It appears this place is more concerned about going home than ensuring the folks that are here or potentially coming in get fed. Today (Father's Day) at approximately 7:45 pm, we brought in a group of 13 adults, and 3 kids to enjoy some time together while eating a plethora of good food. To our disappointment, there was almost no food available in the buffet. After 10 minutes or so of waiting, still no food. One of our guests decided not to eat out of frustration and we had to ask for a refund for that person. The food didn't come till about 20+ minutes later. Not only where we waiting for food, but so where the guest that where here before us. One of the staffers told me that they were working on cooking food, as they had already stopped to begin cleaning the kitchen. Even the manager on duty stated that they usually stop to clean around 8:00 pm. This establishment closes at 9:00 pm (as per Yelp), but the manager even told me that they closed at 9:30 pm (which is it?). What if we would've came in at 8:30 pm? They were quick to take the over $200+ bill for all of us, but not even the smallest inclination to let us know that there would be a delay on the food. I wasn't expecting much coming in here at first, but I will say that this place has me impressed. For a buffet, the quality of food isn't bad and they are fast about filling up the food. They don't let things go for long without getting a new batch. Quality of food, and freshness is important for a buffet. Also, for the price (12.99 on Sunday), what you get is really good. Outside of the normal "fast chinese food" you can find anywhere, there are plenty of seafood options. Various types of shrimp, oysters, clams, sashimi (wasn't bad at all!) and sushi. They even have a hibachi (essentially a Mongolian bbq) which was solid. We also ordered a pound of crab legs for 6.99. All and all, solid prices. The staff was very attentive in regards to clearing plates, and refilling our drinks. Kudos to this pleasantly surprising gem in the high desert. LA transplant approved. read more

Horrible customer service! My mom and I went with a huge group of friends and she misplaced her receipt after we paid in the front and got seated, the employees were acting like my mom just walked in and wasn't showed to her table. They were making a big fuss overwhelming her while she looked through her purse and pockets and looked on the floor and on the tablet for her receipt and I asked them if they just let people walk in and if they were having such a huge problem, why not just simply check the cameras or ask the person who rang us up in the front? They simply rolled their eyes and walked away, they just said it was fine. What was the big fuss then if they were going to just not care in the end? And why harass my mom? They were also annoyed with accommodating a large group but it was empty except for us, and they would ignore us when we would ask for refills. I love eating here. The food is filling and delicious and there are so many options. This place is a blessing in Victorville and one of the few reasons I ever visit this city. I always do overeat while I'm here and get too full, unfortunately. This place is hard to understand, they let people cut in line. Like there own people. When they take drink refills they take the straw with them then bring it back and then I have to ask for a new one and they don't understand why. The food is cheap for the price. I'm not a fan of buffets, but this one is worth it. Went for lunch, great price, clean overall, food area was super clean. Friendly staff and quick on soda refills. The potstickers were my favorite, the chicken (orange, teriyaki, honey) were amazing. The egg rolls were great as well. Food temperature was good ie., hot foods were hot, cold foods were cold. I am on a low-carb diet so this place has a great selection of delicious meat, various salads and tasty soups, i'm all in. It's an all you can eat buffet for about $16, you really can't expect top restaurant quality. That said, I am so blown away with how good the food is. The barbecue short ribs are as good as dickies as far as I'm concerned. Skewer chicken, baked fish, shrimp cocktail, Beef and broccoli, seafood salad. They have a Mongolian barbecue where you pick your meats and vegetables and the stirfry them in front of you, so cool, and you don't need to add noodles or rice if you don't want to. I think service is good, it's owned and operated by an Asian family and they do a great job, they do seem a little removed culturally, not real interactive, but all they really need to do is bring you drinks and remove the plates, they do a fine job. At the end of the day I would highly recommend this restaurant, it's in heavy rotation for me and my girlfriend, we go there about every week to 10 days. An extreme value if you're like me and eat a lot of meat and veggies! read more

