Love this vitality bowl more than the one closer to me. Their salads are very hearty and everything was delicious and had generous amount of ingredients. Nothing bums me out than paying 16 or 20 bucks for a sad looking salad which happens all the time in the Bay as if I order a salad, I don't deserve joy or something... Great place as a healthy alternative to fast food. I found Vitality Bowls on Yelp and decided I needed to try it out. Super modern, clean and cute inside. Somehow also had a comfy feel with the fireplace and natural wood. There are also three TVs in here if you want to check out something on TV. Avocado Toast sounded divine so that's what I had. It hit the spot. The seed bread was so good and was toasted perfectly. The avocado was topped with grape tomatoes that were sliced in half as well as feta cheese. I only wish the avocados had been fresh sliced or mashed, they had the consistency of the packages of avocado spread you buy at Costco. Came on a Sunday morning right after they opened. Super quick service and we had the whole place to ourselves. On a typical day there is a wait but not terribly long. Our go to order is the nutty bowl. If you like peanut butter, this is the bowl for you. Their granola is also super delicious! Clean location with a combination of table seating and one lounge area. Vitality Bowls is one of my favorite places to go. They have a great variety of acai bowls, salads, healthy breakfast items, and juices. They also have plant-based coffees. My recent order was a nutty bowl. I want to say it had more fruit on it the first time I ordered it in San Jose. But as you can see in my picture from the one here Morgan Hill it really only had bananas on the top and granola and of course the acai base. I was expecting a little bit more out of it so I was a little bummed out by that, hence the only four stars rather than five. I do however really enjoy how they have a bowl of the month to choose. I regret not choosing that one because I feel like it would have more variety of fruit inside it. I will definitely try that one my next time around. The dining area here is very clean and inviting. This is one of the larger Vitality Bowls that I have been to in/ near the Bay Area. This location sits around a shopping plaza. Upon entering there is plenty of indoor seating and even a cozy spot with couches and a coffee table for lounging. There were other patrons when I went but not super busy either. There is a cashier that takes orders but also a self service kiosk, so the line can move quickly if there's one at all. Food came out within a reasonable time after ordering as well. I usually get the Warrior Bowl with the extra toppings of cacao nibs and extra granola at the bottom. VB has a great selection of açaí bowls and also endless customizations to your açaí base, toppings, and added supplements like protein powder etc. It feels very nutritious to eat here and the açaí itself isn't too sweet. It can get pricey but if you have the app, then every $100 you spend gets you a $10 coupon. So, basically every five bowls you purchase, you can buy the next one half off. Great spot for nutritious food if you want something that's not too heavy and this location in particular has a nice indoor ambiance. read more

Looking to start the new year healthy so we searched for something open on New Year's Day as we were traveling up north and came upon this place. The restaurant is nice and homey inside. The decor is cute but we sat outside to get some Vitamin D and it was cold. We weren't greeted and the order taker was cold and did not smile or make eye contact hence reducing one star for service but we had the chicken pesto power bowl, tropical açaí bowl, steak chimichurri burrito, and a grilled cheese. It's conveniently located inside a shopping center off the 101 freeway. It wasn't busy and the place is pretty spacious and clean inside. They have a variety of açaí bowl and smoothie options. They also serve salads, soup, sandwiches and also have a kids menu. Since I've never been here, the person who helped me was nice and friendly and went over the menu with me. He recommended the matcha madness and I requested to have a scoop of protein added. It was $8 and some change for a 20oz, a bit pricey. The drink was good though. Total time: 31 minutes, double what they said both times. Communicate realistic times, over estimate if you need to but honestly would NOT have placed the order if they were up front with the wait time. Unacceptable especially when we have a baby waiting in the car and plans. We could have stopped by Trader Joe's and got everything to make the bowls ourselves at home. On top of that, we get home and they messed up the order. Was supposed to be a Warrior and a original Vitality, but it was just two original ones Ugh. Vent over. Luckily the bowls are still good and we'll be back, but hopefully the service and communication gets better. I selected medium, paid and I included a tip When I get my order I checked the bag and it was this tiny a.f container. It was small, tiny, not worth the price I paid. I've gone to other places and paid far less for a much bigger size. I went back in and asked if what I ordered was medium or small. The female employee wearing sweat pants and a lose shirt said it only comes in small size. If that's the case it's way to over priced and when creating the order it shouldn't ask what size for what your picking. Misleading in every way. Be sure to ask all the questions before ordering so they don't rip you off. How sad, such a nice area has to operate this way. Service wasn't that great either. I will never come here ever again.
