Visiting from Nashville. The Nashville Hot Chicken pizza is closest I've had to an authentic hot chicken sandwich.

The restaurant was only about 50% full, so it didn't seem overly busy. We were seated in the back and ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees within about five minutes. Our waitress was incredibly nice and attentive -- she was quick with our first two rounds of refills and had a great attitude the entire night. Unfortunately, the timing of the food really hurt the experience. Our appetizers didn't come out until about 45 minutes after ordering, and our entrees arrived an hour and a half after we were seated. By the time our dinners came out, we were the last table left in the restaurant. To make things more frustrating, the meals were brought out in two separate rounds about 10 minutes apart. When the second round finally came, we ended up asking for boxes and the check right away. The food itself was absolutely delicious, and our waitress did everything she could to take care of us. That's why we're giving 3 stars. But waiting an hour and a half for dinner -- especially when the restaurant wasn't very busy -- is just not acceptable. We'd consider giving it another try, but only if the kitchen timing improves.

When I first contacted him he replied almost immediately and set up a time to talk with me about our preferences, dietary restrictions and overall food vibes. He sent me a menu within a day and welcomed feedback. Tonight we sat at the bar where we were able to see into the open kitchen and Chef Anthony walked us through every dish (both ours and those of other diners). Everything was delicious and with the exception of the cannoli shell, made from scratch, in house. Portions were huge for an almost 8 course meal and the pacing was great. The other staff were wonderful and beyond the flavorful food, the pricing is very reasonable. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation. He also recently lost his sous chef due to him being in a really unfortunate accident. So if anyone knows someone looking for work... he's hiring.

I'll post a photo of the menu, but here are some of my thoughts: Turkey - so delicious Mashed potatoes - perfection Stuffing - I loved it but the kids didn't. Honestly they probably would have preferred Stove Top though. Green beans - very tasty but not great as a leftover Cranberry chutney - ok, I love the canned stuff but this was truly a hit. Rolls and butter - literally such delicious butter! Apple pies - they were more like empanadas. I was expecting mini round pies. The crust was amazing but the apples were a bit tart. The pickup was easy and seamless. Everything was packed well. Thank you! We can't wait to come in to eat soon.

This is my second visit to Della Terra. I live in Maryland and planned a trip through Zelienople…read moreto bring my husband here for dinner. I'm so glad I did. The restaurant is located in an old bank building and the ambiance here is lovely. We chose the 5 course for two which is chef selected. It did not disappoint. We started with the polenta fries with the tomato basil aioli dipping sauce. The fries were hot, crispy and loaded with flavor. The sauce gave them a nice punch of flavor and was a nice addition. Next, we had the green goddess which included shaved asparagus and snow peas with mixed greens which was a lovely departure from your run of the mill Green Goddess. The lemon zest and ricotta balanced each other nicely. Next was the porchetta genovese pizza. Delicious! The olive oil flavor from the pesto sauce was stellar. We each had a slice and took the four remaining slices home so we could finish the two additional courses to come. Next, the Mafalda Cacciatore, a braised rabbit ragu. The meat was moist and the homemade pasta is the stuff dreams are made of. We finished our dinner with the tiramisu. Left to my own devices, I wouldn't have chosen tiramisu, so I'm happy it was chef's choice. This tiramisu was head and shoulders above all past tiramisu's I've eaten. The ladyfingers were moist without being soggy, the coffee flavor was strong without being overwhelming and the zabione was creamy deliciousness. I'm going to dream about this dessert. I just know it. Our server was Natalie and she has truly perfected the art of her craft. She timed our meal beautifully, described each dish she delivered, and answered our questions. On top of that she had a warm and friendly personality to boot. Finally, I have no idea how Della Terra has a rating below a 4! I'm absolutely baffled. I read a LOT of reviews and I love good food and good service. Both of these things are in abundance here. The ambience as I said is wonderful and their background music is at the perfect level. We were able to have conversation throughout our meal without yelling or repeating. So refreshing. Run, don't walk, to dine at Della Terra tonight! You can thank me later.

Unfortunately, the service didn't match the food. The waitress took our order and the service slowed after that. 3.5 stars. Long, detailed review... Arlecchino Ristorante is a casual-elegant Italian restaurant…read morethat is uniquely inside a one-room schoolhouse that was built in 1907. This restaurant is open for dinner and catering for dining in and takeout. It has many of the same menu items as its excellent sister restaurant Alla Famiglia. Each meal includes bread and oil, optional appetizers (e.g., meatball and mussels diavolo), a first course of salad and pasta, the chosen main course (e.g., chicken marsala, cacciatore, veal chop, and filet mignon), and then if desired dessert. Alcoholic beverages (e.g., cocktails, wines, and beers) are also available. For my husband's and my wedding anniversary, I made a reservation for Arlecchino through OpenTable. We arrived shortly after they opened for the day. Our first impressions: Valet was required for our vehicle. We felt interested in seeing the exterior and remodeled interior of the schoolhouse. Most of the restaurant was empty then, but the seating hostess took us to the worst table--the smallest table inches from the front door. I requested a different table, and she then gave us a much better one. OpenTable had said that the dress code was business casual, but other customers wore casual clothes, and a hostess wore shorts and a baggy sweatshirt hoodie. Our names were written on a chalkboard above the kitchen and on my menu but not my husband's menu. Our waiter provided timely service and spoke courteously with us. (If you are wondering how to pronounce the restaurant's name, he told me something like are-lee-kee-no or our-lee-key-no.) Here are my ratings for what my husband and I ate: Autumn Spritz - 4 stars - This spritz contained apple cider, Marie Brizard Apry, prosecco, and soda, and I liked its flavors. Smoked Provolone - 2 stars - Smoked provolone was topped with black truffles and arugula. Neither my husband nor I liked this appetizer. I took two bites, and he tried to eat half. Casa Salad - 4.5 stars - This salad consisted of mixed greens, roasted peppers, raisins, walnuts, olives, gorgonzola, and slightly too much vinaigrette. Caesar Salad - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this salad, and he said that it was his favorite food in the entire meal. Cavatappi Alla Vodka - 4 stars - My husband ate this pasta, and I took one bite, and I thought that it tasted good. Cacio E Pepe - 4 stars - Months ago at Alla Famiglia, we loved the locatelli romano cheese wheel at the tableside, so we felt excited to try it at Arlecchino. The waiter definitely mixed the linguini, cream, oil, and pepper in the cheese wheel. This cacio e pepe tasted good but not as great as what we remember from Alla Famiglia. Halibut - 3.5 stars - My main course was this special menu item. The halibut tasted bland but was served with black-tiger shrimp, carrots, tomatoes, zucchini, cauliflower, and butternut squash that added some nice flavors. I did not know the price for this fish until I saw the bill, and it was $72. Veal monzu - 4 stars - The veal was nicely breaded and fried and topped with mozzarella, jumbo lump blue crab, pine nuts, and lemon butter. My husband ate it, and my one taste-test bite indicated that it was flavorful. My husband was not interested in trying dessert, so we skipped it. Our total bill was $178 plus tax, tip, and a credit-card surcharge. Comparatively, I think that Alla Famiglia has significantly better food, but Arlecchino is worth a try.