Just noticed this place was here. It is clean. I love a good buffet. Not to expensive. The food however is not even season to buffet standards. Desert section in lacking. Sushi section is minimal. Don't lose your receipt people! My family and I had the worst experience at this buffet tonight. My parents arrived a few minutes later than my kids and I so we paid and got seated first. My mom and dad followed 10 minutes later and also paid at the front with the cashier and then was seated with us. My mom , bless her heart, puts her receipt down on the table and leaves to grab food. The server , in her mad rush to swipe all the plates off our table every 5 minutes must have grabbed my parents receipt underneath one of the plates. This server eventually comes back to ask for this damn receipt to check and see if they paid for drinks. My parents only wanted water., the server gives them a dirty look and leaves . 10 minutes later, the server comes back with a tall Asian man (that later calls himself the supervisor) and once again asks for the receipt claiming they just want to make sure they didn't pay for drinks. My mom tells them again the receipt must have gotten tossed along with the plates the server keeps picking up. So they leave again. Another 10 minutes pass and this damn supervisor comes back asks my mom for the receipt AGAIN and my mom tells him for the 100th time that she doesn't have it , must have gotten thrown away, so this jerk asks her to pull up her online transactions is she paid with a bank card to see if she really did pay! What nerve! I finally got up and went with my mom to the front register to argue with this guy. He embarrasses my mom to the extreme, and when he knows how angry my mom and I both are and arguing with him he tried to dismiss us by saying "it's ok, don't worry" . I answer back "it's too late, don't worry?!, you've been embarrassing and questioning my mom for half an hour at our table in front of everyone!" All for a $20 receipt on 2 senior citizen priced meals (which by the way they didn't even actually give them their senior citizen discount) , for bland, plain tasting Chinese food and with servers that hardly know how to speak English. Plus, all the servers there are so cold , they don't smile , they don't greet you , the way they come by to pick up your plates as if they wanna hit you with the silverware. This place is unbelievable. Never again will we step foot in this horrible buffet. The worst people work there. And that's a lot for me to say considering I'm also Asian. I never thought I'd be leaving a review like this me and my family were here to enjoy a Saturday evening with each other and catch up on past time. When we first enter the establishment the gentleman at the counter was very disrespectful no customer service whatsoever but we still decided to eat and sit down. The food was OK the best thing is the hibachi grill but be mindful he's very rude also. As we begin to sit and eat our food the first hostess came to check the receipts and see what type of drinks we want we all order our drinks Which was okay normal procedure. Another hostess is come around and checking the receipt to make sure that we all pay we didn't say anything at that time because we thought maybe they were just making sure that we were all accounted for. Then we asked for another drink to be refilled and they checked our receipts again as if we snuck people in. I can go on and on about how bad and rude the customer service was we asked speak to a manager they said they don't know when a manager will be in.The lady at the front who runs the register she comes over and begins to argue with us about why we are questioning them about why they keep checking our receipts and no one else in the restaurant. The service was bad I had to put my old plates on the table next to us and they never ask to refill my soda . It was a hot day but the inside was little worm even with the ac and don't go to the bathroom they put a separation door to the restrooms like a space air lock that you go trough 2 doors to get to bath room witch is good but not when they cut off the ac in the bathrooms ! Hot as balls dud I'm not making more room to eat some more but with these tactics someone is going to die in the throne . Oh food was great ,best buffet quality I ever tasted . I read mixed reviews on this place and decided to give it a try.I was very impressed by the freshness of the food and the quality.The atmosphere is typical buffet and is kept very clean any spills were quickly cleaned. The wait staff on the other hand walked by as we tried to flag them down for drink refills.After my wife failed five times to get her drink refilled I managed to get the attention of a waiter . This buffet is great! Honestly I considered it the best buffet in the high desert the food is great, lots of variety, seafood. If you love seafood is the place to go but.....man the customer service is the HORRIBLE! it can be better. The waitresses always look mad and give weird looks. Also agree with other customers they'll speak their language to each other walking away from the table, just very rude. Stop giving refills even they want you to leave. Feels awkward, family comes from LA just to visit this place and they always say why are waitresses like that. If they don't want to be there and serve I think its not the place for them, they need new waitresses they're very bad.
