I've tried Voodoo Doughnut a couple of times now, and it definitely deserves a spot on my list of favorite donut shops in LA. While they're famous for their creative and over-the-top flavors, we usually stick to the classics. The glazed donuts and strawberry-topped donuts are always a hit. The donuts are incredibly soft, fresh, and fluffy, with the perfect amount of sweetness. I especially love that they're never dry or overly heavy. Sometimes simple flavors are the best way to appreciate a really good donut, and Voodoo does them well. The shop itself is fun, colorful, and full of personality. There's always something interesting to look at, and the atmosphere makes the experience feel a little more special than your average donut stop. I hope everyone knows the manager Felix Orlando Perez Jr has sex on the clock with his under age employees one of them is Emily a cashier here at voodoo. He is also under the influence of cocaine and he still works this way. He got fired from his management job at prime pizza in Santa Monica for actively having sex with another employee of his and being on drugs and having mental issues and speaking to his employees disrespectful. Voodoo needs to run a deep background check on their employees and whoever they consider for management bc there's this pedophile working at a donut shop and he's 30years old. The staff at Voodoo Doughnut in WeHo were honestly the highlight of our visit. Olivia in particular was super friendly and very patient. She took the time to explain all the different donuts and flavors to us, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the donuts themselves didn't meet our expectations. Compared to the Portland location, the quality felt noticeably lower. The donuts tasted like they were made with lower-quality ingredients and were quite oily.
