The worst customer service and lack of professionalism. My equipment was there for 50 days and they had not even looked at it. I called four different times to get an update and they kept telling it hasn't been looked at yet. Even though I was told it would be ready in two weeks. I gave them a chance, 60+ days to respond -- NOTHING, so now: March 8, 2024 Brian Schroeder, President Waco Motorsports Dear Brian, First, I want to thank you for your helping me with a new Avon front tire for my Yamaha FJR 1300. I appreciated that. I also was grateful for you telling me (when I asked) that it would be about $70 to install the tire and that I would come back in a couple of days to do that. Well, I came back just a few days ago and made an appointment with Austin. I mentioned what you had said about the install price. He said they would let me know when it was done. It was finished in about 55 minutes. I killed some time in your firearms department and bought something. When he told me it was ready he presented the bill of about $210. Of course, I kinda flipped out. It was right at TRIPLE what you told me it would be. I told Austin this, and his response was that they billed on the "Book Rate" no matter how long it took. Book rate was 1.5 hours. So, I told him it was unethical to charge a customer for time you did not work on the bike. We haggled and he brought it down to about $175-178 if I remember correctly. Keep in mind NO other work was done on the bike. This was the charge ONLY for installing the tire. While I disagreed vehemently with him, and told him you said it was about $70, I went ahead and paid the bill. He also gave me a price on the rear tire: $384 for the Avon, and 2.2 hours for install, which at $120/hr. works out to $264, for a total, not including tax, of $648. The next day I had occasion to go to Axtel..., which was also a motorcycle shop. I got a quote there for an Avon tire in my size (185/50ZR17) installed and the TOTAL was $261.61 (installation was a flat $90). Well, as you can imagine, I took a DEEP breath and said, "OK, I'll be back to get that tire put on" (I did not have my bike at the time). So, at this place I can get the same tire installed for less than the labor to install at your store. And, in reality out the door for 38.5% of what your store would have charged me. That is astounding. I don't know if Austin is doing what he is told to do, but it seems as though it is different from what you told me by a far stretch. Not good business. We bought a used Hisun Tatic 750, that ended up with some problems. The team at Waco Motorsports has fixed the issues and because of them we have a machine that we can trust and enjoy. The folks we worked with have been honest and very helpful during this process. We live in Temple and will always take our Hisun and Polaris to them for service. They kept our UTV for a month and tore it apart and didn't do anything to fix it or put it back together useless place! They literally closed the gate and wouldn't let anyone in to their business yard because they were behind on paperwork! If you want it fixed don't bring it here! read more

I understand working through the ghost in the machine on a new product but to top off the bad product their service SUCKS!!! Friendly staff. Brought my front Dirtbike tire and tube in for a tube change on a Saturday. They charged about $68 to do just a tube. Not a lot but, I was quoted an hour and it took about two because they had other jobs ahead of me. They filled the tire to the proper psi. And didn't tear up the tire up. Thanks! read more

I can't comment on the service department, but my experience with the sales team -- in particular Todd -- was excellent. They made me a good deal on a new UTV and worked tirelessly to find several accessories that were out of stock everywhere I looked. They even delivered it to me in Cedar Park and the delivery driver was a wealth of information for a new owner, covering things like tie downs, tips driving the vehicle on and off a trailer, etc. I could not be happier with the entire experience. If I could give it a worse score than that single star, I would. It was my experience that this business was shockingly unfair, dishonest and irresponsible with motorcycles they agreed to repair and sell for us. We were repeatedly told dishonest answers by one service person only to have those answers contradicted by yet another service person, also untrue. We checked the prices they charged us for simple repairs and the robbery was sickening. There was nothing we could do, since we live out of state and had no way to hold them accountable. Do not do business with Waco Motorsports unless you have money to throw away. We would have done better to just drive our bikes into a ditch and avoid the insulting, dishonest and discourteous service. We were promised a "check was in the mail" for over a month and our calls were ignored, disconnected and treated with little or no regard. As we see it, we were literally stuck like a pig! read more

