waiter acted like we were on top of the Space Needle. The menu was limited (for anyone not just me) and VERY expensive. I settled on bacon wrapped prawns. When they arrived I was shocked to see I was paying 14.00 for 6 prawns. They were good, but how can you eff up bacon and prawns? My colleague had pumpkin ravioli. There were 8 little raviolis on her plate and she finished it in 8 bites and then looked around like "thats it?". She said they were good but not for the price. I would not go back. read more

Super disappointed - called restaurant several times:message said no reservations- so we went early for dinner- told no availability because booked with reservations. Person was rude and did not recognize this was not what message-said- could have been avoided by simply changing message on phone and having more understanding staff- will avoid going there as other restaurants were much more thoughtful and accommodating. read more

Scott made me a boulevardier which is like a Negroni off the happy hour menu at his discretion which was kind of him and it has Rye instead of gin and it is quite lovely. The lamb lollipops and the chilled steak as well as the dates are also a treat. read more

I have been to this place twice. And I'll explain why I'm giving 1 star. Visit1: We didn't have reservation. We walked in and the first thing they asked was "Do you have a reservation" We said no. So, they seated us all the way in the back by the kitchen. We really didn't like the table, there were empty tables in the front. But we didn't say anything because we hadn't made a reservation. Visit2: We called in 1 week in advance to make a reservation. We showed up at 5pm and told them that we had a reservation. There were tables available in the front. They still asked us to sit in the back. This time we asked if we can sit in the front. Server said "We are quite book up". Is that my problem? Did all those people call a week in advance? Eventually they gave us a two people table in the front and said that we need to leave before 7pm. We were there at 5... So, they did us a favor... How sweet. What bothers me is that they preferred leaving that table empty for 2 hours rather than offering it to us for 1 hour. If anyone is wondering, I'm an easy customer. I am very quiet at restaurants. I order from the menu without any modifications. If you bring me the wrong dish, I'll eat it and won't say anything. If you forget my order, I won't even remind you, at the end I'll just make sure you didn't charge me for what I didn't receive that's all. It was so obvious that these people didn't want our business. I'm quite offended. I can't tell why. I was dressed just like the people there. I made a reservation 1 week in advance just so I don't have to sit in the back. The entire time at the restaurant I felt unwelcome because of this experience and kept thinking why they don't want me there. The only thing I can come up with is because I'm "ethnic". I'm not sure if this is the reason, but that was the only difference between me and others. I will never come to this restaurant ever again. If I'm going to spend $80 on dinner, I'll go somewhere else where they don't hide me in the back away from other customers. We should have walked out of the restaurant. The only thing I regret is I stayed and supported this business. PS: Their pasta was swimming in butter. read more

Because of COVID we sat in a heated outdoor area and the staff expended extra energy to ensure our comfort. Every dish we tried exhibited wonderful culinary understanding of Italian cuisine. I share now that my family lives and dines regularly in Seattle. We are spoiled when it comes to foodie experiences and we all left extremely pleased from our visit to the local Italian bistro of Wenatchee. I have to admit that the rib eye steak there was only top five I've ever had all time. I usually prefer mine at home on the grill, but this one was perfect If you go out to eat in Wenatchee, this is the spot. Great Italian fare with a nice ambiance and great service. Everything we got was wonderful. We got the pesto calamari app, my kid got spaghetti marinara, a lavender lemon drop, and my wife got the crab fettuccine. All wonderful. But that steak, wow. Saw the reviews on here and decided why not. We were craving some Italian food anyways. So we get there, it's very small but super fancy and inexpensive at the same time. I had the lasagna with meatballs, bf had the prawn spaghetti, and daughter had the mariners sauce kids spaghetti. This was the best Italian food we've ever had so far! There's a bar in there it got a little loud but nothing to bad. The price for us three was about 65 with taxes included. Not bad at all! They sure give you a good size portions too! I definitely recommend. We will probably not be returning since we're here only for the weekend and we're not into really fancy restaurants but it was so worth every penny! 100% satisfied. read more

This is my favorite Italian Restaurant... EVER! The service could be a little better.. I have been to both the Wenatchee restaurant and the Leavenworth restaurant... I would have to say the Leavenworth has nicer service vs. the Wenatchee one. I love their cheese sauce!! it brings be back every time! I highly recommend it when people ask "What is a good place to eat?" I think I just made myself hungry! The food is also on the pricier side... but my motto is, if it's good, I'd pay just about what ever price to eat it. The food is so good tho, that they can treat me like crap and I'd still go back.. I struggled a little with the rating for this review. They accomodated a large group fairly late in the evening and were polite, cheerful and efficient with complicated billing. Several people raved about their dishes - said the tomatoes tasted right off the vine, and their meal was delicious. My daughter and I both ordered spaghetti with meatballs, unadventurous but this should be a home run in an Italian restaurant. The pasta was overdone. The sauce wasn't a nice pool of marinara sauce - it was an orange coating on the pasta that tasted more like Chef BoyRDee (which I don't like) than anything else. I tasted no fresh garlic, no basil, no nothing other than acidic canned tomato taste with unidentifiable generic spices. Meatballs were o.k., although heavy on the oregano. Bread placed on the table was nothing special - which was what my daughter had to say about the spaghetti as well. We had a large group, and they gave us a back room. Decor was fake Italian murals with plastic grape vines tacked to it. Didn't offend me, but for $33 for two plates of spaghetti that included a side salad (we both drank water), I wasn't overwhelmed. I'd have given it 2 stars for the spaghetti, but as I said, other members of our group raved about their food. I am admittedly particular about Italian food. To put it into perspective - I think Olive Garden tastes like frozen dinners from the supermarket. read more
