    a plate of breakfast food

Don't go to Waffle House with high expectations lol. But I must say my experience was not bad. Went here while visiting Charlotte for the weekend. Everything I had was tasty and service was fast. The person that took our order was friendly. Small space but we got a seat right when we walked in. Seemed like a lot of people were picking up food to go but also eating in. It's only right to go to a waffle house while in the area.

My daughter had a layover in Charlotte so I picked up from the airport and she said mom let's do Waffle House breakfast. She got her 2×2 and I got my All-Star special as usual. Our waitress was very detail, oriented, patient and sweet.! Our breakfast was hot & delicious in under 15 minutes. I would've given them five stars but the cook Antoine? was agitated every time he received an order. He was audible & visual fussy. But the food was good!

After many years I stopped by this Waffle House, as all other options were closed at 1am! Surprisingly it was not bad! Menu has changed but I do like how calories are listed on the menu. Clearly healthy options do not exist, but I felt it was informative!!! Restrooms were surprisingly clean!!!!

They close the store & got raggedy signs on the wall to have your money ready and charge you a 20% fee for take out!! Like you have a choice!!!! This is the ghettoooooost shit I have ever seen!! Then somebody in the back fanning & talking about you are holding up her register because the math wasn't mathing... Do better Waffle House if my flight wasn't delayed & if I had a car I would have left!!!

Slow, slow, slow. Despite the fact that there was more crew than customers, it was slow to get our order placed and slow to get our food. About the only thing that wasn't painfully slow was paying the check at the register. Some of the crew was sitting at the side counter while the cook was slammed with orders. He was trying but you could easily see that he was struggling with the load. He did get orders correct (or at least no one was complaining) but things were being delivered out of order or one person got their food while their dining partner was still waiting. The restaurant was clean, our condiments tray was full enough and the food was the usual WH delicious. But I had a higher expectation for speed here since my last visit.

Says 24hrs, but he got here at 10pm and it's window order only at that time. Was expecting to sit down after a long flight. Food wasn't too bad.

I am on a mission to try as many Waffle Houses as possible. This one is one of there good ones. It was very busy so we stood in the revolving queue at the door. The lovely lady leading the line took good care to make sure everyone got seated in order. She even came out with cpooins for the jukebox and let everyone choose songs they wanted. Finally seated our server was a hoot. She was enjoying people and her co-workers. the staff here, as in most WH's, work incredibly well together. I like to sit where I can see the full kitchen and they do not disappoint. My breakfast was hot, crispy, tasty and served within 10 minutes. I left feeling better and knowing we would do this one again sometime.

This Waffle House is the closest to my how so it's the main one I visit. It's does a pretty good. Job. I never have to wait too long and the staff is friendly. I always get the same thing and it always come out perfect! Last time I went was so good I finally had to write a review! We went late one night and it had a couple tables in there with most people getting to-go food. I like that they had police in front because we know how late night eating spots in this area could be, so thanks for keeping us safe! I switched up and tried their new philly cheese-stake bowl. Hash browns covered with steak and cheese, yum! I added jalapeños to it because I like an extra kick and y'all it was GREAT! All our food came out hot and no long wait for a waffle( we tend to order a meal that comes with waffles and numerous times it had came out much later). To make it even better before our food came out a group came in and sat at the counter. I guess the staff found out it was one of their birthdays and started singing a church version of Happy Birthday! IT WAS EVERYTHING! the ladies in there was killing it at 1:30am! The entire staff sang for her for like 4 minutes and our food still came out fast! You can't beat service like that! Please keep up the good work.

I don't know how any Waffle House can be less than 5 stars. You are in and out of there in 30 minutes and stuffed with a cheap delicious breakfast. The wait is always quick. The staff is usually friendly. Sometimes it's doesn't appear the cleanest.. I mean with napkins on the floor.. but that's kind of just a typical diner vibe. Waffle House continues to be favorite place to stop in the south!

amazing service shakira is my #1 favorite worker she gave amazing service and served us super quick i would 100% recommend the food is delicious and they are very friendly and positive! they make amazing small talk! i went with my family ( 7 people ) and we all got great service and super nice and quick!! its loud but in a funny and fun way!!

There is something about those hashbrowns.... Boy oh Boy! For fear of sounding like Sam-I-Am, I will not discuss how I CAN eat these hashbrowns. This is the food I eat even though I know its not the best for me but I know they will make it EXACTLY how I want it. We have all heard the jokes about Waffle House staff but I can say these folks at this particular location are good people. I imagine that they see alot of traffic from the crowds travelling to/from the airport and I've never encountered any attitude, just smiles and fast service.

I know I made it look very pretty in my photos, but don't be fooled. Here is the complete review. We found the green tomatoes bland and appeared to have been frozen before being prepared. The "Gravy Train" with the mini biscuit was inedible. The gravy itself was OK. Nothing special, not one of the three were "great." But the mini biscuits were terrible, hard, dense chunks of dough. I ate one of them and discarded the rest. The "Chicken Ditch the Waffle" was equally terrible. Whatever they did to turn the biscuit into "fake" French toast is a 100% fail. They were as dense and unappealing as the mini biscuits. The chicken itself was fine. If I was only rating the chicken I'd probably give it a 3.5. The best dish was actually the "GOAT." It was served with a Standard biscuit which we thought was still too dense and dry. I recommend finding an independent restaurant that serves real, "from scratch" food. I should point out that the service crew in the dining room who delivered the food as well as provided cleanup and assistance, were exceptional. They were friendly, courteous, and focused on customer service. I'm sure they deserve more than they are being paid. It was obvious many of them were spanish-speaking immigrants. Not everyone in the restaurant treated them with the respect and gratitude they deserve. Here's the detail of our order from their menu. They even have a "Dietary Preference" menu (look for it online), with keto, gluten-free, and vegetarian options. Some servers aren't aware of this menu, but they will see it in their Toast device if they look for it. We have landed on a couple of favorite dishes that are repeats for us. I like the Spanish Omelet keto-style. Instead of a biscuit and grits, you get a half of an avocado (sliced) and a roasted tomato. The omelet is always full of flavor, and I love it. My husband's favorite is their White Chocolate Bread Pudding Pancakes, with bacon ($2 extra). Don't let the name deter you--these pancakes aren't too thick. They are slightly chewy, and the white chocolate whiskey sauce is amazing. He rarely uses the syrup! Ruby's coffee is always good and strong, and their service is great, no matter who you get. The service is always fast and friendly, and of course, the food is good! I started with the fried green tomatoes, and they were easily the highlight of the meal. They were fried so well and topped with bacon, tomato, lettuce, and a tasty remoulade. I'm still thinking about them honestly! For my entrée, I ordered the 3 Little Pigs Omelet. Unfortunately, it was a bit underwhelming. It was smaller than I expected and didn't really resemble an omelet. It was a little messy and slightly runny for my taste. On the side, I added a single pancake and a bowl of grits, both of which were delicious though. I had a good experience and will definitely be back. I just wish the omelet had been prepared a little better.

There are enough combinations that you could come back several times and order something different each visit. I ordered the Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle. It comes with crispy fried chicken, a red velvet waffle, cream cheese drizzle, syrup, and cinnamon butter. The chicken was crispy and juicy, although a few bites were a little salty. Not every bite, and the syrup balanced it out nicely. The cinnamon butter was a nice touch.
