    Pecan Waffle and Drink

Went to brunch here with my friend, they were able to seat us in the last available booth very quickly! They had very prompt service, with our food being out about 5 minutes after we had ordered it! Waffle House has always been one of my favorites, I think it's an underrated restaurant. I actually love being able to watch them cook the food in front of you, kind of an American Hibachi? lol, all jokes aside the ambience of an old school diner, is something I enjoy as well. The food was very good & hot! We were able to get in and out quickly, thanks to the fast service. The bill was surprisingly low as well! Only $23 for both of us to have brunch, including our drinks. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable yet hearty meal, make sure to tip your wait staff to show your appreciation as well

I think this was only my second Waffle House Experience and it was great! We got seated in a booth after a short 5 minute wait. Coffee was in front of me a minute after that. The service was great! The team was cohesive and worked well together. The waffle was good, it was thinner than I'm used to. The bacon stole the show. It was AMAZING! Flavorful and cooked beautifully! Great service, great food!

It was my first time with the opportunity to go to too Waffle House. I know my family thinks I'm nuts, but it was spectacular!!! Lol. I got the hash with cheese and onions, the waffle was amaze balls, and how can you hate sausage?! The staff was wonderful, the place was so cute and busy! I wish I had more time to go a second time but convincing my peeps to go seemed like an ordeal. I guess I'm just weirdo for the classics that we don't get on the west coast. Until we meet again Waffle House lol.

Review Visit: December 30th, 2012 I've been here multiple times and never had the waffles. Yet. My first real visit to a Waffle House was during my trip to Florida in 2012. It was at the tail end of a great night... and with it being Spring Break, it was quite a hopping place with party people everywhere. It was such a good time that I didn't get photos while there. So a bunch of us ended up visiting one later that year on a trip to St. Louis. This visit was at the end of a long day exploring around St. Louis. We were hungry, slightly tired and ready for a break from driving and sightseeing. If I remember right, I had been the only to try a Waffle House, so my friends were in for a treat. We stopped around 10pm and it was slow. Staff was quick to seat us and get our drinks. While everyone deliberated on what to order, I went for what I had in Panama City Beach. The TEXAS BACON LOVERS BLT! So we all ordered food and waited. If you have ever been to a Waffle House, you'll know the food comes out quick and the prices are cheap, cheap, cheap! This visit was no exception. They also shout orders at the chefs, which enhances the experience. The Texas BLT was just as good as I hazily remembered. Ying loved the bacon so much (can't blame her) that she ordered a bunch to go. Everyone else enjoyed their meal, too. Since this visit, I have been back to another Waffle House and it was just as good. People I've talked to either love or hate Waffle House, so you may not share the same praise I have for the place. But it is my favorite fast food diner chain.

For literal YEARS I have been anti Waffle House. I've had it in many states + it just never hit for me like it seems to for others. Maybe it's because most people I know grew up with it + it's a cultural staple... but its always been, MEH for me lol Well, here I am stating that this trip to St Louis may have changed my mind about that. My brother wanted to visit since we don't have WH in California + I didn't want to be the reason he couldn't go, so I sucked it up + we pulled up (once turned into twice). First visit I ordered the All-star breakfast with a regular waffle, bacon, over medium eggs, smothered + covered hash browns + a biscuit and let me tell you something... that biscuit + bacon SHMACKED! Lol I seriously don't know what they did, but that was some of the best bacon ive ever had. The flavor was hittin + the biscuit was perfectly fluffy while still crispy on the outside. The waffle was good too, thats one thing I always gave WH... I mean, as it should be LOL I wish they'd put more cheese on the hash browns, but those were crispy, just as I like them. Overall, I can't say I wasn't satisfied. The second time we went was late night + we ordered to go. I got the cheesesteak melt + maaaaannnnnnn! Throw a little mayo + ketchup on there + you're DEFINITELY going to enjoy it! If nothing else, I highly recommend that sandwich!!! The service was good on both visits + the food came out pretty quickly each time. Hats off to STL because before, I was talking mad trash about WH lol Now I might actually be a fan...

We don't have a Waffe House in our state so whenever we see one on our travels, we make an effort. You always know what the food will taste like. We had the pecan waffle and although you can't see the pecans trust me they are there! Had my fav, hash browns smothered and covered! This was a newer place so everything was clean. They had plastic between the Botha and stools not in use. Our waitress was friendly. Food came out in a quick minute and coffee was great. For the price you can't beat it.

wouldn't be a road trip South without a Waffle house stop. The food is classic no matter where you go it will be the same Good it does change with seasons but always excellent. Behind the counter it runs like a fine oiled machine

They have both an inside and outside dining area, the inside being small and cozy, a little bit of an old school diner atmosphere. I grabbed a seat inside and was promptly greeted with a smile and given a menu by the friendly waitress. They had several options that sounded enticing. I inquired about the bacon they used on their BLT but the waitress wasn't sure except that it was a standard thin cut bacon and she thought it was tasty. Preferring thick cut bacon, I finally decided to go with the reuben sandwich with a side of crinkle potato chips. The sandwich was served to me impressively fast, less than 10 minutes and, to my surprise, the waitress offered me a sample strip of their bacon. It was surprisingly good so I may have to go with a BLT next time. Anyway, the reuben was the star of my lunch, served traditionally on perfectly grilled marbled rye bread. The sandwich was delicious, not a large amount of corned beef but enough to be well balanced with the other components of the sandwich. The corned beef itself was sliced sandwich thin, a bit chewy but otherwise delicious. I really enjoyed the sandwich. The potato chips were standard fare but tasted fresh. The highlights of the visit were the friendly staff, fast service, fairly reasonable prices and the free sample of bacon was icing on the cake. I'll return soon with my wife who is sure to order their BLT. I'll probably give their Philly cheese or french dip a try.

I will say this is an old school diner with everything to match. Luckily the prices matched up with the old school decor. The buffet is set out on the patio and there were plenty of options. Then there was biscuits and gravy, Mac n cheese mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken nuggets, chicken tenders, pasta, meatballs, brats and some packaged little dessert cakes and muffins. It was a great value for $14.95 and if you have a big family it is an affordable way to eat out and feed the whole family. Just looking at the menu you'll think "ok, typical greasy spoon type place ". But they are much better than that and do take pride in what would appear to basic diner fare. I went with the buffalo chicken wrap and opted for onion rings instead of fries. The wrap itself was full of crispy crunchy chicken, with the right balance of lettuce tomato cheese. And the buffalo sauce brought just the right amount of heat. I couldn't put the thing down. But the star of the show was the onion rings. These are probably the best I've had and it'll probably be years before I have better. Perfect light and crispy, the right crunch, and the tender onion makes a clean break with every bite! You know what I'm talking about--when the rest of the onion wants to slide out of the rest of the ring? Atmosphere is charming and fits what you'd expect for this kind of establishment.
