20 Dumplings... First of all, the wait is long as hell... only upside is they got some throwback music to kick it to while you wait in line. Almost always were the dumplings being burnt or the ribs being too small compared to other orders. The cook in the back seems to be half assing it most of the time. They can't even chop the ribs right let alone all they do is chop it up in the back mad laggin the line. I come to this Waba Grill at least once a week during my work hours. Not only is the food delicious (and generous with portions), but one of the staff workers has amazing customer service! Deborah is super polite, always has a smile on her face, and is super fast paced when preparing food. She definitely has a great work ethic. I'm not one to give Yelp! This place is AWFUL. The first time We came it was a great experience. Food was delicious and fresh and the staff was friendly and helpful. That was their first week. I tried a couple more times. Food was awful but based on my first experience I hoped it was an anomaly. I placed an order for a family meal. It was supposed to be ready at 6:20. Still not ready at 6:40. I asked for my money back and was told they couldn't do that. I asked to see a manager. I was told there was no manager. I was then given a bogus "manager" number to call. Came and waited about 15 min after ordering my food. There was line of at least 5 people. Not sure what the big hold up was with one car but highly recommend better management of large orders or orders that will hold up the regular drive thru. I've been here a couple of times and seen they ask those customer to wait in the front while they get all the quick and smaller orders out of the way to prevent a large wait. The food is good and lives up the expected waba grill quality. The drive thru is super convenient. I'm giving them 4 stars based on the fact that this issue only came up the 3rd time I've been here so I knocked 1 star off for that. Other than that the previous 2 times I would've given them 5 stars. I know they are new and need to get the hang of things so I hope this recent experience isn't the norm. Just walked in and got ignored by the young male cashier who was in the back talking to the cooks. when he finally walks over to take my order he can't seem to work the cash register. I'm usually patient if I feel people are still learning but he gives no explanations as to what he is doing. Tried this for the first time tonight and I was pleasantly surprised the food was very fresh! I received the chicken teriyaki meal that consisted of fresh white meat teriyaki chicken, a salad, and potstickers. It was delicious and filling, the perfect portion, and the teriyaki and potsticker sauce was tasty as well. The service was also amazing !!! I went through the drive through and the server said sorry for the wait, but they were making more rice.... I don't mind any wait for something that is going to be fresh !!!! I ordered from here despite all the negative reviews as my husband loves another WaBa location. My Uber Eats driver was very prompt and I live less than a 1/2 mile from the restaurant and yet my food was cold and disgusting. I ordered a family sized meal for 4 with chicken/steak, rice and veggies, 3 shrimp tacos, and paid extra for several sauces. I only received the 3 tacos and they were inedible and nothing else, not even the sauces I paid extra for. My bag was sealed shut with my order receipt clearly taped to it so I know this wasn't an Uber issue. We will never order from here again. For me to complain it has to be really bad as I have placed 3 to 4 delivery orders a week for years and this is only the 2nd time I have felt the need to complain. He came 8:20, which should have been the first RED FLAG or the fact that he didn't greet or introduce himself or said something for being late. He came and told me: "Sit in this side. I'm sitting there. Not even a please OR a Good Morning!!! Second RED FLAG then He tells me What's your name and phone number and tell me about yourself?"" After I introducing myself, explain where I've worked and where I live. He looks at me and says Well that's not good enough I'm not just going to give you the job just because you told me where you worked or if you live nearby. We have the right amount of people working for us and we don't need any more but if you tell me more ,sure we can hire you , after hearing that I just said that by looking at your attitude I'm not interested in working here. God, if you don't need people, then WHY do you have the NOW HIRING sign up? So people, if you want to work here, get your biography ready, maybe that's why some employees don't care about doing a good job,for what I read in the reviews.
