Vito's pizza is absolutely amazing. Great, fresh taste and they actually toss the dough in front of you!! They have a good selection of toppings but my favorite are always the veggies. I haven't been to Vito's since well before the pandemic. Where do I start?... The lasagna was bomb! The sauce was so perfect, not salty, or too sweet, so and I mean SO flavorful. Went again... I wanted Lasagna again, but split one with a friend, and also had the Margherita Pizza SO DARN GOOD! The pizza crust was perfect, light crunchy soft dough, how does he do it! Then I tried the shrimp fettucine... New Owner (2 years I guess) Robert, The food is so good I want to pick a favorite... but you make it difficult. Great Service by the owner, Robert. He checks on his customers, has servers, but will also make his way to his customers. So hospitable and friendly. So accommodating to events that our groups have begun making this "our place". A friend of mine recommended this place and I was disappointed. It was not all that! I understand it's family owned and that's what she kept raving about. We got 3 large pizzas, a salad and what I thought was gone be wings but ended up being chicken strips that were really dry btw and my total was $117.00 over the phone but when I went to pay it was $130.00!! I would never pay that much for that little but I was being nice to her and her family but never again. The pepperoni pizza was really thick but the cheese was really food however every time you took a bite the cheese slid off so I ended up not eating the whole slice. Love their cheesesteaks, love the folks who work behind the counter. Very much a locals spot: you'll see a lot of familiar faces from one week to the next. Ambiance is vinyl booths and dusty neon beer signs (I say that with great love) and they have the most varied collection of TVs ever (LCD, rear projection, CRT) all tuned to sports. Best pizza on the Eastside! I've only been to this place like 2 other times and I was pretty young so I didn't remember much but holy moly, this place is bomb. Pizza is fresh and filling. My friend and I dined in and there weren't many people there on a Tuesday afternoon. We ordered a small pizza, jalapeño poppers, and garlic bread to share with my homegirl, and we had so much food left. The portions are very good size--we enjoyed our meal. Ordered over the phone for a pizza. The man on the phone was very kind and took my order down. Said it'd be ready in about 15-20 minutes. I drove over in 15 and it was ready. I ordered a pizza with pepperoni, sausage, olives, & mushroom. Very good. The crust was perfect and it wasn't too oily. I think i'd prefer more cheese, but otherwise it's a perfect pie. We also ordered some garlic bread which came in 2 large slices of bread smothered in butter & garlic. The bread was crispy and the marinara sauce was good. Yesterday I was at Vito's Pizza and I had witnessed the owner of Vito's provide poor customer service due to a past personal issue outside of the workplace. There was a fundraiser taking place for a family member that they are trying to lay to rest and this man reacted poorly I don't know if it was due to the fact that he was drinking majority of the time on the job. I wish I could have put no stars for this place. I came with my son to watch the raiders game today and we had been here for only 40 mins and was going to order my self a beer and whatever my son wanted. But we just ate before we came here and I was waiting for my food to go down a little before I was going to get a beer. Anyhow the owner came up to me very rudely and said are we going to order something if not you have to leave cause I payed lots of money for the NFL games and you have to spend 10 bucks or something , which I understand. But if he would have ask me nicely if we were going to order I would have said yes , we just wanted our food to go down a little. I just felt disrespect on how he came up to me with my son around smh. And then he said I'm a Cowboys fan , just because I was wearing Cowboys gear. Which to me makes no sense. The food sucks , they have very rude owners. I wouldn't recommend anymore to come here ever. A tip for the owners you need a sign outside or inside saying you have to spend 10 bucks or more to watch any sports games on TV, so you can give the customers a heads up. We ordered the all meat combo after seeing the photos posted and were not disappointed. The crust was thick, fluffy, and crisp on the edges. The pie was piled with cheese, meats, and brushed with an herb infused oil. The pizza is good, and the prices are right.
