First timers - we had a really great dine-in experience! We were craving sushi and randomly picked something close by. It's located in a fairly busy plaza but they have additional parking behind the building as well. We were greeted by a hostess and sat immediately. Our server Candra was such a delight! He was super friendly, wearing a smile, and very attentive. To our surprise, we showed up on a Wednesday and the had 50% off sushi rolls. We had no idea! We tried the gyoza, miso soup, shrimp tempura, angry dragon, and volcano California roll. Everything was great and really delicious! Perfect lunch. We are excited to go back and bring the rest of the family. Fun perk - they have robots deliver your meals to your table. So fun! My kids would love that. They also serve hibachi! Full bar available as well. This would be a fun spot for friends or a date. We really enjoyed it!

Food was cooked fresh of course. I needed more rice. That little scoop was a tease-next time I'll see if I can order another scoop* Service was good. Nice host & chef* I like the location but that parking will get ya. They also have an outdoor area. The weather is getting warmer so take full advantage of the outside

This is what $16.50 worth of steak from volcano looks like. A handful of bites Don't waste your money

The Hibachi Clear Soup was horrid. And in what universe does it have noodles??

I'm on a hibachi takeout kick and I can't seem to shake it lately. Clear hibachi soup, salad with the ginger dressing, fried rice upgrade, and veggie hibachi is my jam at lunch time. I've been scouring UberEats for the best hibachi lunch and let me tell you, fam: this ain't it. Why? 1) my Japanese clear soup/hibachi soup/onion soup tasted like like straight up Lipton powdered pack brought to underwhelming life by hot water. Furthermore, there were noodles(?) in my soup. I've never once had hibachi soup with noodles. This soup was an entire disappointment on a cold, drizzly December day. 2) the salad dressing served with the hibachi lunch was deeply mayonnaise-based, overpowering any essence of ginger that may have been in the recipe. It felt like they were using the "pink sauce"/ Yum Yum sauce that is served with the hibachi dish itself. 3) veggie hibachi with upgrade to fried rice was entirely lackluster. Heavy on the mushrooms and inconsistent textures to the veggies. The mushrooms tasted as if it had a hint of fish, which doesn't bode well for a vegetarian lunch. Half of the onions were soggy, half were so undercooked, I'd ward off a first kiss on a bad date. Barely any zucchini or broccoli. Just a mushy, crunchy, fishy mess. After rage eating my nearly $30 takeout for one after delivery fee and tips, I pulled a short black hair out of my mouth. Given no one in my house has short black hair, I can only guess it came from one of my last bites of the food. Either way, all this to say, there are plenty hibachi spots in the area that are way better than any of the crummy, super sub-par menu items here.

Not surprised they recently failed their health inspection with a 56 especially when they've been doing this.

Great consistent spot for hibachi and sushi. This is our new go to for sushi, especially on Wednesdays. I think the sushi is pretty good for the price! We love the crab rangoons as well! Service is usually good and food always comes out quick!

I've been here a few times now and have been pretty happy with food, drinks and service. Last time was just for drinks while waiting on some other engagements but I didn't realize I haven't written a review yet so here goes. Their menu (both food and cocktails) is pretty extensive so there is something for everyone. The restaurant is divided into 3 areas - sushi, bar, and hibachi and there is also a patio. Plenty of parking if not out front, you can always park behind the restaurant. I usually get lychee martinis and sushi here and they have brown rice option, which I'm a sucker for. The interior is pretty nice, especially for a strip mall restaurant, with unique touches throughout. Bathrooms are very clean, and I can't help it but I always feel like I'm walking on leather. Their floor tiles kind of look like leather strips sewn together. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area and craving sushi.

Steeply overpriced if you opt for takeout. Paid $70 for an extremely small portion of chicken fried rice and 3 small sushi rolls. Expected enough to feed a family of 4 and it wasn't even enough for the two kids. If you get hibachi, there's literally only one guy that does a good job so better ask for him by name. If you get table service, the customer service is usually mediocre at best. This place was previously a frequent go to, but it's been slacking pretty hard as of late. Not planning to return for quite a while.

