On 05/10/19 I went to Wade ford to have my newly purchased vehicle serviced with the free oil change and tire rotation that was provided. While getting back into my vehicle, my wife noticed that her sunglasses were missing from the center console of the vehicle. They were inside of a sunglass case and inside of the center console. I searched the vehicle multiple times and even searched the area that we sat inside the building. I just did not want to believe that they came up missing by one of the service tech's. My previous salesperson, Mr Ferguson noticed that I was wandering throughout the building. He ask if everything was alright, and I advised him of the situation. He immediately walked my wife and I back into the service department. He got the service writer, Christy or Krissy to stand with us as he went to the techs to attempt to gain further information. He was unable to. He then also reached out to the Customer Service Manager, Carroll. I spoke with Carroll and advised her of the same situation. She advised us to sit in the lounge area and she would get back with me. Carroll and the service writer were able to locate the sunglasses in the automotive shop sitting on a techs tool box from what I was told. The tech advised that the sunglasses were found on the ground in his work area. But, that still doesn't answer the question of why was a tech in my center console for an oil change/tire rotation and removing the sunglasses. I thanked them for returning my property, and Carroll was quick to try to get me to leave. At first I did begin to leave, and then thought further into it. I went back to the service writer and obtained further information such as the names listed in this review. Carroll saw me and once again, was there with me. No problem, it is her job. But it was the fact of her trying to get me to just leave the area. I advised her that a police report would be made on the incident and ask if they have video cameras that would show this incident. She stated that they did. She advised that she would reach back out to me. 05/21/19 I contacted Carroll and was told that nothing further had been done. Carroll advised that she would email management to see what could be done. I thanked her and went about my day. I received a call back 2 hours later from Carroll stating that the email had been sent and I would be contacted by her again. She also stated that the manager advised her to do what was needed. I expressed my disappointment with the company and the lack of care for their customers and their belongings 05/25/19 I contacted Carroll to find out that nothing further had been done. I was advised she would reach back out to me. 06/06/19 I reached out to Carroll. I was told that the videos don't catch the inside of the vehicles that the techs work on, but do see who entered the vehicle. Carroll sstated that an internal investigation had not been done. I expressed my disappointment with Wade Ford. When I expressed my disappointment, all Carroll had to say was that I lied about the cost of the sunglasses. I showed her what the sunglasses looked like on Google which had a different price listed than what was paid. I wasn't asked how much I paid. I was advised that I would be reached out to. I received a call back one hour later from the service manager, Jason. Who stated that an investigation had occurred. The techs were spoken to. Neither tech knew about the sunglasses other than them ending up on the shop floor. I was advised that I was "assuming" that the sunglasses were in my console. So not only was something almost taken from me, I also get called a liar for a second time for stating where the sunglasses were. Yes, I searched the building because I didn't want to believe it. He stated there was nothing further he could do, and I brought up that I would have been more accepting of this information 3 weeks ago. I do not recommend Wade Ford to anyone. I hate that it has come to this because I truly enjoyed my experience with Mr Ferguson and the service writer. But apparently the customers are not a concern. read more

Awful! A guy working there left the place with my keys in his pocket, leaving me waiting in the heat 30+ minutes when I came to pick up the car. The staff lied about it, then finally got the keys back. He had no (legitimate) business having my keys in his pocket in the first place, let alone taking them somewhere else. After having my car there 6+ hours, for not much work, they sent me away without mentioning that two major things had failed their check. I found out from contradictory paperwork. Even though there were major things that they didn't mention that really needed fixing, they claimed I needed to come back soon to service things that didn't need servicing. These guys were too sorry to even replace the sticker on my windshield showing that the oil change had been done. Again, awful! read more

