Holy sugar! If you want something that is going to stave off any sort of sugar craving, VOVA has got you covered. I tried their dalgona latte because I needed an evening dose of caffeine. I asked if they could adjust the sweetness level and they said they could add less powder. The drink was still incredibly sweet and I'd suggest giving customers more control over the sweetness levels (and type of milk). I also wondered where the signature frothy dalgona foam was. Sweetness level and lack of foam aside, I enjoyed the drink and it did the trick in waking me up. The hub's decaf Americano was one of the smoothest we've ever had and I was a fan of the less acidic roast that VOVA used. I want to love this place but they make it so hard . First time I went they opened and they had no boba. I was told it takes 2 hours tp make , so open later or come in early . Today I went there and the owner was at the counter on the phone , gave me a I second with her hand and walked into the back and never came out about 4 minutes . We have only lived in Vegas for 3 years...once there was a crepe place...and it vanished...and then it because a rolled ice cream place...and it walked away...Hopefully this one will be able to last a little longer than the previous two. It's VOVA...think of it like boba style drinks but they have replaced it with V... They recently opened at the beginning of November and so what better time to make a visit than that week! My son and I went after I picked him up from school on a Friday. The door was plastered with signs to mask up and socially distance. Everyone inside was except for two people who were just talking (I didn't see any food or drink) and one patron who was actually eating. We ordered a Galaxyade, a Caramel Vovaccino (sans Espresso), a plain croiffle, and a creme brûlée croiffle to go. Everything here is about $5 a pop. We waited at a side table and watched as they made drinks before our order was ready and we headed home. The GalaxyAde is a sight to see. It's just amazingly beautiful! The Varista did explain it's best to fully mix before consuming which we agree with. If not, the light bottom layer is a sour, tangy layer but when mixed altogether it's like a sparkling lemonade...but better. The Vovaccino (think Frappucino) was thick and tasty. They had caramel drizzled all along the inside of the cup. It was well balanced and in my personal opinion gives SB a run for its money! Now the croiffles...think waffles made with the flaky layers of a croissant. We didn't even use the syrup that was given for the plain because it was delicious with the powdered sugar on its own. Looking at the creme brûlée almost looked like it was a cheese covered item but instead it was this decadent almost cream cheese icing flavor with hints of that burnt sugar flavor. It was so good! I wished the pieces were a big larger simply because I was sad I had devoured them that quickly. All in all, we will probably go back hoping they last long enough. I would love to try the GalaxyAde with some VOVA (boba) and definitely the other two croiffles, if not my creme brûlée one again. Warning, may cause instant cravings!!! read more
