I've been in Las Vegas for almost 30 years now and I don't think I've been to the Boulevard Mall since I first moved here; when I was living down the street in the college dormitory. The mall has changed a lot since then and all the food places have as well so I was eager to check out the new spots. We found the Viva Cafe and stopped in for a coffee at first but after looking at the menu decided to order some food as well. I ordered the carne asada panini and it was delicious. I've gone to the cafe for a few weeks now, and they always did pretty well. Though recently, they haven't had products to serve me. Most recently I went in and they didn't have chorizo for my chorizo burrito, no big deal. Come in a few days later, they don't have egg. This was a great coffee shop find! It's located inside the Boulevard Mall on the east side. It's a Colombiano based coffee shop. They offer smoothies, coffee, tea, as well as food items. I'm actually more of tea person than a coffee one. So I decided to get a special order of a black tea with steamed almond milk. The young man working the place was more than helpful, accommodating, and understanding. The tea was real good and made just right. The decor and seating is great to meet with a friend or even study. We quickly stopped by here to just to grab coffee. Yes kinda weird to stop at a mall just for coffee, bit that tells you the coffee AND service is good. The workers there a genuinely nice. The cool thing to know is the mall is under construction. The blvd mall is currently building a movie theatre. This will dramatically increase the business. This coffee house house serves food too. Another yummy experience. One thing I would mention ask to lower the amount of sweet pumps into your coffee if you love the taste of espresso. Coffee drinks are solid, love that they offer mint mocha flavor year-round instead of seasonally. They toasted the wheat bread and the egg white, cheese and spinach were perfectly match. I also got matcha thinking it was tea but turned out to be matcha latte. It was a little on the sweet side. The menu did not mention it is matcha latte so I think they should clarify. Not that pleasant. But who cares, it's canned juice. The tea was excellent. Ordered a green milk tea; wonderful color, awesome flavor, and quick preparation. This is a bright spot in The Boulevard mall. It's quaint, with authentic atmosphere and an independent feel that makes me happy to support it and keep coming back. I often spend at least a day a week in the boulevard mall, and before I would have to settle for restaurant coffee or some other terrible machination. But no more. Now I can get barista quality and enjoy a nice view of the mall from one of their many chairs. There's wifi, a tv, and plenty of small tables to set your laptop on if you need to get some work done. Stop in sometime if you happen to find yourself at this mall or on this side of town, you shouldn't find yourself disappointed. read more

What a gem of a place I came across! Nestled deep within Boulevard Mall (which btw has definitely gone down and lost a lot of business in the past 10 years) So to my surprise I was pleasantly surprised to discover this cute, quiet, cozy, and quaint little cafe with warm earth tone colors. Very well kept and immaculately clean! Seemed to also be a frequent place for locals to sit down, have an espresso and/ or work on their laptops or read a book. The owner was frequently greeting returning customers by their first names. A few uniformed military soldiers also stopped in for some coffee and the owner greeted them like they were regulars as well! I got a good homey vibe from this place. Excellent array of hot and cold deli sandwiches, paninis, and salads to choose from. Along with a remarkable espresso menu containing all of the favorites from Pumpkin Spice, Vanilla Latte, White Mochas, Raspberry White Mocha, Con Panna, Cappuccino, and many more! I will definitely be coming back to show my support to this wonderful, honest family owned business and amazing Cafe! read more