Just bought a car there over the holiday, and the experience was fantastic! I highly recommend going to see Nathan Crocker - he was the best car sales person I've ever worked with. He was not high pressure, but was very helpful, patient and friendly. They didn't have the exact model I wanted on the lot, and instead of trying to talk me into purchasing something they did have, Nathan found the exact vehicle I wanted in another state, and had it brought to the dealership within a day. Teddy Brown 1 review just now-Edit So where to start.I bought a Used F150 and was told clean Car Fax, its a good truck, traded in from the second dealer and that their shop had gone through it and serviced it and checked everything and it was ready to go. Well, close to the end of my 2 hour drive home, I was informed by the local Sheriffs office that I was not so ready to go. He informed me that I had numerous bulbs out on the truck including a headlight bulb. Really, I just bought this truck and it was supposed to have been checked out by their shop. So he let me go with a warning since I had just purchased it. I got home and called the dealer to advise them and the sales manger actually handled the situation very professionally. Told me to replace the bulbs and send them the bill. Well I was ok with that, changed $65 worth of bulbs but lost the receipt. Oh well, my mess up. So the very next week the check engine light came on and the trouble code P0420 "Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold and also P0430 code, ECU detects below threshold performance from the catalytic converter. So I checked the converters just fir anything visual and they look fairly new so I cleared the codes to see if they came back on. The following week, Check engine light cam back on. This time PO306, engine control module detected a misfire on cylinder number 6 of the engine. So I went and replaced the spark plugs thing that it was probably due anyway no biggie. Cleared the light again. During this same week, week 3 of owning, I find the sunroof is leaking A LOT! Figured that out after a couple of days with buckets in the seats and floor. Well even after changing the plugs, which seemed to help at first, I still have a prominent skip under load. Has not set off the check engine light but probably in due time. So finally saying Ive had about enough with all the little things I've had to deal with this truck, I decided to cut my loses and get rid of it. Went to trade it in and the New dealer informs me that I did not have a clean Car Fax and that the truck had been wrecked twice with moderate damage. With that being said, its no where near what payoff would be and I'm stuck having to eat it! Shorter version of this story. A disaster and a half, from start to finish, in service. I had a scheduled appointment, for two issues. They completely ignored the notes on one of the issues. I noted that I needed a shuttle, and they left me sitting in their waiting room for two hours before this happened. Then, they apparently called the wrong number to tell me my car was finished before getting in touch with me late in the evening. And then didn't have the ability to send a shuttle back out once they realized this error. And then informed me that they didn't even fix the primary issue I brought the car in for. A completely wasted day, and my car is still not fixed. Never again. read more

My experience with Wade Ford was on the used car lot of the dealership. I scheduled a time because I'm not from the area. Looking for a specific truck they had on the lot. Salesman was courteous, sales manager David was pleasant. I had a few concerns about the truck brakes, tires, a small dent in the right rear fender. starting price was $39k (that's a lot of money for a vehicle with issues). we had a verbal agreement at $35k out the door. I choose to shop around a little. this was the first truck I had looked at. Several days later I was contacted by email about coming back in to finish the deal. I expressed my concerns about the items we spoke about. none had been completed. I asked if the items were corrected would we be at the same price. The salesman didn't think so. I was contacted by phone by a different gentleman about earning my business, which is a pretty standard lingo. We had a conversation which lead to the $35k and he asked who told me I could purchase the vehicle at that price. He said he would get back to me after he found out what was going on. I noticed on Carsgurus the price of the vehicle had resin to $45k. That's 6k higher than it was the following week. I also learned that the frontal damage had been removed from the Carsgurus site as well. I asked him about that, he said it had front damage. I educated him its not showing on the web page now. I'm ok with not agreeing on price, but I feel like they are trying to hide the fact this specific vehicle had damage in the past. BUYER BEWARE, GET A CARFAX EVEN IF THE DEALER OR CAR SEARCHES DONT SHOW DAMAGE REPORTED. read more

If I could give Service Department 0 stars I would. I took my car in for scheduled maintenance and asked for them to look at the engine, it was idling rough. WF said that they would need to keep the car 2 days. The 2 days turned into 3 weeks (I am in a rental this entire time). They say it is because they are backed up and parts are coming from all over the country. I get my car back on late Friday night. The car is starting slow and the tire light was on. I take the care to a Tires Plus, they inform me I need a new battery, belt and 3 tires. I can't believe it. I am not sure what they did with my car for 3 weeks. read more