Hello 2021! My first review of the year!! I have driven past this restaurant countless times. I said I was going to stop and just never seem to. Well 12/31/2020 was the night. Lol! This is in a decent shopping center. Parking is not an issue some spots up front and plenty in the back. There are several businesses connected. Love the interior design of the restaurant. Sorry no pics. You can dine in right now. It didn't look spaced out. Employees were wearing masks. Friendly employees. We ordered to go. Takeout you place your order, pay, return to your car, and receive a call when your food is ready. Not bad. We wanted something simple to eat before the new year. We both got the Volcano Combo rice that comes with chicken, steak, and shrimp. I also ordered the Angry Dragon roll. It was spicy tuna, avocado and shrimp tempura topped with spicy crab and eel sauce. The food was soo good. The roll was pretty good. I ate every piece. Lol. I had some sake at home to drink with it. The Wasabi and ginger was fresh as were the sushi ingredients. The Combo rice had a really good flavor. The shrimp were medium size as were the chunks of chicken and steak. There was a good ratio of rice to meat in the rice dish. I would definitely order both again. I also want to try some of the other sushi rolls. Wednesday is half off sushi at this location only. FYI, if your a fan of sushi. Think that is the day I go back to try a few with friends. Not a bad location. Staff was friendly and helpful explaining menu and keeping the crowd moving. It was quite busy. The food was definitely good. I think I'll try the hibachi next time. Happy New Year!

Not a bad place for Hibachi. The good: the food tasted good, and the skill of the hibachi chef was matched only by his humor. It's a great show, and he was fun and courteous. The decor is chic and attractive. They have free Wifi. The so-so: Service was okay. I waited a few times for a drink refill. Parking can also be tough at peak times. There is plenty of parking further out if you don't mind walking. Some of the servers and workers there seem pretty sullen, while others are clearly glad to be there. Probably like most any other place. It's loud. Really loud. I had a hard time conversing with anyone in my party. Not the end of the world, but this isn't the place to come for conversation. Again, not a bad place, bearing in mind my thoughts above. I wouldn't necessarily choose it again, but I'd tag along if someone else wanted to go.

    10 Piece Shrimp Hibachi dinner

This entertaining hibachi offers GREAT sushi, drinks, and tasty food that is prepared in front of you. Carmelo was a great chef and cooked the food the way we requested. We all enjoyed this family friendly environment. Would definitely recommend!!

My family & I were in the area and decided to stop in for an early dinner on Saturday. We were surprised to find out there was a 45 minute wait for a hibachi table at 6pm. So we opted to sit on the other side of the restaurant with regular tables because there was no wait and we could still order from the hibachi menu. I ordered the chicken hibachi with fried rice ($2.99 upcharge) the meal started with onion soup & a salad with ginger dressing. The soup was so flavorful and very good. The salad not so much. It took awhile for our meals to arrive, but when it did we were not disappointed at all. The food was very good & filling. I had plenty of leftovers. I will definitely be returning in the near future. There was a steady flow of people coming into the restaurant so I can tell it's a popular spot in the area.

The Chef flipped a coal on fire into his hat!

Not sure why the reviews for this place aren't higher! My husband and I went here spur of the moment on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate my birthday! I was skeptical about trying this place bc of the mixed reviews, but I am so glad we did!! It was an awesome experience. This was my first time ever at a Hibachi restaurant like this where they prepare the food in front of you. And I loved it. It wasn't crowded at all, I assume traffic picks up during dinner hours and definitely on different days. But our Chef was amazing! I hate I didn't catch his name but he was friendly, quick, and entertaining. He made my birthday special. He even made me a balloon hat to wear during dinner lol. He did a couple of cool tricks too! All of the food was amazing! So tasty and delicious and hot! I loved that their hibachi comes with so much already. It comes with a salad and soup and your choice of side, and two complementary shrimp from the grill. There is an up charge for fried rice or noodles. But it was worth it the fried rice was amazing. The soup and salad both were really good as well, especially the soup it was extremely tasty. Then the Chef came and prepared the fried rice, meat and veggies. All delicious!! The portion size is also great. We left stuffed! Their drinks from what we could tell weren't bad either. My husband had an Old Fashioned and it was definitely heavy on the bourbon! Lol I just had a glass of wine which was pretty good I just felt it was a little pricey for an 8oz glass , it was $10. The service was good. No issues there. There was a bit of a wait for the Chef to come over and start cooking but they give you the soup and salad while you wait! And of course drinks. Finally, if you celebrate your birthday here they send out a cake on this cute singing robot cart. It was a surprise and really cute! Then they play a birthday song over the loud speakers lol so no live singing to you which I liked bc that can be awkward lol The cake itself however was disgusting lol but I won't hold that against them bc I'm sure it's not their specialty. But I really appreciated the gesture. It made me feel like a kid again! 4/5 stars for this place. We will definitely be back here!! Think it'll make a great date night spot too! We'll try it out on a Friday or Saturday night next time to see how the vibe and service are then.

