I've been a regular here for about 5 years. They do the best job at the best price. I have paid far more for bad work before. One time I had to go somewhere else for my fill (Vivid was closed for remodeling) and I was charged $80 for a FILL and the work was not as good as I am used to. I recently switched from acrylics with gel polish to the dip powder and I love it! The dip powder has helped get my weak nails longer than ever! It's hard to say the price becuase I often get additional services, but I think a dip powder mani is about $30.... which is a very good price. Kellie, Hannah, and Jenny all do a wonderful job. I never ask for a specific technician because I know I am in good hands no matter who I get. I also got my eyebrows microbladed here and can honestly say it's one of the best jobs I've seen. I have friends who got it done elsewhere and theirs didn't last as long nor look as good as mine. Kellie did them over 2 years ago and they still haven't faded completely! After choking down the $72 nails bill at Beauty Quest (awesome place, just crazy expensive) I returned to my neighborhood Vivid Nails for a second go. This time I was prepared with my own Essie polish and a book. It was 3:15 and I told them I needed to be in and out in an hour because of an appointment in Huntington Beach at 5pm. They totally delivered and double teamed my mani/pedi. I was done (drying and everything) at 4:15pm. My nails look awesome and interestingly there was no push for upcharge items. They included the leg massage in the pedicure for no extra charge. Perhaps it depends on who the tech is who's performing the work... $28 plus a $6 tip, I got out of there for $34. Now that's a whole lot easier on the pocketbook (I can go here twice for what I paid at BQ). I think this is going to be my go-to from here on out. read more

I'm always on the hunt for an amazing nail salon. I came here based on their location being right down the street from my boyfriends house. I had made an appointment for 2:15 after I got out of work. I was seated within seconds. I was getting a fill with gel polish and a pedicure. The people working on my nails didn't say much but they were kind. I wanted to change my nail shape since I originally went in with a square-round shape. I was told there was an extra charge for that. I had never experienced that anywhere else, but I agreed. The woman working on my hands did a great job. I was pretty satisfied with the results. The gel matte didn't last as long as I had hoped. I mean, the gel is still on but the matte isn't as matte anymore. The man that worked on my pedicure was so meticulous and did an great job. I just wish the callus remover was more intense (still have calluses) and the massage was more intense as well. It didn't really feel like a massage.