I traded my 2013 Challenger RT, in March of this year, big mistake btw, for a used Mustang. 3 weeks later, it had to be taken in due to the fuel pump going out. I picked it up from service, got two miles down the road and the car ran hot. They had to come pick the car up and take it back to service. Then, the transmission started slipping. I took the car back, and got a "certified " , 2014 Escape. I thought, "it's certified, I shouldn't have anymore problems"! I was wrong. First off, tried to get the tag, the emissions wasn't performed on the car before it was sold. Then one month later, the whole rear differential has to be replaced. And again, they ran my car hot. I finally took my Escape to John Bleakley Ford. They put my rear end in , and fixed all of the recalls that Wade Ford disregarded. Today, five months after purchasing it, it is back in the shop. Do yourself a favor, don't waste your time on Wade Fords "certified crap"! Go to another Ford dealership where the technicians actually check the cars before slapping a $20k sell price on it! read more

I recently purchased a new car from this dealership. The car was not worth the price that I was quoted. The finance department was unscrupulous. They stated that they applied for Ford credit and it was denied due to my credit bureaus being locked. I informed the finance company at this dealership that my credit was locked due to identity theft. I asked them to allow me to unlock my credit, but they continued to shop my credit unbeknownst to me. I took delivery of the car on June 12, 2020 with the intentions of refinancing my car. I have excellent credit therefore I did see the issue that I am dealing with. About two weeks after I took possession of the car, I received a disturbing letter from a lender that stated that the car was not worth what it was being financed for. I immediately contacted the dealership with my concerns. I was assured that this must be a mistake. I took them at their word at that time, and told them that I would refinance the car as soon as I got my loan account number. Needless to say, when I went to refinance the car, I was told that the car was not worth what they sold it to me for. Please keep in mind, this was a new car with the window sticker still on it. I did not pay an amount that would cause alarm once you added gap insurance and taxes and fees. I escalated my concerns to the owner of the dealership, who stands by the fact that they sold me a car that was worth what they claimed. However, this is not the case. I am writing this review as a cautionary tale so that no one else will hopefully be in this same situation. Please avoid financing through this dealership. If you buy a car from them, please use your own lender so that you can get a true idea of the value of your purchase. I am very disappointed that I was treated in this manner by this dealership. I was debating a return or exchange to buy the manual Ford Focus versus the automatic. I went to the dealership and even though he knew there was no guarantee that I would purchase the vehicle, he still gave me information and gave me advice on how to handle the situation. Thanks for your time and reply. However, I still think your technician's misdiagnosis wasted my time and it does not worth $89.95; it costs me another ~$115 to find the problem from another auto shop. In your technician's report, he did not mention front differential nor front wheel ABS AT ALL. Neither did he tell me during conversation. He mentioned REAR ABS exciter ring are broken in the report; however they have nothing to do with noise from FRONT differential. In addition, my car is AWD, which means all the four wheels have power and spin all the time. Braking is automatically applied to wheels individually, when Electronic stability control (ESC) of this car detects loss of steering control. I am not sure your comments of "the vehicle to think that a wheel is spinning so making 4WD to engage and make the noise in the front differential", since AWD is engaged ALL the time. read more

