The fish was hard and horrible. I'll definitely won't be ordering from them again. It doesn't taste fresh at all.

Our Yelp search led us to 1 Fish 2 Fish and now we order our Lobsters with them ever since. We eat Lobster 3 to 4 times a year for celebrations and have never been disappointed with the quality. Worth the 45 min drive one way across the border. Would recommend them in a heart beat to anyone looking for quality fresh seafood. Several cuts above anything that you'd at a regular market. I can guarantee you I clean them better then they would (only because I spend more time on them) and to cut them I prefer larger pieces for baking so that isn't a big deal. But it takes time to clean up the mess (not that bad) So I thought I'll get them from 1fish2fish. But when I seen they want 18.00 a pound I said no way. I can buy sockeye for 10.00 per lb. So they are saying they want 8.00 a lb for cutting and wrapping? Not from me they are getting this price. You know if you would have not got so greedy with your prices you would have alot more business. Or maybe you are and the people that are paying this price have too much money in there wallets :) Sorry to say until your prices come down I will not be a customer. I gave you are 2 star only because you product is good :) So if you don't mind the prices then go for it!

I have been a long time customer of DHOC. We love our oysters! The highlight of the dinner was to have Adam from DHOC set up am oyster bar at the party. It was the focal point of the dinner and a tremendous hit with our guests. Adam served, cooked and shucked raw oysters. They were all fantastic! I cannot say enough about how fun it was to DHOC at this party. We will definitely have them back again this summer. If you are hosting a party, add oysters to menu! They are the difference between a simple party vs. a fun culinary experience for your family and friends. Our friends are still contacting us to rave about the oyster bar! Thank you, Adam, for making this dinner extra special! We appreciate your hard work and excellent service! I wish I had pictures to share but I forgot to take them!

I appreciated being able to sample the dressing before ordering as I would not want the taste of anchovies to be too strong. The grilled sourdough bread was a nice finish to the salad. We had also ordered a side of bread and the herb butter was delicious! Hubby had the combo half basket with shrimp, oysters, and halibut and it was tasty and just the right amount. I enjoyed the kolsch and hubby the amber. We enjoyed eating outside on a warm, sunny day.

The Taylor Shellfish Samish Oyster Bar. It's not a restaurant in the traditional sense; it's more of a landscape. We had dozens of fresh west coast oysters, smoked oysters, shrimp, crab, beer, and....a view that made this an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a place that celebrates the food rather than the performance, this is it. Go for the oysters, stay for the silence, and leave knowing exactly where your food came from. Food (5/5): Everything was outstanding. I'm not even a fan of smoked oysters but these were prepared in a way that made them truly amazing. Customer Service (4.5/5): The staff were friendly and readily available. Price (Est. $60/person): It is easy to lose track of the final bill when the food is this good and you keep the orders coming, but expect to spend around $60 per person. Decor/View (4.5/5): The outdoor setting is perfect, especially on a clear nice day, providing an unmatched view of the water.

There's no shade, I think I could see people getting sunburnt in the hour that I was there. I ordered a dozen shucker's choice oysters and received an assortment of 3 different types. It's pretty amazing the difference in taste across the different oysters. They were great! Super fresh and served with a couple wedges of lemon and mignonette. A little different than the way they're served on the opposite coast (typically lemon, cocktail sauce, horseradish, and mignonette. Several of the oysters were pretty large and took some chewing to get through. I paired them with a nice glass of gruner veltliner. Great spot, I'd definitely return.

The dining room was elegant yet cozy, with great lighting. The staff was also very friendly and our waiter was very helpful in aiding our choice. We ordered the Focaccia bread, the salmon momtadito and the tonnarelli as our entree. The focaccia was the only dissapointing item as it was very basic in my opinion, which isn't bad but just nothing exciting to write about. The appetizer, the salmon montadito, was probably my favorite item of the night. It was served on focaccia bread and drizzled with a truffle honey butter and sat upon a mascarapone yogurt. It was elegant and it was incredibly flavorful. The sweetness of the truffle honey butter was a great contrast to the salmon itself, and all melted together to make an exceptional appetizer. The tonnarelli was a pasta dish we split and was also very tasty. The pasta itself was a thicker spaghetti like pasta served with plenty of crab. It was tasty and it satisfied and I'd likely order it again as I will be back when my sister's visit. All in all, a great restaurant to spend a nice night right in the heart of Bellingham!
