Stopped by before work on Tuesday afternoon and ordered a Salmon/veggie bowl. As I waited and waited and waited, two of the employees began to argue with each other in front of customers.The cook then threatened to clock out and leave when a different employee attempted to calm them down and told both of them to act professional. After noticing everyone after me had received their ordered. I asked the female employee for my ordered as and explained all this waiting was gonna make me late for work. She stated Salmon takes longer then started to pack my order. Later during my lunch break at work I noticed my salmon was NOT salmon but CHICKEN!!!!! I don't eat meat due to sensitivities and had to waste my food. I work night as a nurse so that left me on 12 hrs of starvation, not cool at all when everything else is close at night. read more

Second time in two weeks that I have gone to this location and the food wasn't cooked all the way. I'm a huge fan of WaBa grill however the employees that are at this location are very sloppy and don't take there job serious. Last time my food was way undercooked, I called and addressed it with the assistant manager then I decided to give them another chance and my food was undercooked today as well. Last time my veggies were not cooked at all and today my chicken was gummy and chewy because it was not cooked thoroughly. Undercooked food can be a health issue and is unacceptable. This location needs to clean it up or be turned in to the department of health. read more

So here's the deal... I've never been a Waba Grill fan for basically no reason at all. With so many other fast food choices I always ended up elsewhere. The Waba Grill by where I live was right next to a Subway so whenever I was craving healthy I would think about trying the Waba place but always end up walking into Subway because its what I already knew. I'm like a dog I guess I can't learn new tricks. But today...... This dog learned how to jump! Lol On my 45 minute lunch break searching for somewhere close to my job, something quick and easy to grab. And I found Waba Grill and finally decided to give it a try. And I'm glad that I did! I ordered the salmon plate it took about 15 minutes for them to whip it up. That's fine by me. Salmon was good, not the best ever bit for fast food quality wasn't too shabby! I would order it again. I just didn't like the nasty salad and unripe fruit they served it with. The salmon and rice were good! read more

I have been to many, many WaBa grills over the last 10 years, first time at this one since my company relocated nearby. The cashier was very nice and friendly and the chicken and rice was alright but the salad was laughable, it was 1/3 of the amount ive gotten anywhere else, dare I say maybe 1/4, I dont know how anyone thought that was acceptable. I'd give this place negative stars if I was able to. I don't know how many times I have to go back to a restaurant in hopes of getting a better experience. This Waba Grill location is quite possibly the worst one in the state of California. It always smells like old wet towel, the workers never feel like they wanna take your order or assist you in anyway, and the furniture and tables are extremely damaged and are always dirty. Definitely take your family or your lunchtime somewhere else. I've learned my lesson for the final time. No more chances. read more

Food wise nothing different from any other waba. But customer service? HORRIBLE. I walked in clearly ready to order & the girl is gossiping & cussing out loud with another employee about another employee. When she finally finished her conversation she comes to take out order. Once our order is ready I had to ask her for my garlic Serrano sauce that she didn't add (after I paid for it) & she got upset about it. Worst location. read more

WaBa Grill has always been expensive. Chicken or beef in a small plastic bowl of rice. But now it's out of control. I ordered 2 chicken bowls to go for lunch and it cost me over $18 dollars. $18 dollars?? Are you effing kidding me?? And the worst part is the entire portion of rice and chicken was small. I used to like this place until I stood by the soda fountain and could smell the urine from their restroom. Then I received my chicken bowl made up of mostly dry brown rice and a few pieces of chicken. Drizzled my bowl with waba sauce trying not to smell the restroom, walked over to the counter to pick some dry jalapeno and pickled carrots, sat down and had to eat with some very annoying rap music playing loudly through their speakers. Who listens to that crap rap while eating lunch!?!? Might as well get a frozen teriyaki bowl at Ralphs for better enjoyment. Pay attention management. Your place looked empty today. read more

Placed an online order and they charged me for the order. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, they were closing. When I asked if they could just give me the order, they said no. When I asked if they could issue a refund, they also said no and that I would have to call to get the refund. This used to be our go-to for pick up; however, their quality has declined so there are more "misses" than "hits." We usually do online orders. Unfortunately, their online ordering system does NOT reflect what is instock. Drinks are constantly out of stock. I am well aware of supply chain issues, so it would be good to reflect the online ordering system to reflect what is available so consumers can pick an alternative. As for food quality, it's gone down pretty bad. The broccoli is usually a hit, however, the color is yellow when we pick it up. I don't know if it's overcooking or just sitting there for a long time. Usually, their broccoli does last a couple days, but for the past few times, it's only been lasting less than 2 days and there is a sticky residue; apparently, the broccoli had already gone bad and they still cooked and served it to me. Also, you pay extra for broccoli only (bc my kid loves it), so I do pay the exra., So you can imagine how not happy I am when I open the bowl (after driving to pick up and arriving at home) to see it is mixed vegtables. Their customer service is always, "just come back with your receipt and we'll replace it." I know it seems pretty straight forward and easy, but when you have hangry kids and doing it on your own, it is NOT easy at all to just leave the house again in order to rectify a mistake the restaurant made. Usually, I am pretty okay about mistakes being made, but I've noticed it's nearly been every order I've made that there is some issue. The workers are awesome and super kind. So I don't know if it's management, short staffed, or whatever it is, something needs to be addressed and done. read more
