Stopped here AFTER a LONG day of car shopping that ended after 9:30 at night. There is literally nothing open late anymore here due to the Corona virus Restrictions in place at this times that forces restaurants to close early. We were greeted immediately (with a smile) andsat right down and were quickly taken care of as there was only 1 other person in the house. Great food cooked to order and great service tonight. The food was amazing if you ate it quickly because .... It was SO cold in there that we couldn't enjoy the dine in experience. The excuse for the AC being on high in the dead of winter was that they wanted to keep the cooks cooled off. That's unacceptable! When multiple customers are complaining about how cold it is, The Waffle House staff should have taken that into consideration. I just came from this location. I planned to grab a quick lunch with a friend. I get here 10 minutes earlier than we planned and am told that I can sit anywhere by 1 of the servers, who was apparently getting off her shift. The table I picked still needed to be cleared and wiped down but most of the tables need to be. It was somewhat busy but not too busy for 11:50AM. So, I sit there waiting for someone to come over and clean the table and ask if I am waiting for someone or want to place an order. It NEVER happened. The cook whose name was Jason came by and asked if I enjoyed my food and I said I had not eaten yet to which he smiled and chuckled. It was not a minute later that 2 new customers came in and he IMMEDIATELY came to wait on them. These people were brought their food by him within 5-minutes and Jason said he had to take care of his regs. The server also came and brought their drinks. She was already taking the orders of 2 other tables for people who had come in after me. The person I was waiting for showed up and we sat there for 15 minutes. He then said to me well his lunch time was running out. So we left having NEVER been acknowledged or served. The cook said to us as we were leaving have a good afternoon. THIS WAS THE WORST experience I have had in a LONG time. I WILL NEVER go back to this location and maybe never to Waffle House again. read more

If I could give this no stars this would be perfect. We walked in and sat down. Took awhile to even be acknowledged . When De'anna. comes up and ask if we were ready to order. No smile, no sorry for your wait...nothing. So, I'm pretty sure she was having a bad day. Probably a very busy morning. Food comes out and we are eating and my husband is waiting for half his food. She was at the other end of the restaurant chatting on the phone. So I'm watching here to get her attention. She finally gets off the phone and sees me looking at her. "CAN I HELP YOU MA'AM?? " I said "yes, he needs the rest of his food". The look on her face was ALL attitude!!! I'M GETTING IT RIGHT NOW". Then she started running her mouth at the grill. She sent the manager over rather than getting our food. I explained exactly what happened. He was VERY nice but we were to wave him over if we needed anything. So she copped a total attitude and then just said screw them. I ate very little of my food. I was absolutely furious that anyone would treat a customer that way. Just totally shocked. I could not enjoy my meal because I was so furious. I had to go outside and wait in the truck. For such a horrendous experience they knocked a whopping 10% off the bill. That chick had an attitude way before we walked in. Her conduct should have had her taken off the floor. I have been in food service and management for 30+ years and that waitress was the absolute WORST server I have ever seen. But, I'll give her one thing. She's a damn lucky chick. Lucky I went out to the truck. Corporate will hear about her. Ridiculous!!! A horrible ending to a beautiful wedding weekend. And here's a tip: if you hate life, don't go into the customer service industry. You want a prison guard job with all that attitude. read more

My Navy son drove 12 hours to come home for a short leave today. He was tired and hungry and even though he was 20 minutes from the house he decided he wanted to eat at the Waffle House. We were immediately greeted by all of the ladies working. Each of them thanked my son for his service. They were attentive but gave us space and time to catch up. The food was DELICIOUS!!!! At the end our bill was barely over $10.00. I asked if the bill was correct and they told me yes AND they give our Military 10% off their bill. I was really blown away! Even the other patrons came and thanked my son for his service. It was hard not to cry through our midnight meeting! Thank you Waffle House for showing so much kindness to my Navy son!!! I have been in this waffle house several times over the last few months and I have the same experience, every single time. This place is absolutely filthy dirty. I walk in, and not only do they not greet me, but each one seems to ignore me worse than the other. The employees do not seem happy. Nobody rushes to clean a table. I have waited so long for someone to quickly remove plates and wipe down a small table top that I've actually left. In years past, I have been here, and people seemed way more happy. I don't know what's going on with these employees but it might be a good idea to drug test them. It's upsetting, because we live so close to this one, but will begin going to either the one in Pickerington or the one on Hamilton Road. read more

Food was good yesterday morning 4/1/19 it was a Monday and they were busy but were also short staffed only 2 waitresses for the whole store, we had the 2 eggs breakfast and eggs weren't cooked all the way had to have them make more eggs was also supposed to come with bacon which we never got (waitress NATASHA "Tasha" stayed she thought he didn't want bacon) and Texas bacon cheesesteak Melt meal add mushrooms and jalapeños on sandwich bread for melt was a bit burned and my hash browns were supposed to have mushrooms and jalapeños in them and double the cheese got plate and had no jalapeños on or in either they cooked some jalapeños and I put on/in them myself..ultimately the wait for our food (LONG) and then having hardly any staff...we stayed ate our food and Tasha gave us a discount on our ticket for all the inconveniences. The food was what you could expect at a Waffle House. It was fine dining but hey, we were in the mood to try this Waffle House since it was right down the road. I have been eating here for years. I always get the combo with eggs and waffle and get an extra waffle on side! I don't know what it is about their waffles that are so awesome. I tried making some at home and it doesn't come close. Servers are pretty good and like the atmosphere. I used to go to the one up the road on Brice but its got kinda trashy.
