Since my first visit on 12/23/25, I've made probably 4-5 more visits since and spent $250 (including merchandise). As someone whose favorite food is donuts, I truly cannot believe how dang good they are. They're always incredibly fresh, the icing is unlike any other donut, the toppings are fresh. Reasonably priced for a premium product. The customer service is always excellent as well. The employees always go out of their way to make sure that any questions are answered and help as much as they can in the decision making process. Every single employee is always kind, caring, and understanding. Special shoutout to Ace for a great conversation and homely attitude. The magic from Voodoo has cast a spell on me. I've been hypnotized and don't plan on snapping out of it anytime soon. Can't wait for my next visit to Voodoo and each subsequently. They never disappoint. read more

I had never heard of this donut shop before we stumbled upon it while walking by. Normally, I'd pass on chain-type spots, but they had vegan donuts, so we gave it a try. The lady at the counter was very friendly and took the time to explain the vegan options. We went with the apple fritter and the vegan maple bar. Unfortunately, the fritter tasted like the oil it was cooked in. The maple bar, while a bit soggy on the bottom, was actually very good, the maple frosting was delicious. Overall, it was a so-so experience, but I wouldn't mind grabbing another maple bar if it's fresh next time. read more

Stumbled across Voodoo on my way to a photo shoot. Located on the corner of Melrose & LaBrea (use to be Chipolte) they are adjacent Pink's. The venue is well maintained and is very vibrant. Parking is on site and there is a parking attendant who I did not engage but more than likely stationed to manage the lot. I did not have to pay for parking. The offerings fresh donuts and baked products. The donut theme ranges from classic to artistic, all making a nice selection of premium products. Coffee was freshly brewed. Pricing is typical for similar shops. I'm sure as they transition, there will be seating so you can enjoy your goodies. Service was great. read more

We got an Old Dirty Bastard and a Banana Cream Pie. The dough here is how I like my doughnuts. They are not overly sweet, or yeasty. Not oily at all. They are very substantial doughnuts. But the toppings and fillings, these are what you come for. There are so many options, and the display cases help tremendously. Everything is out on display. It's almost hypnotizing, watching them spin around. But what a great idea. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about what's in every item. There is plenty of parking and a couple of driveways. It makes popping in and out so much easier. And you can't miss the building, bright pink, right next to Pink's, also bright pink. And the folks walking out with those boxes... Taller than a regular doughnut box, you need that height for clearance! Everyone leaving had a huge smile in their face. For so many good reasons. I mean... a large pink building on the corner of Melrose?! Very eye catching. We were headed for ice cream for my niece and doubled back here right after. Superb service - my boyfriend wanted a dozen of their pre-selected donuts and they were very accommodating by allowing a few donut swaps. I personally thought the donuts were too sweet, but that's to be expected when you start adding cereal and candy on donuts lol, my favorite was the classic bacon maple bar. I tried their cake donut with sprinkles - good but it was a very dense cake donut!! They also had a banana cream donut, decent but super sweet. Going here is worth the experience of tasting new donuts, but it wouldn't be my main donut spot if I lived in the area. I think Pinkbox in Vegas is way better! read more

The shop is clean and welcoming. They have a parking lot which is a HUGE plus. The donut flavors are interesting and delicious. But, the BEST thing about this place is Haley. They are the most welcoming, friendly, positive-vibes person ever. I don't know whose decision it was to hire Haley, but you WON with them. Every person in hospitality should be a Haley. As soon as I walked in, Haley greeted me with a smile and a "let me know if you need any help." I immediately felt wrapped up in their positive energy and felt my mood lift (even though I wasn't in a bad mood to begin with). They greeted every customer with the same friendly, loving attitude. It genuinely felt like being in the company of someone who loved you. Anyway, 5 stars for Haley. In regards to the donuts: - Butterfingerling is always a hit even though I'm not a fan of cake donuts because they tend to be pretty dry. Not this one! This was so moist and airy/light, it tasted like a Butterfingers cake. - Churro Cheesecake was tasty, especially the cinnamon-covered cake part - Powdered Donut was a better version of those little Hostess ones - Maple bar: the maple icing was WAY too thick and it came off in globs. I can't give 3 since I got these for free, but can't give 5 either just because I'm sick of all the satanic themes in Hollywood. Voodoo skeletons and death and all. I know it's a chain but there's a reason they set up shop here, right next to Pinks. They do good business solely from marketing. The donuts taste good like donuts do. I tried the old fashioned, yeast raised chocolate, and powdered cake...standard. This is any other shop to me with a pink theme of dying and witchcraft so...unless it's free, well. They either don't change their oil enough or if they do change their oil there's not cleaning the fryers properly. Or they're just using cheap oil but there's a heavy aftertaste. This donut place was so cute! The donuts were also cutely designed. However, the donuts were only mediocre tasting. I had a donut the voodoo doll and it was barely filled. I had to eat half way to get to the raspberry filling and so was the Portland crème only a tiny little blob in the middle. The donuts were expensive as well and the is melrose for you. You can get the same quality and more filling elsewhere for a lesser price. Additionally, the cashier got the wrong donut for my boyfriend. He asked for the chocolate glazed and received the chocolate cake donut instead. The donuts were unique and had a theme but it didn't taste anything particularly phenomenal. Doughnuts are pretty good, but I definitely noticed the lady that was taking our order was not paying attention. She missed one of our doughnuts, which was one that I really wanted (Grape Ape). I repeated a few times and didn't notice until we got home that we had one missing. For the price im paying which are VERY pricey, you shouldn't ever miss one doughnut. Not in this economy...especially. And she almost added another charge to our order. Thankfully she caught her mistake and apologized and refunded us. Overall it was okay.
