5 stars all the way! I've been to this place a few times out of convenience because it is right down the street from my work and I have to say they do GREAT work here. Went for the gel mani - pedi combo and not only was it super relaxing but Hana did an amazing job on the gel application. I've been to numerous places where they place the gel too far from your cuticle and it almost looks like it's grown out a bit - not here! Sometimes the wait can be a bit long but that's the cost for a quality job at a reasonable price

I have never been pressured to upsell and if I don't like something they make sure it's fixed before I leave I have had the gel Peel before and I went back In Expecting them to blame me and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they fixed it with a smile on their face. I've been here twice and have received great manicures each time! Kellie does a great job prepping my nails so the gel looks GREAT two and a half weeks later, not a single corner lifted. My pedicure also held up very well. I showed a photo of the mani I wanted and it was matched identically! Overall very impressed with my nail care and will become a frequent customer here. Also, This is the first time I love the shape of my nails.

They usually do a good job, today kellie was not there early in the morning and Tina and Ivy got a little busy so Tina rushed my nails and didn't give me what I requested (longer nails and a different shade of color). I'm showing what I wanted for my nails vs what I received. So disappointed, don't think I'll go back anymore. Really unsatisfied.

After choking down the $72 nails bill at Beauty Quest (awesome place, just crazy expensive) I returned to my neighborhood Vivid Nails for a second go. This time I was prepared with my own Essie polish and a book. It was 3:15 and I told them I needed to be in and out in an hour because of an appointment in Huntington Beach at 5pm. They totally delivered and double teamed my mani/pedi. I was done (drying and everything) at 4:15pm. My nails look awesome and interestingly there was no push for upcharge items. They included the leg massage in the pedicure for no extra charge. Perhaps it depends on who the tech is who's performing the work... $28 plus a $6 tip, I got out of there for $34. Now that's a whole lot easier on the pocketbook (I can go here twice for what I paid at BQ). I think this is going to be my go-to from here on out.

Kellie is the BEST!! I have been seeing her for lashes for a few years and she is by far the best in SoCal. She is also very fast which is highly unusual for lash artists. She has years of experience and is Absolutely the best in OC! Her work is beautiful, she's a perfectionist and always ensures her clients are taken care of. A true gem! So happy to have been referred to Vivid Nails and Spa years ago. Go see Kellie, you will not be disappointed!!

I came to Vivid Nails and Spa to get a gel mani and pedi, and it was the BEST gel mani and pedi I've ever had! I love this salon, because they don't charge extra to take off a previous gel mani. Kelly soaked my nails and gently "scrubbed" them off when the gel softened enough. Tammy was the real star though. She did both my gel mani and regular pedi. I was really indecisive about what color I wanted for my pedi... I think I changed my mind three times? But each time, Tammy just patiently found a new color for me. I also brought in a picture of the design I wanted for my gel mani. Tammy is a BOSS. She did it effortlessly and made it look JUST like the picture. When I asked her to fix the middle finger design, she worked on it until I was satisfied. Actually, the ladies had to stay past business hours to finish my appointment. I was really thankful, because these were my birthday nails, and they turned out so beautifully. I've been to many, many nail salons. But Vivid Nails and Spa is definitely the best, especially for how affordable it is! I'll definitely be back :)

I've been here a few times and have love my nails every time. It's super cheap here compared to other places nearby. ($14 for a pedicure) I would suggest calling ahead of time to check the wait time. I came on a Saturday evening and I was there for an hour and a half just to get a pedicure. There were so many ppl there with just 2 ladies working. I didn't mind that much because I wasn't in a rush and I was aware of the situation. Next time, I'll call ahead or make an appointment. Still, this is my local go-to salon.

This place took me by surprise. I wish I remembered the woman's name who did my nails. She made them look amazing and she didn't rush or do a half a**ed job. She took her time to make each nail perfect. When she was picking the colors for me she made sure they matched the colors in the Pinterest photo I showed her. She also gave me an awesome massage (no extra charge) when doing my feet and hands. I wanted to fall asleep. I would definitely recommend!!!! (These are my real nails and they've never looked this well shaped).

