We visited the store around 11:50 PM today. This was one of the worst service experiences I've had at a Waffle House. After being seated, we watched the server take orders from customers who came in after us. When she finally took our order, we ordered an orange juice that was never brought out. We had to repeatedly ask for items that should have come automatically with the meal. When our food arrived, no silverware was provided. After we asked for silverware, she brought us plastic to-go utensils instead of regular silverware. She also forgot our drinks and only brought them after we reminded her, again serving them in to-go cups while we were dining in. To make matters worse, our to-go order was incorrect and was missing a hash brown. The most concerning issue happened when we paid. Our bill was $33.90, and we handed the server $40 cash. However, the receipt showed only $35 cash received. She returned $1.50 in change while the other $5 bill remained on the register. We had to ask for the rest of our change before she finally gave it back. Whether it was a mistake or not, it was very uncomfortable and should never happen. Throughout our visit, the server was also rude to the cook, who was actually friendly and professional. Because of the poor service from the server, we chose to give our tip directly to the cook instead. Unfortunately, I did not catch the server's name, but she had bright red hair, which should help management identify who was working that shift. The food was fine, but the service was unacceptable. I hope management addresses these issues so future customers don't have the same experience. read more

The strawberry shortcake waffle was a little too sweet for my liking, but you can't go wrong with All-Star specials! This place has nice and friendly workers, delicious freshly made food, and nice pretty well-kept location. These workers deserve better pay! read more

I heard lots of great things about Waffle House but I would say it's not worth the hype I wouldn't say it's this location in particular, but their menu in general is pretty underwhelming. The service however was amazing, our server was really sweet and attentive. read more

It's a Georgia thing... Patty Melt double plate scatter, covered, smothered... I usually hit a W.H. once a week. The key to their success??? Consistency... All are the same, more or less. Yes I've eaten at some BAD ones but, for the most part they're all the same. Breakfast is always the same 2 eggs cheese grits toast, might have the same for lunch too. Dinner is Patty Melt plate. These places are KNOWN for 3am after bar must go to. Where else can you get hash browns a million different ways??? read more

I had never tried Waffle House until now. It is after all a grease pit. I steer clear of all the gimmicky dishes. They are fast and I LOVE that. I tried them for the first time on my way in to work and didn't have much time. They had me in and out in less than 20 min, that's exemplary. I stick to the basics, two eggs, hash browns, toast and ham. They do the basics very well. Their hasbrowns are well done. Service is always pleasant and quick. Highly recommend, although not regularly if you want to live a long healthy life lol read more

They expected up to wait 15 minutes for a place to sit (while several tables sat empty and not cleaned up from their previous diners). There are a lot of places worth waiting for, Waffle House is not and never will never be one of them. read more

Oh my god, the most uncomfortable experience of my life, and I came in for a PICKUP ORDER. There was no one in the restaurant except two workers. The first greets me by saying something about my mask, he mumbled so heavily I couldn't even understand the question after asking three times. The second worker comes out of the back, I had talked to her on the phone. She was so intoxicated. Not alcohol or weed either. She couldn't stand still to save her life. This Waffle House is the worst Waffle House I've ever encountered. The service is non-existent. When you can't even get a server to clean a table and seat your party because it is another server's... and not even care you're walking out of the joint? And this is at least the 3rd chance we've given this place to redeem themselves. The food is decent (for what it is) but the attitudes and service is the worst in the industry. We visited Waffle House on Dacula Rd in Dacula on Christmas Day 12/25/2023. Our food was delicious and the server, Alieaster, did a great job. The juke box music was too loud so I sent a complaint directly to Waffle House website online. I was so impressed they called back and told me the jukebox had been turned down and hoped we would return. We went back 1/1/2024. The food was delicious & our server, Janet did a great job and yes, the juke box was turned down to the appropriate volume. I played all my favorite country music songs by George Strait!!! We had a lovely time. I want you to know they have increased the staff and they are all so friendly and ready to serve you. The place was spotless. I am so impressed how things have turned around for the best at this Waffle House location. We had stop going for a while to this location and we were so pleased when a friend told us we could go back now. They had hired all new staff...it's true. Great food & great service & the music volume just right on the jukebox. read more