They don't call you back, don't readily get you in contact with a manager, when you finally get a manager on the phone they tell you they sold your bike for one amount & then cut a check for a fraction of that many weeks later. SAVE YOURSELVES!!!! I purchased the tracker grizzly bowfishing boat for Waco Motorsports and had roughy $3k worth of upgrades done to the boat. I paid for two 75a converters yet they put two 55a converters on the boat. They bolted them to the base floor of the boat in a place where water could easily get to. They also removed the fire extinguisher and refused to replace it. All in all it has cost me an additional $1500 just to fix their screw ups on my boat. Good luck dealing with the general manager. He is the owner's son and is as shady as they come. Customer service is the last word that I would ever use to describe this company as there are zero ethics in the management positions of this company. All that they care about is making the sale and from there on out, you will be on your own. They won't call you back and I'm pretty sure they screen calls after they have received your initial complaint or issue. My boat now runs the way it was intended to no thanks to this company. Took my moped to get a flat tire replaced and they ended up over charging me and returned my moped 5 times louder than when I dropped it off. When I initially called, the guy said it would cost 45 dollars, but I ended up having to pay 120. I live in DFW and was in the market for a Wildcat 1000 UTV, I spoke with 3 dealers in the DFW area and was not treated well by 2 of the 3 and decided to widen my search. I ended up calling Jack at Waco Motorsports and was treated very professionally and courteous from my initial contact to the delivery. I was called back promptly with follow up details and the price was even better than the local dealers in the DFW area. I was greeted at the dealer and treated well by the different salesman, the guy in parts and was shown the service area. The owner was busy but came up and introduced himself and thanked me for my business. I have been self employed for 29 years and always strive for customer service and professionalism which Is also what I found with Waco Motorsports. I took my Polaris Express in and told them it needed a starter. They 'checked it out' and a few days later called and said it only had a loose wire - cost was $182. I hauled it home, we rode it less than 30 mintues and then it wouldn't start. So, I hauled it back, and sure enough...it needed a starter. Then, they called to say they would have to take out the clutch to change the starter and at $100/hr, it would probably take 3-4 hours. I approved the work. A day later they called and said it needed a belt...I approved that work. The cost for these repairs was $600. Within a couple days of having it back home, the belt came off. We called and told them expecting they would fix what they didn't do right the first time and they said no. I found another mechanic and when he looked at it he found the clutch had been reassembled BACKWARDS! So I paid $300 for incorrect work that they wouldn't correct, then I had to pay someone else to do the work correctly. DO NOT TAKE YOUR MOTOR VEHICLES THERE. Crooks. read more

I bought 2 ATVs from here this past year. So far I have had 3 neg. experiences. Had to bring back a dead battery the first weekend just to be able to ride it. Bought 2 oil replacement kits - one had the wrong filter in it, had to come back and get the correct one. Just picked up my ATVs after they have had them for a month expecting them to have done some work under warranty only to find they charged me ~ $150.00 labor to tighten a battery terminal and hose off some dirt. The noise one makes, which is not normal sounding, the service guy says all of them make. Yet, I've never ridden another one that had made the same high pitched CONSTANT SQUEAL, it is deafening! I would NOT recommend purchasing from this place. The service dept is horrible!! Customer service or satisfaction is poor! read more

Service department total ass****s!! Sorry that 1 star is the lowest I can give them. Had scooter for my Baylor student that needed attention. They told me they wouldnt even look at it because they were soooooo busy. OK. I took it to Bargers also in Waco and they were OUTSTANDING! Scooter running great, son happy, I'm happy... and I assume Waco Motorsports is still busy. I cant fix that but I for one will never be back!!! I recently purchased a new Can Am Maverick from Waco Motorsports and was told all recalls were done on my new machine. I recently found out a major recall was not done on the machine and also while talking with Can Am customer service that Waco Motorsports did not register my machine. It has been 7 weeks since purchasing the machine and this will affect my warranty since there was a promotional warranty available at the time purchase. Can Am has opened a case for my new purchase and helping me resolve the issue. I also was told by another Can Am dealer that they have had other customers have the same problem when purchasing from Waco Motorsports. Do yourself a favor and avoid the problems with Waco Motorsports. read more
