Vova Cafe has been on my list ever since I spotted they had croffles--haven't had one since my trip to Bali last year, so I was excited to finally try it. It's definitely a hidden gem tucked away in a strip mall, the kind of place you'd easily miss if you weren't looking for it. Ordering is done through a kiosk, which was quick and easy. The mister went for the brown sugar croffle with boba, and I chose the pistachio. While we waited (about 10 minutes), I loved that they had board games available it's such a cute touch and makes the wait feel shorter. The decor is super unique too it almost feels like you're stepping into a 3D sketch, really creative and fun. And the croffles? So worth it. Every bite hit the spot and satisfied both of our cravings. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

Really liked this place! I got the cookies and cream croffle and it was pretty good. Jayze made it and did a great job, she was really nice too. I also really liked the aesthetic of the cafe, it's cute and has a nice vibe. I thought it was cool that they have games you can play while you're there too. Definitely a nice spot to hang out!

This place is under New management. I brought my family while eating next door and glad there is a great drink and dessert place nearby by. We ordered The croffles and slushes and they were all delicious first Time trying croffles. The place was newly painted vs the prior business. Right direction under new management. Cute and clean interior Will be back.

There's an undeniable prevalence of boba competition in the southwest part of the city -- seems like there's a shop on every major corner, so my tea ratings are a little more picky and selective. Working on this side of town, one of my new hobbies consists of trying out boba places on my lunch break. Gives me something to look forward to. Vova Cafe features a unique 2D concept for its ambiance. Fun and novel. Service is efficient, interactions kept to a minimum on both visits. They offer teas and desserts, most notable their "croiffle" which is a cross between a croissant and a waffle. On my first visit, I got their STRAWBERRY MATCHA milk tea, which I did NOT like. The strawberry portion was like a basic syrup lined around the cup. It just seemed to overpower, not complement. To me, the matcha portion tasted overly sweetened and inauthentic. Not my jam. The second visit I skipped their drinks and decided to try their croiffle. I went with the PISTACHIO CROIFFLE, which was good and presented nicely. I didn't really get the croissant vibe, more waffle in nature. I was the only one in the cafe at the time, so I got it pretty fast. Only wish it came out warmer than it did. I probably wouldn't go back for the drinks as there's too much competition out there like I mentioned, but their croiffles are worth trying. Great portion and variety.

Unique black and white designed sketched cafe that offers classic boba drinks! I would say that the drinks are on the sweeter side, so I don't find myself here a lot. The servers are kind. We got the strawberry matcha, and there wasn't that strong of a matcha taste, and the strawberry syrup was quite sweet and overpowering.

I found my milk tea and croiffle spot. They make the best tasting and cooked right croiffle. And I love their matcha with the coconut milk. Service is fast. The only thing I don't like is outside the door there's a young man begging for money so he can buy a drink from here. And also young people like to hang out here and they can be loud and some of them have no manners Like demanding water from the staff without saying please.

Looking for a great boba place to try out? Then look no further! Vova cafe is place! Staff is very friendly and your drinks are made very fast! I really liked how cute and hospitable it felt inside. They have different opinions for you to select from and if you don't want a drink but want something sweet then you have to try their croiffles!

VOVA? A unique name for a unique place! First time here and it was definitely a cute experience. We walked in and it felt like we were in a cartoon! They definitely made an effort to make it look as though you are part of an animation and we loved it! The best part? You can chill and hangout and play games! They had mini games like UNO, Connect 4, cards, and much more on the tables so you can enjoy your drink while having fun too! Oh and did I mention the drinks? If you love boba, you'll enjoy a variety of their selection of drinks and you can customize them too! from sweetness level to iced for smoothie. They'll accommodate you as best they can! We ordered the strawberry matcha milk tea with 50% sweet and it was just the right amount of sweetness! We also ordered the jasmine green tea 75% sweet which was also delicious! Also they have desserts! We didn't get a chance to try them as we were full but definitely next time we will! Their desserts consists of croffles and macaroons! Definitely will be back!