I'm always on the hunt for an amazing nail salon. I came here based on their location being right down the street from my boyfriends house. I had made an appointment for 2:15 after I got out of work. I ended up getting out earlier than expected and arrived about 45 minutes early. I walked in and it was a ghost town. Not the most up to date salon, but I don't mind that. I was seated within seconds. I was getting a fill with gel polish and a pedicure. The people working on my nails didn't say much but they were kind. I wanted to change my nail shape since I originally went in with a square-round shape. I was told there was an extra charge for that. I had never experienced that anywhere else, but I agreed. The woman working on my hands did a great job. I was pretty satisfied with the results. The gel matte didn't last as long as I had hoped. I mean, the gel is still on but the matte isn't as matte anymore. The man that worked on my pedicure was so meticulous and did an great job. I just wish the callus remover was more intense (still have calluses) and the massage was more intense as well. It didn't really feel like a massage. Overall, a good experience. $51 for fill, gel polish and manicure. I've seen better prices.

Horrible service! Rushed, aggressive and sloppy! The nail tech told me she could only do one style of nails... seriously! She even got polish on my blouse which will not wash off so thanks a lot. All my nails are different shapes. She also cut me a few times and didn't even apologize,I will never be back! read more

I was just here the day before thanks giving not closed. I used to love this place usually does a great job lady time my brother and I came and he got a pedicure his toes hurt for more than a week. They always do a good job on acrylics last time however after 2 DAYS 3 nails broke off. Just super depressing. I spent about 70 $$ on myself and my brother spent 20$$ read more

Worst place - I had an appointment and thought it all it felt rushed I had been there once before and she did an amazing job for the last time I went it all felt rushed and she did a horrible job blending was not done - to thick - I understand she had another customer to do but that's no reason to rush your work - You get paid to do your job and make them nice - if you know you don't have time for an appointment tell the customer - Horrible Job Never coming back again - read more

I've been a regular here for about 5 years. They do the best job at the best price. I have paid far more for bad work before. One time I had to go somewhere else for my fill (Vivid was closed for remodeling) and I was charged $80 for a FILL and the work was not as good as I am used to. I recently switched from acrylics with gel polish to the dip powder and I love it! The dip powder has helped get my weak nails longer than ever! It's hard to say the price becuase I often get additional services, but I think a dip powder mani is about $30.... which is a very good price. Kellie, Hannah, and Jenny all do a wonderful job. I never ask for a specific technician because I know I am in good hands no matter who I get. I also got my eyebrows microbladed here and can honestly say it's one of the best jobs I've seen. I have friends who got it done elsewhere and theirs didn't last as long nor look as good as mine. Kellie did them over 2 years ago and they still haven't faded completely! When they do, I will definitely be doing it again. read more

I went in for gel mani/pedi. I ended up getting a gel acrylic manicure, and gel pedicure. In total (not including tip) it came to $91 and I got french tip on both my hands and feet. They were very nice, the service was great. I will admit that the outside of the building looks a little questionable but the atmosphere is much better on the inside. I will definitely be going back! read more

Nothing bad to say about this place. I always come on a Saturday around 2 PM and I'm always promptly taken care of. It's not the most beautiful place, and you don't go there to get the spa experience, but they sure do rock some nails! $34 gets you spa mani and pedi, callous remover and a buff n' shine. The ladies are courteous and they're respectful of you and your space. If you're not chatty, you don't have to chat. It's kinda nice to do your thing when you want. Haven't tried any of their other service, but with these prices, I might have to check it out! read more

Vincent did an amazing job. The nails were perfect, what I asked for, and so cheap compared to what I normally pay. $20 to $40 dollars normally. Here it only cost me $14!!! Quality is amazing and they listened to my explicit instructions for one of my fingers that has arthritis and hurts when touched. Definitely going back!!! read more

