This location is getting more and more disappointing. If it was not for my son loving the steak bowl so much I would not return. It seems like every time I come in to buy bowls I get less and less meat. I have spoken to the cashiers about my concerns and they could care less. They have scales to ensure the same amount but never use it. They only time I have seen it used is when someone from "upper management" was paying a visit. To come in and consistently spend 40-50 dollars per visit and only get what's seems to 10-15 smalls pieces of diced chicken is absolutely insane to me. During this Covid 19 Quarantine every is trying to supports our local restaurants and today we picked Waba Grill. Although they offer FREE delivery, I opted to pick up. It was faster to pick-up vs 45min.delivery wait. I wanted to share that the food was delicious,and the service was super quick. Young lady did her best on a skeleton crew. 1 cook, and 1 cashier. The salmon taste fresh,not dry. I was offered both brown and white rice,plus salad. Meal under $13bucks! I just wish young lady had gloves while handling our order. Maybe they don't offer employees gloves, but she did have a mask on. Again,I was witnessing her diligent work,and friendly customer service to the other pick up patrons. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch or dinner. Call your order in,and pick up is faster then using their Free delivery service. Again, tipping is most appropriate,and I am sure very much appreciated. As scary as at may be to serve food,and do it with care,and safety. They did a great job. People were nice enough. Paid more than I wanted for lunch. Got barely any steak and brown avocado. The soda fountain shot the fountain head in to my cup and sprayed me with sticky soda syrup. I was told Louisiana sauce was unavailable anymore when I just ate at the Cypress location and they still have it. Really friendly service here. Celeste was at the register and with a big smile to greet me! Place is very clean on a busy magnolia and Lincoln corner, next to the Rite aid. I walked in and it is my second time having waba grill, so I asked Celeste for her recommendation. She asked if I ate seafood. I do!! So she said the salmon is amazing to try, it's her favorite. I have to agree. It was fresh and per the menu, it's wild not farmed. That's a plus in my book!! Everything here is fresh.. not too salty like their competitors, so it's really good. I have come to this location a couple of times and almost every time my experience gets worse and worse. It's very obvious the people that work here don't care. The place is always a mess, with sauce all over the table tops and floors, and you never get friendly or prompt service. Yet I've never felt the need to write a review, until now. Today I came in and stood at the counter for almost 3 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. 3 minutes isn't a long time to wait by any means, but what made it bad was that the whole time I was waiting there were three women in the back talking and laughing and the door chimes every time a guest walks in. One woman even looked up and made eye contact with me but said nothing! Finally, after I had my order taken and was waiting for my food, I look up and see an employee talking on her cell phone while she's cutting vegetables and she's not wearing gloves. Heading into WaBa Grill to try their style, taste, and quality turned out not to be a thrill!! What i ordered is truly what I want when eating teriyaki chicken. I ordered the brown rice and they gave me kale salad as a veggie side item. However, the taste was not within my eating realm. The chicken was not moist and was hard to chew. The kale had no dressing that made it like a salad. The rice was fine but more to eat than any other of your items. The orange was ok but not large. Also, when I ordered my meal, it hardly came out quickly. Bottomline: Again, WaBa Grill was not a thrill and I will be heading to other restaurants that have most of the same in a more tasty manner. I added additional items to my food and when I got home I realized it wasn't added to my meal. I called to ask if there was any way I can come back another day and have those items added to my next meal, because I paid for it. The girl I spoke to just said "no, sorry" and didn't offer any other solutions. I literally paid more money, didn't get the correct meal, and then was told there was nothing they could do about it. So today is June 24th, Wednesday. Now i dont know if its a new employee who has no idea what the word customer service means but at this time theres this young little girl who has the worst attitude and has no business working at any place that requires some form of customer service. This girl lets the phone ring even when its not busy. She misplaces orders, causing me to miss most of my lunch waiting on an order that was never placed. She has poor sanitation skills, she doesnt wash her hands after cleaning and handling a dirty bucket. She does not apologize when she makes mistakes and unfortunately is almost always there when I am trying to place an order. You would have to spend 120 dollars for a free bowl (equals 8.99), which would take some time to accumulate. I used it today and 120 points just gets you 5 dollars off. I detest Yelps star rating method. They should offer "no stars". Pros and cons: Pros: new building, ample parking, clean interior, new appliances etc Cons: inadequate service and employees unable to process a correct order. Constantly having to check your to-go order as well as your dine-in. Okay, this is a brand new location in the Rite Aid plaza. All new building structures. The access to the restaurant is a breeze. Ample parking. My biggest pet peeve is the lack of attention and detail . I'm not sure where the disconnect is between the employee taking the order and the cook preparing said order. I've been at this location five times and every single time without fail they have made an error with the order. Either wrong protein (meats), error in starch (white or brown rice) and lack of comprehension to add ons. Yet, charged for it. I gave them more than enough opportunities to rectify their shortcomings as they're a new business and granted most businesses need to work out the kinks. Management seriously needs to review their employees performance or replace the manager that isn't managing. It's absolutely frustrating to have to correct a order in one dining experience three times!! I figured they would spit in our food as retaliation, ha. I asked for a refund and went to In-N-Out instead and indulged in a Animal Style Double Double with extra toasted buns and a Neapolitan shake to drown my devastation and sorrow. Rebecca was great with me. I bought 4 veggie rice bowls with beef and chicken for Father's Day. Beef and chicken were good but the brown rice and broccoli were hard to chew. Rice should be firm but not chewy. Broccoli should be cooked thorough with a slight crunch. Dad was really disappointed. $43.00 later, so was I. It was around 2:00 pm. Low stars! I just ordered a short rib place with side veggies and Arcadian salad, but they got me two bowls of them. I was like huh? What? I thought they were supposed to put them in the plate together. I didn't ask for spicy Asian salad. I said Arcadian salad on my phone when I showed him. I noticed there's a steak in it. I was like but I said short ribs, then the guy with glasses and braces said they don't have ribs. I was like are you kidding me?? I'm confused. Why didn't he tell me? First off what drew me here was I saw a sign of there new spicy pork. Looks really good so I go in around 6pm and I ask for the spicy pork plate.