Once we closed the deal the sales manager came out and introduced him self. We was there about a hr total. Then we was on our way back home in our new car! Terrible customer service To start with I went to the used vehical side last month. I asked a sales men if he had anything like the lariet old body pre 09 for around 20k. He laughed and said good luck with that and walked off. Obviously didn't care to try to make any sale. Today I went to the new car side found a truck I liked 2016 for 35k but it showed 33 in stone Mountain. I asked if they would price match and was told yes if its the same truck. They printed both stickers and they were the same. But then when they seem the truck was the same they said they don't know if they will match and just wanted to close the deal. Now I have to drive to Stone mountain because of there I'm to busy attitude. These salesmen should not be working. After going the TrueCar route and finding out that the build that I want isn't available anywhere in the area (3:55 differential instead of the stock 3:15), my wife told me to at least go drive a Mustang V6 to see if the change in the backend made it what I was looking for. So at about 3:30 this last Saturday, my best friend (to keep me grounded) and I stopped by Wade Ford to see about a test drive. Mind you, this is the same car dealership that told me there wouldn't be much difference between a 3:15 rear differential and a 3:55, but they are the closest to my home and I knew I was going to have to order the car if it rode the way I hoped. We stepped through the door of the dealership and were greeted immediately. So far so good. The gentleman asked what he could do for us. I told him I wanted to test drive a Mustang V6 automatic. He pointed to the right hand wall of the dealership and said, "go over to the office." Simple, right? Except there are three offices on the wall over there. Two were empty. The other "office" was where the floor manager usually sits. There were two men in it, both on their cell phones. We went over, uncertain of what to do next, so we checked out the Shelby Mustang in the waiting area and kept looking to see if there was someone who could help us. After 15 minutes, we gave up and left. I'm not sure why we couldn't get anyone to talk to us. But that, coupled with the comment about the differential kinda makes me feel that it's not worth going back. read more

I was very disappointed with the service dept there. I had an appointment and arrived promptly for a recall notice. I was told on the phone prior to my appt that the repair would take no more than 2 hours. After I had waited in the waiting room for 3 hours, I was notified by phone that they didn't have the part and it would take a couple more hours to have the part delivered. So now, instead of being an hour late to work, I missed basically the entire day of wages. The service manager at least had my car delivered. But I wasn't even offered even a free oil change or car wash. Then, I began being solicited surveys via email and when I responded with my less than stellar review, I heard crickets when the email stated if I wasn't completely happy they would take care of me. This was the closest dealership to me, I will be driving further for better service in the future. I hadn't planned on leaving a poor review but after my voice was not heard after being solicited multiple times for a good review, I though I'd share my less disappointing experience. read more

Later on, I went over the financing with Erny Richardson. It was the same professional approach and care as Creed. Creed followed up with me the following Monday. Took Ford truck in for repair of engine problem - making noise, lacking power, some shaking. Service department checked it out and told me there was only 1 quart of oil in the engine, which I believe (my fault), and that engine damage was a possibility but should be fine with use of heavier diesel motor oil. Recommended various services which I accepted. Did not suggest or run an oil pressure test on the engine to determine if permanent damage occurred. Told me the truck needed brake work, which I declined. Paid and drove away, truck sounding much better. One day later, problems with engine noise and shaking continued. Took to a different repair shop who did run an oil pressure test and found pressure well below spec, meaning permanent engine damage. Said brakes were fine, no work needed. Engine now being replaced. My view is that the Wade Ford service department did me no favors, and recommended at least one service - brake repair - that was unnecessary. Had I known an oil pressure test would fail, I would have declined several of the services which were recommended and provided. I will not be going back to Wade Ford. read more

I used to love going to Wade until now. I took my car yesterday 11.26 to fix a issue I was having and they quote me $1420 to replace left and right front struts. I asked to give me the detail of the amount because I thought was to high and I was told by The advisor Sean Dunlap that $1000 was for labor as they estimate 6 hours of service and the rest was the cost for the parts and tax. Well I question about the 6 hours of labor and he said a bunch of stuff so I said fine. Today the 11/27 I called at 10:44am to get an update about my car and was told it was ready. My car has a camera which it showed they started the job at 8:13 and finished at 10:30 and when I got there I saw they charged me $900 for 2 hours service! Are you kidding me???? So I complained, the so called manager was a little rude and I decide to call customer relations and the headquarters to open a case as to me and some people I spoke with Wade ford overcharged me for a service. If nothing gets resolved by next week I will escalate this. I think they were dishonest and I felt robbed by a bunch of people that charged me for an amount of hours of service which they didn't use all of it, and this is not over until I get part of my money back read more

