Very Disappointing Service Today, 8/19/2026, I ordered food from this location, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service. One of the employees who helped me had a very bad attitude. I received two packets of sweet sauce and two packets of spicy sauce. I returned the two sweet sauces and asked if they could be exchanged for spicy sauce. Instead, she told me I would have to pay $0.30 per sauce. I didn't have change, so I paid with my card, but I was not going to pay another $0.60 for two additional sauces. When I told her I was returning the two sweet sauces and asked if she could at least give me one spicy sauce, she became upset and threw the bag of sauce toward me. Honestly, this was very unprofessional and disrespectful. After this experience, this will be the last time I come back to this location. Very poor customer service. read more

Ubered Meal Review: Ordered 2 chicken bowls, it seemed like one bowl had a little more chicken than the other. Default sauces selected was the waba sauce which should have been the teriyaki sauce, but it didn't come in or on the side. A bit disappointed and there was definitely an overload of rice vs chicken. read more

Review 29/365 challenge Came here for the 1st time with my mama friend Sue n kids for lunch after Buena Park mall 3.15.25 Located in a strip of food restaurants., Firehouse Subs What we ordered ~ Rib-Eye Steak plate. Marinated to perfection and oh was delicious. Tender meats. ~ half n half chicken w rib eye steak plate was a great option to have the best proteins in both worlds. The salad w an Asian dressing flavor was delicious along w the wontons Karol associate was really friendly, attentive and helpful. Received our plates in a timely manner. If I could give 0 stars .I didn't like today at all. I've always bought food from this place, but today I dealt with two cashiers whose attitudes were terrible when I tried to order. They kept ignoring me and talking in a way that made me feel like they were badmouthing me--I couldn't hear exactly what was said due to the noise, so I let it slide at first. However, when the young woman finally handed me my food and asked if I wanted salsa, she practically threw it at me; she was rude and acted as if she held me in contempt. Food service and patience. Answered my questions about total meat per order. I ended up getting the family meal. Had finished a gym session and a long walk. Refueling with steak, chicken and veggies. 1019-E N. Magnolia Ave. This location in Anaheim is the worst. Constantly messing up Doordash orders. I gave them one last chance today and they completely screwed up the order. The Doordash driver said that he would go back to the store and get the proper order. But the store decided to cancel the order all together and leave me waiting outside of my work. Doordash called me a few minutes later to tell me about the cancelation. NEVER AGAIN with this place. HORRIBLE!!!!! read more

I was half ways done with my bowl and I found a hair I'm so sad I can't even drive back because it was a quick stop for me

I usually come to this location since it is near my house, but after tonight I won't be returning. I came in at 9:10 pm 50 minutes before closing time, as soon as I walk in immediately told there was no more chicken I settled for a steak bowl asked for veggies again told there was no veggies. When my order was done I asked for Waba sauce I was given packets of "wabablaze" sauce, I asked the worker for the waba sauce in the cup she rudely told me that's spicy waba. I wasn't aware that I had originally asked for "wabablaze" sauce. I also got garlic serrano sauce which is normally cold and in the fridge this one was warm and runny. Asked for jalapeños since i guess after a certain time they're put behind the counter? Very Disappointed when i got home and seen my "beef" bowl if you can even call it that seemed to be missing the beef. I'll drive the extra mile to Flame Broiler down the street before I come to this waba again. read more

Foods great but its insanely hot in there. No AC! Especially in this heat. So instead of dining in i ordered for take out. I feel bad more for the employees having to work in such a harsh environment. If this establishment fixes their ac then I'd come back more often. At this point no since im sensitive to the heat and would rather just go to another place with fresh ac so I can enjoy my food with my friends. read more

This is the Best Waba Grill i've been to in the O.C, i really like it because is allways so clean, and the cashier Karol is allways so friendly and helpfull.. Amazing place for me and my friends to have a meal after the gym. Food is great and staff is friendly. Today was absolutely horrendous though. The AC has apparently been down so my friends kept up the sweat stank unlike normally where are cooled by the AC. I can't imagine how hot all those wonderful employees are working in that kitchen. Get the AC fixed, and maybe I'll change this review to what it should be. read more

I come here very often, at least 2-3 times a week. Everyone is super friendly and the food is always on point. Recently there hasn't been AC so I had to take my food to go instead of enjoying it hot and fresh. It's unbearable and I can only imagine how the staff feels working in that heat. It's definitely not safe work conditions and I hope no one ends up hurt or sick due to how hot it is in there. I may end up escalating this to BBB or the city, or whoever I need to reach out to so this gets taken care of ASAP! read more

I was disappointed by the service I received and also because it should have been cleaner. I ordered the jumbo shrimp, rice and veggie plate. I received the shrimp and rice but no veggies. I returned to the counter and was given a side of veggies with no argument. The lady that assisted me was very polite about it and had someone quickly prepare the steamed veggies. Unfortunately, I was given a large, hard chunk of cabbage which seemed to be part of the stem that you would usually throw away There was no one dining at the restaurant and only one other customer behind me but despite that the floors were dirty. There were enough employees working to ensure the place was kept clean and I feel cleanliness should definitely be an eating establishments priority. read more

I was surprised at how horrible the customer service is at this location. There were 2 customers dining in the lobby, one employee on break and one employee in the lobby. I walked in and went directly to the counter. Ignored by the lady doing the cooking. I said hi. She looked at me, said nothing then went back to cooking and said something in Spanish to the employee on break. Employee on break gets up, goes to the back, washes her hands, puts on gloves and starts cooking next to the cook. I said hi again. The cook looked at me again and then went right back to cooking. This particular Waba Grill is top-notch compared to other Waba's I've been to. They're located next to several other businesses, and do a great job in holding ground and making sure the experience for the customer is priority. Service is good for the most part - some confusion every once and a while - and the place is clean throughout. I've never had a food issue here, and I always have good meals when I stop by. read more

I was there 8/1/23 at 9 pm. we received our food at 9:19 pm, and the cashier who didn't have a name tag told my husband they were closing in 20min! I also overheard her tell another customer that they close at 9:40pm. You could tell he was upset, and since he saw us sitting down, he also sat down to eat. Their website say they close at 10 pm. What's worse is that I got FOOD POISONING!! I have a sensitive stomach, and I felt gross right away. The health department need to drop in on them! read more

Really friendly service here. Celeste was at the register and with a big smile to greet me! Place is very clean on a busy magnolia and Lincoln corner, next to the Rite aid. I walked in and it is my second time having waba grill, so I asked Celeste for her recommendation. She asked if I ate seafood. I do!! So she said the salmon is amazing to try, it's her favorite. I have to agree. It was fresh and per the menu, it's wild not farmed. That's a plus in my book!! Everything here is fresh.. not too salty like their competitors, so it's really good. Finally a Waba Grill near my house. An healthy options to eat after the gym. They have a good healthy options like instead of the rice you can replace it with veggies or get their salad. I like getting the chicken veggie bowl. The flavors are solid and the teriyaki sauce is very well made. I also like how they have chopped up green onions by the soda fountain. Their portion are less than other teriyaki places. So far they have good customer service and good atmosphere, healthy and fresh. And a message to WaBa. Try to always keep clean, have wonderful service and good quality of food. Trust me people care about that the most. If not your going to receive bad ratings like other waBa grills. read more

Ridiculous I came in to have dinner with my husband and baby and the customer service sucked it was freezing cold and I requested the doors to be closed and the cashier said that the owner has prohibited from closing the doors rain or shine.
