Sat for 30 minutes after they took my order before the order was called in because the cook could not take more than one order at a time I guess. Then he was so slow and forgetful did not cook my bacon. I had all the other food ate before he started cooking the bacon. I told them to forget about cooking it because I was eating or paying for it he never said a word he fixed it anyways and then they threw it in the trash. If you say no onions more than once they should get the order right the second time right well guess what the young guy running the grill didn't get it this happen at 4:15@m he was in to much of a hurry to go sit in a booth than to make sure our order was right and we could've dealt without his attitude. I been in fast food since I was 15 .... they should've kept the waffle house on North Grove they always got our orders right and took care of us without the bad attitude. This 4 is for convenience and their hashbrowns cooked multiple ways...and their pecan waffles...and being open 24 hours If you have never been, you will find a very mixed clientele and nothing fancy. Being in SC, you will also smell plenty of people smoking. read more

Worst waffle house I've ever been to. My order was wrong twice. (double hashbrown and gravy biscuit) we had to return my friend's waffle twice. (first time is was all batter, second time almost black). There was a crack in my cup that caused my soda to leak all over the table. Called from home over 20 times and no one would answer. I just wanted a call in order. It was after 11 pm. I decided to go by the restaurant only to find it not busy and the workers chatting amongst themselves. I called from the parking lot and saw laughter and no one answered the phone. Before winter break on our lazy day, my roommate, my partner and I wanted to eat some breakfast. We all hated to eat at Waffle House or Huddle House due of lack of cleaning and crowd in there but we gave us no choice to eat there, we don't want to drive 10-15 miles from our house.. Stay away! I've been to this Waffle House 3 times and every time has been a DISASTER! This time takes the cake. We waited 13 minutes to even have our order taken, and then 30 to get our food. This was my first visit to a Waffle House establishmen! I was made very happy. The waffle makers were so kind to me and I got my food so fast, While waiting I had so much coffee and orangge juice but the happy lady kept bringing me more and no more money. My waffle was so delishiocs and soft, and the syrups were so fresh. its nice to not have to make my own butters to enjoy a good breakfast in the USA! This restauraant is clean and happy. While I like Waffle House, usually ...I avoid this one like the plague. My order has never been correct, the wait staff is rude (I know, it's only Waffle House - but even by their standards, THIS location is BAD), the food is not very good, and the place is nasty. Last time there (which will be the "last time there") - before we sat down, the table had dishes and food crumbs so we waited for the waitress to clean them off. She picked up the dishes and wiped the table with a soaked cloth, leaving the table wet and with wet food pieces all over it. We asked for a dry cloth and was told she would get to it when she had time. When she came to take our order, my wife asked for a minute to decide. She rolled her eyes and walked off. It's a Waffle House. Had to go to one while visiting the South from California. Dirty counter, mediocre service, decent food. That's it.

There're was no place to sit except at the end of the counter which was filthy. We had to ask the waitress to wipe the counter top. The waitress brought the one plate to the table and told us the biscuit on there went with another order that we hadn't received and expected us to remove the biscuit, if you can call it a biscuit, to the other plate. When she bought the other plate it hag grits instead of the hash browns that were order. She basically just said the cooks were not listening and left it at that. We asked for honey for the biscuit and it was mostly corn syrup, not honey. The only decent things were the coffee and pecan waffle. Then the waitress asked if anything was left off the order when we started to leave. The floor in the cooking area was filthy and covered with food. Can't believe the Health Department hasn't closed this place. Haven't been in years and never plan to go back. I was so embarrassed because we had a friend join us there for breakfast. read more

I live near this WH so it is usually the one we normally eat at unfortunately it is also near the top of the worst WH I have ever ate. I have ate WH for years and realize it's not a 5 * restaurant however I normally enjoy it but I've learned my lesson with this one. We ordered 2 all stars one hash browns with cheese and both bacon very very crispy. The hash browns had a slice of COLD cheese that was most likely put on after the Browns were on the plate. When the server(if that's what you wanna call her)came back to bring the other plate I informed her the cheese wasn't melted. She took the plate and when she returned Slammed the plate on the table as if she was annoyed that we didn't want COLD cheese! I was shocked and said nothing right away so when she brought the bacon that was fatty and not close to being done I spoke up and said you don't have to be so rude and throw our plate. She walked away with our bacon and never said f you I'm sorry nothing. She sent a young boy to come wait on us(poor fellow)who didn't know what was going on. At this point I asked for the manager and for me to do that it has got to be horrible. The boy returned and said THE MANAGER DOES NOT HAVE TIME TO SPEAK TO YOU!!!! I asked for the home office number and when the boy returned he said the manager will speak with you now. When she arrived I asked if she was sure she had time to deal with a customer and of course she replied yes. After being on hold for 8 minutes to place a to go order, I pull in about 2 minutes later and only had to wait about 2 minutes for a waffle and hash browns.
