The men's restroom made no sense. The has towel manual dispenser was about 7 inches from the urinal. If you have big hands you have to avoid touching the urinal while you crank out paper to dry your hands. Long waits and the steak was tough rice was hard. Your new phone ordering system is awful. Hire people that know how to take your order if you're not going to have it done in store anymore. I repeated our order 10 times and came to pick it up and it was completely wrong. Now I have to wait another 20 minutes for them to recook everything. Very frustrating. Yikes. Service is lacking!!!! Flys. Over cook food. Can't see this location staying open long.. Not what I am use to with WaBa Grill. The one in Chino is Excellent. I heard they each have different owners so that could be a big reason. My wife's chicken was over cooked. My beef had little flavor. Neither meal came with vegetables like in the picture. When we asked they said there owner isn't doing vegetable. Maybe you should take the pictures down. There was only one other guest in the dinning room and almost all of the table were dirty. He was very friendly and accommodating. We appreciated that he took the time and effort to make this situation right. I hate leaving bad reviews but this one has to be done. I went placed our order to go and after went home. As soon as we got home and started getting our plates ready we notice the restaurant made a mistake in our order so we called ahead to inform them we where returning because there was a mistake. The young ladies over the phone was so short and bothered about the situation. When we got there from the start rolling their eyes at us and being so rude and made it out to be our fault even accused us of eating the other plates we ordered (we left the correct ones at home) but clearly our receipt has our correct order so obviously the restaurant made the mistake and we just brought that one back we didn't expect anything but our order to be redone correctly, well 3 of the girls had so much attitude and was rude to my husband it left a bad taste in our mouth and kept our receipt and wouldn't return it. I've been coming here for the past few years and it's been a weekly thing after work with my girlfriend. We came here last Thursday and found out they didn't give us our avocado for two bowls after doing a mobile order. We didn't call in after they closed because I understand what it means when the store wants to close and someone is there complaining so I decided to mention it the next time I go. I went in today and mentioned it to one of the workers that looked liked the manager. I told him about our missing avocado the time before, and he looked like he would correct it but as soon as I checked my food after I left the store there was still NO avocado!!! I usually love the food here, but yesterday was a huge miss. The vegetables were not good. I ordered a family meal and had to throw most of the vegetables out since the cabbage was made up of mainly large white pieces....like the very tough part of the cabbage. We did not enjoy it. I went a couple days ago because a friend of mine told me about their new vegan option. She's vegetarian, her sister eats meat and vegan food, and both told me it was really real! I went and ordered the vegan steak bowl with veggies. About five bites deep, I'm thinking holy crap they really nailed it with this one... until I got a really fatty piece of meat. I grabbed my receipt and went to the front to ask about it only to have the manager make the situation completely worse. Not only did she accuse me of yelling at her "underage employee" when I kept a calm a voice, she told me there was no need for me to escalate the situation when I kept very calm considering the circumstances, she refused to give me my money back because I ordered wrong. Because I asked for the "vegan steak bowl" instead of the "plantspired steak bowl", they gave me real meat. I've worked food for over two years, if there's ever any question about a customer's order or a new item that may have allergens or fit a specific diet, I ask questions. Instead, they didn't hear word for word what was on the menu so they gave me the default. When she finally agree to giving me a refund she tossed the money down and walked away. Customer service needs work. The cashier (thin Hispanic lady) doesn't seem to care when your order is taken. If you ask questions, she gets annoyed. The way she takes your order is rude. She leans on the cash register on one arm and doesn't even make eye contact to you. If she hates her job that much, then maybe she can find another one. I asked her a simple question about how many ounces of chicken do I get and she said, " I don't know, that's not my job, that's his job" referring to the cook. I also ordered "EZ brown rice" and there was an additional charge for that. I feel that customers should be notified if there are additional charges before being charged. What BOTHERED me the MOST about my experience here, surprisingly, was not the food though, it was the female (Indian) employee. Although my husband stood by me while I did all the ordering, the girl employee barely glanced at me. She seemed more interested in smiling and trying to address my husband about our order even though I was doing the talking. I didn't get the impression that she was interested in my husband, I think it was more about the fact that he is Indian and so is she, and I am not. I thought that was extremely RUDE! Gave this location another try tonight my daughter loves Waba Grill and we live around the corner. The place was super dirty, beyond just a late night rush. The floors were dirty and had sauce all over them. There were two small trash cans full of trash. The sauce area was disgusting, no effort at all to keep it clean. The kitchen was filthy with sauce splattered all over the front and back of the grill, which also did not look particularly clean. I am in other Waba Grill restaurants at least twice a week, never have I seen a kitchen in this condition. The workers were oblivious to the mess, many were just standing around. Ordered two steak and chicken plates without drinks, and was shocked that the to go bill was more than $17. The "fruit" that came with each plate was a half of an orange cut in three pieces. The meat was overly salted, everything was bland tasting, and the portions were small given the price. Despite wanting to support Eastvale's tax revenue by dining locally, we won't be going back to WaBa. This is a terrible experience and I have battled with myself to post this because I have not spoken to a Manager and I am embarrassed of what happened. My son and I stopped here to take some food to go and he wanted teriyaki. So when we walked in we asked if they had teriyaki and there was a new girl at the register and she said "no" we don't have teriyaki and I said are you sure ? I remember having it here before and that's what I said to her. She then said "this is not a Chinese place ". I am half Japanese but for her to say this was insulting and rude. I know teriyaki is not a Chinese dish. For her to make a comment like that was racial to me. Then the other girl said did you mean the wabi sauce and I said yes that's it. Taste a lot like teriyaki she said. So I reluctantly placed our order for the steak with the Wabi sauce and it was definitely what I had remembered. So the nice girl was helping her put our order in the register and the same girl with the rude comment told her to stop because she has to learn (very rudely). So I talked to the girl that was walking away and told her that that girl was very rude and I really can't believe she told me this is not a Chinese restaurant!!!! I really wish I would've gotten the names of the girls but I think I will go there and speak to the Manager or see if I can get the name of the really rude one. Like many other locals, I'm so tired of fast food, sit down chains, mass audience pizza joints, and Americanized fast food Chinese. Can we get some fresh food without too many chemicals around here? Well, Waba isn't exactly an independent restaurant. But at least the food is more healthy and fresh than all of the other options around here. I've been here a lot of times to order their chicken bowl or plate. I'm not a fan of their steak, and I haven't tried the salmon. On my bowls and plates I get the white rice, and have the green onions as well. So why the three stars? Like many others have pointed out, the service is bad enough to make you feel crappy. You're just another asshole is the attitude many of their employees seem to take. I can also confirm that the dining area is filthy. No one is out making sure that the tables and chairs are wiped down, clean, and that the environment is inviting.