This is such a cute boba cafe off of Warm Springs and Durango and I love their 2D theme. My family and I came one night 1 hr before closing. The staff was already tidying up but was friendly as they assisted us. I got Hokkaido milk tea and the boba was still fresh.

When we first got there we tried to get the combo special that they offered and had on the screen only for it to not be available for some reason, okay not a big deal so I order the pistachios croffel and my drink.The Croffels we had were pretty good, me and my friend enjoyed how they were not that sweet and have a nice balance to them, when It came to the drinks unfortunately they had no boba so then I ordered my brown sugar milk tea with egg pudding only for them to not have that either after I already purchased it. For drinks unless you're really craving boba I wouldn't recommend this place since they seem to be out of all of their options. but I do recommend their croffels. I do wish the music they played was a bit louder as me and my friend had to pretty much whisper the entire time we ate there. read more

LOVE this place!! I was looking for a place that could make a proper Dalgona latte, and I found it!!! And it's so close to my apartment that it's basically a dream come true The Dalgona latte here is absolutely something to write home about Its bold coffee & espresso flavors have none of the acidity of other spots (to be specific I mean Bespoke Café near the Strip -- far too acidic for my taste). And, they don't over-sweeten it, instead letting the Dalgona toffee slowly melt and sweeten the drink perfectly all on its own. AND they have a decent amount of milk alternative options, particularly BOTH oat milk AND Lactaid milk (my lil lactose-intolerant self weeped with joy internally lolol). Also, we got a cookie butter croiffle and although I don't believe they're made in house, they are absolutely worth a purchase. I don't remember the owner's name, but she's super sweet and was very efficient creating our orders. Even though she was the only one behind the bar with 6 orders ahead of ours, we only waited for about 10 min! I believe their hours had changed/been limited during this past year, so folks might not realize their hours have opened back up! 11:00 - 22:00 daily! So do yourself a favor and run (don't walk) to Vova. You'll be happy you did. read more

I want to start by saying the inside of the shop is super cute. The walls are painted as if you're in a black and white 2 dimensional home. Cute and minimalistic. There are a few tables that you can sit, hang out and play some board games which are provided at the front of the store. The associate that took our order was helpful and answered any questions we had regarding the drinks. I got the jasmine green milk tea with boba. Sadly, I was very underwhelmed by the taste. My drink tasted mostly of milk, or whatever kind of cream they used and the taste of the jasmine green tea was nowhere to be found. The boba was alright, pretty standard; a little sweetness and texture was fine. Not sure if this was just a one off since most people seemed to really enjoy what they ordered. Maybe sticking to their specials would be the best best. read more

My husband was driving on this side of town and my kids were craving boba. Found this spot! SUPER cute inside, love all the drawings on the wall that matched the floor, tables and every little detail. Very friendly staff and delicious boba slushes!! How have I not seen this place before? Super kind lady working. Great customer service. Delicious boba. We got the jasmine milk tea and brown sugar milk tea. Both delicious. If you have a sweet tooth I'd recommend the brown sugar milk tea but if not I'd ask for it 1/2 sweet. The jasmine was perfect imo. Walking in all I could think of was how cute it was. It's very simple and monochrome but everything looks hand drawn into the walls and even the floor! It looks like your walking into a cartoon! It's fairly small and I can with my family around 1 in the afternoon and it was pretty empty. The lady working by herself was so nice and patient with us as we figured out what to order. Their expression machine broke so there was no coffee but we will return to try the coffee later. We ordered five items. Three drinks and two different croffles. For our drinks we had the regular brown sugar milk tea, strawberry matcha milk tea, and coffee milk tea. All with boba! All three were delicious but honestly the coffee one was the STAR. IT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD. I personally don't drink anything coffee and I know that's my go to when I return. The croffles we got were the cookies and creme and the crepe brûlée. The croissant waffle is made to order and served warm. The cookies and creme one had a type of whipped creme on top that was not very sweet and very tasty! The creme brûlée was also very good and kinda sweet but that's to be expected. Everything was super good and I totally recommend! read more