There's a big dedicated parking lot around the building with plenty of free parking. No valet. We had a party of five and shared a lot of dishes. Here's what I had: Classic Cocktails * Dirty Martini ($15) - Hanson Original Vodka, Foro Dry Vermouth, olive juice, pimento olives Appetizers * Oysters on the Half Shell (12 for $33) - cocktail sauce and horseradish; James River, Virginia Sides * White Cheddar Mac & Cheese ($9) * Hawaiian Roasted Brussels Sprouts ($11) - with smoked bacon and Parmesan cheese Signature Cuts * Cherokee Western Luau (14 oz steak, $54) - ribeye marinated for 48 hours in pineapple, soy and ginger, "a Cherokee favorite;" 1855 Black Angus Beef from Grand Island, NE House Specials * Black Jack Salmon ($34) - wood-grilled and basted with Jack Daniel's glaze and served with crusted mashed potatoes and EVOO broccolini Desserts * Bananas Foster ($12) - flambeed tableside We also got cheese bread to start (bread with melted cheese on top, with a creamy white sauce). Everything was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed everything, starting with the martini, which was well-made. The oysters were big, fresh, and tasty. The Cherokee Western Luau was recommended to me by our server. He was so convincing that my friend changed his order to get a Western Luau too. It was fantastic, perfectly cooked to medium rare. The salmon was terrific as well, nicely cooked, tender, and flavorful (another excellent choice as well). The Bananas Foster wasn't flambeed tableside as described on the menu, so that was disappointing. However, it still tasted good. Our server was Cason B and he was great. He made an excellent recommendation on the Western Luau and was just a nice guy overall. The hostess was friendly too and helped us take a picture in the lobby. Cherokee Chophouse used to be Cherokee Cattle Company. After COVID, it reopened as Cherokee Chophouse in November 2022. It's part of the Marietta Diner and Marietta Fish Market family.

Saturday night we decided to give it a try. Logged in and there was a 20-30 minute wait. It's about 15 minutes away so we put our names in and headed out. At the hostess desk the couple in front of us was told the wait was 45-50 minutes. At my turn I told her we were on the wait list. She checked, and we were seated within 5 minutes!. (They have " hand cut" steaks. Before taking us to our table I was able to select my steak from their case. ) This place is loud. It's a roadhouse, so I suppose the noise goes with that atmosphere. Loud music, and loud people, plus the wait staff sing and do line dancing occasionally, which is just weird. The food was good. They brought out rolls that were great. We had an order of Rattlesnake bites for appetizers. (Jalapeño, no rattlesnakes were involved.) My steak was a little over the rare I ordered, but edible. I ordered chili as a side which was delicious. My second side was a baked sweet potato, which came with brown sugar and cinnamon. (That wasn't listed on the menu and I don't do cinnamon so had to ask for a replacement. - My bad.) My wife had the "Roadkill" chopped steak. She said it was tasty, but a little greasy. All in all an ok experience. The meal total was less than the steakhouse we usually eat at. The noise level was the biggest negative!

WHAT HAPPENED?!?…read more We've been coming to TRH for year and having what we perceived to be some of the best steaks in the industry; however, the last three times we ate hear the steaks have gotten progressively worse. When we went this weekend my entire steak was nothing but gristle! Don't know if they changed their meat supplier for cheaper cuts, but not the was to do business or keep customers. We won't be back unless things change for the better.

From the moment we arrived, the service set the tone for the evening. Our server, Lizzy, was outstanding: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Excellent service like this immediately elevates a dining experience, and she made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the steak. We shared a massive 50-ounce ribeye, cooked beautifully and bursting with flavor. The meat was exceptionally tender, richly marbled, and perfectly prepared -- easily the kind of steak that justifies a visit on its own. Before the main course, we explored the sushi bar menu and ordered the crispy rice appetizer, which turned out to be one of the most memorable dishes of the evening. Tempura-fried sushi rice topped with spicy tuna, chili garlic, and a soy glaze created an incredible balance of texture and flavor -- crispy, spicy, savory, and slightly sweet all at once. It was a standout and a perfect example of the restaurant's successful fusion approach. The sides were solid complements to the meal. The fries were thick, plump, and pleasantly crunchy, while the sautéed onions were classic steakhouse fare done well. The bread service was another pleasant surprise, featuring soft, tender rolls alongside pão de queijo -- a delightful Brazilian touch that we did not expect but thoroughly enjoyed. For a two-person dinner -- including one appetizer, a large shared steak, two sides, and water (no alcohol or dessert) -- the total came to about $300 including a 20% tip. AG Steakhouse successfully blends classic steakhouse excellence with creative menu options that keep the experience interesting and memorable. We left impressed -- and already planning our return. We'll definitely be back.