I called to make sure they would take me in for pedi and fill, they said no problem come in. Your typical Asian place you walk in getting one price walk out paying double or more. My nails were done by the owner I told her I was getting married next week so I wanted a flower something cute, she said it would stand out too much and it would take away from the ring so I ended up getting what she suggested which in my opinion rhinestones stand out more than a simple flower but moving on, when she finished I asked her if she could add a flower to my pedicure and she said no! She said I was getting married next week if wanted to add it to come back another day!!!! So rude I will NEVER be going back!!!!!! read more

Found this place on yelp...after reading all the reviews went to kelly for a full set of acrylics. She is awesome and super low priced. I bite my nails so I've been getting fake ones put on for about half of my life and she's definitely one of the best, and she works super quickly, which I really appreciate! This place has been one of my best finds on yelp yet! read more

This is how my gel acrylic nails look after 7 days. Unbelievable. I will never return to this place ever again. I get my nails done consistently and they've never looked this terrible this after such a short amount of time. They did my nails very quickly and the quality shows. This is a great little nail salon! Met a co-worker there who's a regular and now I'm hooked! Great prices, very clean, and cool nail art. Kelly did my nails and she was fantastic and quick. For the first time ever my nails didn't hurt after getting a new set of acrylics! Not to mention they look gorgeous :) My only complaint is it's a little hard to spot from the street, aside from that amazing. read more

This is my go to spot! I'm glad I found Kellie, she does my nails just how I like them. Very natural looking and thin! They have all the latest and new gel colors! Make sure you make an appointment rather than walking in so they can accommodate you better. Just recently had my nails done and this is how they came out.. read more

I really wish I could upload a photo of what they did to my eyebrows today. If you look at my profile picture I have two eyebrows half of my eyebrow is now gone. I approached the owner I told her what had happened and what her employee had done to my eyebrow. Before I approached her her employee had told me no honey they look fine no half of it is gone what are you talking about it looks does not look fine. Explain the situation to her and she straight up ignored me saying it's going to grow I have phone I had a photoshoot an hour later what was I supposed to do half of my eyebrow is gone I didn't have time to get my face fixed and that is negligent she was rude and a total b****. I've never been so angry in my entire life but I really wish that her establishment has the worst luck in the world that her customers disappear because she is rude and a snobby b****. read more

I love coming here to get my nails done! The environment is very warm and fun. It feels like a family here. And the nail work is absolutely gorgeous! It takes me around 30-45 mins to get here due to traffic but I still find time to make it. Totally worth it! read more

A very affordable job well done. The hand/arm massage was great too. Normally the massages are usually pretty weak but my nail stylist was strong and it felt heavenly! She was patient with me and quick during the process. Will definitely be returning. read more

Great place for a pedicure! Base price is $14, then if you add services the price increases from there. Still, with callous remover and an extra 10 minutes of glorious massage my pedicure was only $27.00! As for the ladies complaining about their gel & acrylic nails, not sure what has their knickers so twisted. I don't have fake nails, so cant relate. My friend who introduced me to Vivid nails gets her gel mani her religiously and she loves it! This is no snazzy upscale place, but you don't pay snazzy prices either. I have no idea how this happened but when I pointed it out at my next visit, there wasn't even an offer for a small credit or any gesture to make it right. Clients are expected to be on time, yet I have had to wait on multiple occasions because they weren't ready for me. Plus, one of the techs frequently stops mid-application to check out other customers or help other techs, which just drags out the appointment. Usually I go every four weeks but recently I've had some big events and trying to get a touch-up has been difficult. I replied to confirm an available slot immediately only to be told it was actually already booked. It actually caused me to miss getting a touch-up before my son was born. I really want to keep supporting this business because the results are consistent, but I hope they start showing a bit more consideration for their loyal, long-term clients. Skills are important, but so is how you treat people.