I went here one random afternoon to try it since I was in the area looking for a sweet tasty refreshing boba drink. It could possibly be my expectations were set too high as I am a taro milk tea snob and have had taro milk tea from various shops in the valley or possibly I ordered wrong drink, but on my visit my drink was just ok. It tasted milky and the boba was chewy, but I could barely taste sweetness or let alone the taro or tea which is what I wanted. It was basically a cold refreshing purple milk drink in my opinion, but seemed overpriced and underwhelming. It needed something more to elevate the flavor! Anyways aside from flavor of my drink, I took it to go but the exterior/interior of their store is interesting and they have some seating inside and games if you want to sit and play them. The parking lot where they are can get packed so good luck finding parking! read more

I asked him what the paper got us, he wasn't sure so he checked while I downloaded the app to make it easier for old lady to read. Little did I know we didn't need it! Isaiah gave us the royal treatment! He was asking us about flavors and giving recommendations. We started talking a bit and he shared that he's 22 and the assistant manager and that he used to be head chef at the M! Our paths probably crossed we figured out in conversation. He also remembered seeing us at the St. Rose store. Not only is he a chef but also a musician! We basically went w things he loved customising, or drank and ate himself. Mom kept changing her drink every time he'd tell me about a different drink. He was extremely sweet and patient. Isaiah sat with us and took the time to ask about our tastes and preferences. He really knows the menu and what his customers like. He made woman a hot butterbrew but let's just call it isaiah style as I can't remember all the modifications he made. Same with mine, it started as a chai-nnel. I did the toast flight w his recommendations of lox, burrata and egg salad. He said he made a mean turkey pesto, so that's what woman did. She later added a side of bacon w permission from homie upstairs since it's Friday. I'm not sure which toast was my favorite. I think I'd rank lox, then egg salad? It's probably tied with the burrata. My drink was fabulous. The music was cool and we were having a great time. The sando was also delicious, he shared that they make their pesto in house. As a pesto fan, I just became a bigger founders fan! Mom's drink was also amazing. We told him not too sweet, it was delicious and not overly sweet. He said he did 25%. He checked on us and truly rolled out the red carpet. He offered drinks to go, at that point he'd earned our trust and we said go for your life. He did a blueberry lemonade w boba and rose foam? I don't think I'm doing it justice w my description. Mine was toasted marshmallow w graham cracker and I can't remember the rest. They're both yummy tho! Our days been made. Excellent service and genuinely kind people are rare and Isaiah embodies both and more. He even did a little moonwalk, brekkie and a show lol. He's one of the people that will change the world, or your day if you encounter him. Really wanted to give him money to say thank you and support his journey. He wouldn't have it. My husband and I recently visited VOVA Cafe, and we absolutely loved our experience! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Came here again yesterday to give them a second chance. I believe I came around 4:55 and they had a sign posted outside saying they will return at 4:45. I waited until 5:15 and there was no one coming. This was even worse than the first time I came. I'm a regular at the hair salon next door and they always a sign saying they are opening but the leave a note on the door saying they'll be " back" at a certain time but they never are. A friend and I stumbled across this place while we were looking for a late night coffee shop. Much to our surprise we found this shop and discovered it was the cutest hidden gem. Wouldnt be surprised if another food place shut down in this exact location. Their menu is too short with barely customization. Their drinks melt too fast and is too sweet. I can make a lot of them at home and their interior is daunting. Hundred dollar bills? Idk nothing had a consistent theme and this place isn't lasting long. read more

I go here all the time as they will constantly make quality boba wether it is day or night. The staff here is my favorite as one of the ladies is extremely nice and knows my order by heart.