I write this review from the inside of a 2013 Ford Escape Titanium on the lot of Wade Ford. We are in the market for a jew vehicle, the only time we have to look for cars is after work & weekends. We try to maximize our time by hitting up places right after work. Pulled up, we were greeted by a gentleman who my husband talked with. I strolled by to check out inventory. We asked to check out the features of the model we liked. Salesman asked husband to come in to give him info. Hubs did not feel that it was necessary, we are both sick of our emails & voicemail being filled with folks just checking to see if we had questions. We just needed to see the features to check out functionality. As we wait on him to come out, we notice that he opened the rear liftgate of one of the cars. Since it is cold out, we hop in to wait on him to come with the key. We quickly run out of what to look at, everything in the car is elect4ically powered. We waited...and waited... and... You get the point, he played us. I started writing this, then got out so we could go. He ran to the door when we were getting in our car, yelled out his work hours for tomorrow & went back in the building. What the what??? Excellent customer service, guys. Surely we'll be back! I recently visited this facility a month ago. I've got a 2010 Ford Taurus and it was serviced at this location. When I arrived, the customer service wasn't so well. I just felt out of place when I was here. Also, I allowed this to work on my vehicle and Wade Ford told me they will be in contact with me with my repairs. In the end, they fixed my car the next day where I had to give them a call and continually checked on my vehicle. Once I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the Customer Service Representative had a really bad attitude. I'm saying to myself, "You are about to take $2,000 bucks on my money acting like this?" He quoted me a price, but at the end it was adjusted to accommodate what I was quoted for. I wouldn't recommend this dealership for any needs. Honestly, I should be a manager at this facility and show them how to handle the customer. Maybe the men staff are bias because they treated the women much better. Total rip-off joint. They quoted me $700 to replace the harmonic balancer on my truck. Shop just down the road adjusted it for free. The part didn't need replacing. Wade Ford was just trying to milk me for big bucks. They even charged me $35 to confirm what I told them was wrong when I brought it in. They are low-lifes. read more

Wade Ford has some serious customer service issues. They are either incompetent or crooked. I took my car to them for a bad O2 sensor because that's the code it was throwing. They tried to tell me I needed a new intake for a cool $1200. Needless to say I took my car to Cooper Lake Auto instead and they replaced the sensor for $80 parts and labor. The sales people are great when buying a car (of course) but God help you if you need any future repairs done. They are the worst!!! BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! read more

So DON'T ever and I repeat do not ever buy a car or take your car to get serviced there they will rip you off and not fix your car. I recently went to them to get alot of work done on my crown Victoria so I paid them this big Chuck of money on time and return they did not fully fix the problem then once I brought the situation to light they played me and said they did there job which they didn't fix my car fully and blamed it on me. Jerald was my service agent he is a bad HORRIBLE worker!!! He lied and didn't tell the people the right stuff then the managers JB and JASON are just as HORRIBLE!!!! They did not even give the customer service that there company of 88 years preached they give so basically they took all my hard earned money didn't fix the broke they just put a band-aid on it and sent me on my way. Ive mad complaints to the corporate store and to ford in general and they said they can't help me with any thing and that is truly unacceptable in every way. Worst experience with a ford dealership so far. I have a 2014 Ford Fiesta, that has a recall on the programming of the transmission. I called ahead of time to make an appointment for Saturday morning at 8, right when they open. I arrived 10 minutes early, and got in a line of cars to get into the service center. I sat in my car for 15 minutes waiting to be helped first of all. Next I find out that my appointment was never written down... They said they would get me in though. I was told on the phone this appointment would only take an hour, so thinking I would be done by 9 I had an appointment scheduled for 10, thinking an hour would give me more than enough time. Come to find out that they would not finish till 9:30. I was still ok with this. 9:30 came and went.... Waited another 10 minutes just to talk to someone. By 9:40 I was informed basically nothing had been done on my car (which I know this procedure takes 20 minutes to do)... So basically I sat at this dealership for 2 hours, just for them to reschedule it for Monday. Now I have to leave a half hour early for work on Monday because they couldn't fit in a recall! I would not recommend anyone come here to get service! Especially on a Saturday. Once this is done I will never use their dealership again. read more