Went to go get some breakfast for dinner around 10pm and when I walked up to the door it was locked and I looked in the window to the man who was just staring at me and I asked are you closed? Cause i checked online before i wasted gas to go there And he just continued staring at me and then a lady came out and yelled were closed at me and so I went back to my car and double checked online it said open 24 hours i sat for a while watching them turn away customers and they continued to make themselves food and sit down and eat the lady working was frantic and yelling and throwing her hands everywhere I don't know what happened that night but I went to a different one near by won't be going to this one anymore that's for sure read more

I've read a few reviews on this waffle house and I was shocked. Then again, the reviews I read was from nearly 2 years up to a year ago. I didn't encounter any of which that was spoken of today. I didn't have any food problems and the timing of my food was highly acceptable. read more

I'm really sad to say our waffle house has come downhill. There have been many changes, and while I'm sure they are well intentioned, they unfortunately were detrimental. The actual number of employees has gone down, leaving the store bare at times. The cleanliness of the store is gone, and it's evident by the bugs that you'll see. The kitchen is good but depends on who is there, and since they appear to have downsized, it's not likely you'll get a good one. Finally, it really seems that management doesn't know how to fix the issue. It's a shame. I really hope they can turn it around but right now, we're calling a timeout to see what happens. read more

While I grew up eating at WH after concerts, party's, games, etc... I realize after many years of not eating here why I frequented WH so often. It's cheap and lacks class just like its customers. On my last and final visit to WH, I had to remind a fellow patron who was sitting at the adjoining booth that I had a 3 yr old child with me and that his ears had not yet heard many of the colorful words this customer was using, loudly I might add. The staff didn't seem to mind this persons language either. Which substantiates my "lack of class" claim earlier in this review. The food, while going up in price and quality plateauing, is not bad if you like grease. We had chocolate chip waffles and oj. Two items you couldn't possibly mess up. I'll never go again. read more

If I could give zero stars to the Waffle House at Dacula Rd and Liam Ave, I would! It was so cold we shivered throughout our meal. Our server told us the thermostat was locked up in the back office and they were not allowed to adjust it. The music from the jukebox was so loud we could not carry on a normal conversation and even the server had to keep asking us to repeat ourselves. I absolutely love Waffle House...but the service at this particular WH is consistently the worst service that I've ever had at any restaurant in any state. I'm writing this review from the restaurant across the parking lot ("Friends"...which is really good, by the way!) after walking out of this WH. The reason my group walked out is because we waited for 20 minutes and no one even bothered to come over to take our drink order. While we were leaving a man, who had been waiting for 45 minutes for his order, was at the cash register asking for his waffles to go. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! read more

I just had the worst experience, which is speaking a lot for Waffle House. I went there tonight with my family after a night of bowling, and the woman cooking around midnight had an attitude from the start. She then told us that the bacon we ordered was sh*t, but proceeded to serve it to us. Before we left she made a comment to my mother about how we needed to be less "loud", even though we were being very respectful and left a large tip. When I got home, the bacon she had commented on that I ordered wasn't cooked at ALL, and was buried in the omelette. She also seemed to be on something as she was twitching and spouting out obscurities. I will never come here again. Go to the one in Auburn unless you want your food cooked by a fed after midnight gremlin. The fact that Wilbur was still talking to me under all of those eggs was insane. Apparently their servers dont want money because we called in an order a large order that I was willing to tip a large sum on and they just gave me the most ignorant attitude I went ahead and just said never mind and cancelled my order. Ahh the Waffle House, where Americas subculture ventures to at the end of which is a night on the toilet with the runs. If you have every been to a fine dining place where the chef prepares seafood over an open stove and puts on a show, this is nothing like that. The cook is always covered in mustard for some reason and looks like he hasn't shaved in about 3 weeks, but you can watch him cook if that's you thing. You can also listen to whatever song the local meth-head decides to play on the juke box they have in the corner. I really cant comment on cleanliness as this is the waffle house after all and springs form the booths poking you in the behind are common place here. The food, well, the food is always wet for some reason no matter what you order. The only positive thing I can say about the Waffle House is the hash browns are tasty, especially when you get some of the toppings. Not a healthy choice by any stretch, but if its in the wee hours of the morning and your coming down from your buzz and don't care what you eat, this is your place. read more

The 84B health score should have been a clue for me to leave. This Waffle House is new and very clean. I have to say the staff is also friendly. BUT. . . the service is so slow. One of my pet peeves is getting our food separately. We got one plate. 5 minutes later, the second plate. 3 of us were almost done eating before the last plate came out. Just irritating.
