From all the reviews I was scared to come. But it was nice. No bugs crawling around like I have seen at other branches. They have a B grade. And even though she was the only waitress, Stephanie was great. Everything was cooked well. And I asked for a light waffle that was perfect. I would come back. It was about 230pm when we came. This store operates in a sloppy way. By sloppy I mean slack or lacking in quality. They are always friendly, but what knocks off two stars is that they often get the order wrong. The cooks 2+the manager could not cook an over medium egg properly today. Cut it open and the whites were clear and snotty. The bacon was slightly burnt. They presented white instead of raisin toast. This was at a moderately busy time. Not packed, just a normal lunch. I was not asked why I didn't eat the eggs. Maybe it was obvious or maybe the don't care. I think a little of both. This is my go-to Waffle House after a long shift from work. I always come with co-workers at night!! Ron is an awesome guy and a great cook. We came in today and he remembered all of our orders and what we drink, how crazy is that?! I love how he interacts with us. He truly is awesome! The food has been excellent every visit so far, and the customer service is great, aside from one incident with a disgruntled employee, who was being very rude to our server (who was working very hard) for no reason. Tried to call just now was busy for 45 minutes then finally someone picks up and puts the phone down and never said hello can I help you or anything ... I could hear everything going on in the background, so these ratchet people just decided they didn't want to take over the phone orders and took the phone off the hook . I don't expect great service from Waffle House especially at the hours of 2-4am on the weekend but Jesus Christ, everyone besides jeopardy should be fired. I've never seen the most rude employees at any of the waffle houses I've been to. Not only did they dismiss me and disrespected another customer in front of everyone, they took a ridiculously long time serving any non-black customers that were seated. I waited an hour for 2 waffles and bacon. I was asked after 25-30 minutes waiting for the food did I order. My server was flustered, not sure why there was only like 8-10 in whole resteraunt including the three employees. She apologized a million times and kept having other orders behind my order get there food in a timely matter. I was so shocked, I didn't know how to react. It took a additional 30 minutes, just realize to start my 2 waffles. She kept apologizing again which was getting annoying; because I just wanted to pay and leave. It took a additional 10 minutes to cash me out, while other customers where getting service coming in. I guess since I didn't rage or act ignorant I got forgotten. I been here before, but this will be my absolute last time. Do not go there between 11:05-12:17, that how long the process took with 7 customers, 3 already eating 4 in and out takeout. Where do I start??? Oh ok with the specifics. The black chicks that work in there need to find a new "profession". No I'm not being racist considering I'm a black female myself but these chicks have no professional training. I mean every time my boyfriend and I go in there these chicks have the worst attitudes. I asked one of the girls "Tyra" or "Tamra" or something that starts with a T for a to go box...she said yea, rolled her eyes, and walked her ass off. Then she walks past me like 3 times and didn't bring the box. I'm quite certain she didn't forget nor was she busy because the restaurant wasn't packed at all! It was mid morning around 9:30 or 10. Service was excellent for this visit. The food... typical. I ordered a blueberry waffle, two eggs sunny side up and a cup of coffee. The cost $9.32, here's the breakdown, $3.20 for the waffle, $3.70 for two eggs, $1.94 a coffee. My problem is paying $3.70 for two eggs. Especially when I think I can buy a dozen jumbo eggs at Walmart for $.94 and that's retail. For my total bill of $9.32 I could've gone to a buffet; just saying. I've been a customer for many years but now it's time for me to MoveOn. Another thing I don't understand is that one point Waffle House dropped using blueberries in there waffles and then end up with just I think three choices. Won't return. Although staff is friendly, I received a cold waffle with the bacon 3 minutes later. My son ordered hash browns covered in cheese. It came without the cheese. Upon returning it, the order came back with a slice of cheese on top. Let me add, it was not busy. read more
