I got 2 combos, a summer roll and a spring roll for $42.00. The combos are a small hoagie and a small pho. The hoagie had nothing but vegetables and one piece of meat that was so small I had to search for it! When I went in for pick up, multiple employees walked by as I stood waiting to pay. The food is okay, sometimes even good, but the portions are getting smaller and the hoagie are just ridiculous! No meat! I used to absolutely love this place so this is even more disappointing. I swear, Kirkwood Highway is like Hermione's magic, bottomless bag. Despite living in Delaware for more than 4 years and keeping reasonable tabs on the restaurant scene, I still managed to overlook vPho until last night when I finally tried it for dinner with friends. Where did it come from? How long has it been there anyway? How does it have more reviews than half of the Wilmington restaurants combined? Are there magical circumstances that cause it to appear? Located in a strip mall like 75% of notable DE restaurants, vPho is an unassuming shop with a sign that can easily be confused for a Mom and Pop pharmacy sign. There's plenty of parking that wraps around the building. We were immediately seated around 7PM on a Wednesday; I'm not sure if it would be more busy on a weekend. For appetizer, we tried the pork and shrimp fresh rolls, which did not skimp on the meat. The accompanying peanut sauce was also delicious. Our friends tried the fried rolls and the chicken dumplings and were also satisfied. For dinner, three of the four of us ordered pho ($9-11 or so, depending on type). I got the beef pho, and I appreciate that they let you select the cuts of meat you want. I often like to add mixed vegetables to my pho to pretend to be healthy, and I appreciated that the shop lists the option to add veggies right on the menu and even let me sub veggies for one of my 3 meats in my beef pho. The soup itself was amazing --- easily the best pho I've had in DE. The broth was delicious enough that we essentially forgot to add all of the extras because we couldn't wait to inhale it. My friend who got banh mi ($5.95) was also satisfied with her dinner. I didn't feel that the pho was particularly overpriced, but I also am comparing to locations around DE. I'm sure there are better deals elsewhere, but I think this is your best bet without driving to Philly. The service was attentive, friendly, and didn't mind when we lingered until closing. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu, though I will have a hard time not ordering the pho again! read more

I ordered two order of fresh summer rolls and in writing this review they either misprinted the menu or forgot one order as I only received two rolls not four in total. They were okay and the hoisin dipping sauce was decent. I liked the mango salad with chicken. The chicken was nicely marinated, a little on the sweet side if you like that so I didn't have to use the dressing on my salad as it was enough flavor. The other people enjoyed their dishes with mixed reviews on the dumplings so we would like to try again some time to see how the rest of the menu is like and look forward to updating this review. read more

Stopped in with the family, very pleasantly surprised at the quality of every dish. Summer rolls were fresh and delicious. Lemongrass pho was a new experience and was seriously one of the best soups I've ever had. Delicious, spicy, and hearty without being too heavy. We were greeted with a smile by a cheerful older gentleman who ended up being our server. He immediately offered us I've waters and asked if we needed any help with ordering. We got fresh shrimp rolls with peanut sauce, chicken pho, and beef pho. The rolls were good. The broths for the pho were good as well, although I did have to spice mine up a bit. I also thought the chicken was a little dry, however that appears to be common with all the pho restaurants I've tried that use white meat in their chicken pho. After discovering Pho in Florida at the most authentic place I've experienced in the USA I was on a mission I tried just about every pho place in Northern Delaware in 2016/2017 and was not satisfied. Vpho opened up and it was the closest I've tasted to the place in Florida unfortunately the place in Florida is the best pho I've ever experienced but Vpho is definitely worth the trip! Stopped by here on a biz trip. The restaurant is clean and nice inside, nicer than most Vietnamese places. It doesn't smell like greasy food, which is a huge plus for me. They actually light scented candles inside to make it smell good. The waitresses are super nice. It's a family run joint, so you'll see grandma with little grandkids sitting on the side, while mom and dad and older sisters run the show. It was so cute when one of the little girl brought over the sauce I asked for. I ordered the beef pho and fried wontons. The fried wontons are on their special menu. It has pork and shrimp inside. Super crispy and I liked the sauce that comes with it. The broth of the pho was good too. Not the best I've ever had, but pretty good. The only thing that's not so great is the pho noodles inside. I think they're overlooked and they broke apart super easily. I like the noodles that have some texture to it. Overall, it was a good meal at a decent price. We love this place! Usually we would go to Philly for pho but my husband has decreed VPho brisket pho as good as Philly's so thank you for saving me 30 minutes in the car whenever he is hungover. Lunch at vpho cured his Super Bowl hangover so I'd say it's major league. I really like their bento box (get the chicken!). Decided to try this place out with my girlfriend as I am looking for healthier options as I am trying to switch to a more alkaline-based diet, and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised because it is hard to find tasty foods that are not acidic. I got the The grilled beef with vermicelli and it was absolutely delicious The only thing I would change because again I am looking to eat a low alkaline diet is to remove the mushrooms onions and peppers which I did manually this time but next time I will order and ask them to take those out.
