    a plate of breakfast food
    Dee D.

This was a solid breakfast. We waited about 10-15 minutes for a table. The manager took our name and shortly afterwards a server cleaned a table for us. There was a steady stream of customers coming in and out. I tried the Grand Slam breakfast. The eggs were fresh, bacon freshly cooked (not salty tasting), the grits are homemade (not instant from a package), the waffle was good! (I like the batter), skip the coffee, and I had a biscuit instead or toast. The server was friendly, fast, and efficient. Only drawback if the look. The floors and some of the equipments looked grimy including the menus. They may be open 24 or long hours and should find time to clean things at some point in each day. It was like a "blue plate" diner special experience.

This is crazy .this server try to trick me like I am stupid .sayings service charge is to go fee when I see clearly charge to go fee separately charge.why u including service charge for to go food what if I don't want to add tip in to go order and I paid 2$ extra .like I feel this is scam which is not right .

Yall save yourself a stomach ache and don't come here. It's cheap yes but like food cheap

    Waffles!

The food was amazing! We went on my birthday and they treated me very well, I got some pie and the entire restaurant sang happy birthday to me at 11:50 at night. The ambiance was okay but there was a table next to me that just wouldn't stop farting! It was so loud and they wouldn't stop laughing and farting...

The four is for the customer service my waiter was pretty good. My table wasn't clean when I can I but he cleaned it .. the service was very fast . Food was good I couldn't eat it all due to the very hefty portions. Parking lot has plenary of spaces. Covid measures in place . No sanitizer available kind of a bummer.

Large hash browns scattered, smothered, peppered, country with country ham

First time I have ever been to a Waffle House and I have to admit I am now a fan. Was spending a nice Sunday afternoon driving back roads through Maryland when I decided to refuel my belly at Waffle House. Had a large order of hash browns scattered, smothered, peppered and country with a side order of country ham. Only issue with the food is I wish the hash browns had been seasoned, had to add salt and pepper. Country ham was nicely grilled and quite tasty. Service was fast, friendly and the restaurant was clean. Next time i may try a waffle, but then again, I will probably go for more hash browns.

Metal hook in our waffle today...

The Chicken pot pie fritters were so good, lovedddddd these! It didn't need the sauce though but it was still a pleasant addition to the fritter. The reuben was absolutely deliciously perfect and the fries that came alongside were fresh and absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with the Mac and cheese either. Very good! It wasn't the best Reuben I ever had, but it wasn't bad either. The fries could've probably been a little crispier. My wife got the crabcake, but there seem to be too much sauce on the sandwich so she had to just eat it with a fork. Taste wise it was OK. Again not the best one we've ever had, but not bad. My son got the salmon with the vegetables, which was pretty amazing. The salmon was tender and tasty. The vegetables were cooked in oil apparently, and delicious. No complaints there. For dessert, I got the ice cream sandwich, which could actually feed two people. I really enjoyed it but couldn't finish it because it was just massive. My wife got the crustless strawberry cheesecake, which she thought was a little different, but still good. The wait staff was very good, so no complaints there. Overall, I would probably eat here again.

There's a lot of potential here, but when your wagyu burger costs more than Le Diplomate's iconic burger in DC, I'm expecting something amazing. Every ingredient was very seasoned on its own, but when combined, the burger was overwhelmingly salty. I could barely taste anything besides salt. The cocktails were also overly sweet, and I regrettably had to send them back a couple of times. That said, our waiter's service was excellent. But this place needs a lot of improvement. Way too salty, too greasy, and overpriced.

I had driven two hours and was hungry, but I was also committed to making good decisions. Or at least mostly good decisions... The hostess offered me a seat at the second-floor bar rather than the quoted 25-30 minute wait. Great! Solo diners love surprise upgrades. Unfortunately, when I got upstairs, the one "available" seat had apparently been claimed by a diaper bag and a giant straw sunhat belonging to the woman sitting next to it holding a too-little-to-walk baby sitting at the bar. Uhhh...this isn't going to work. Back downstairs I went. I gave them my name and number, found a shady spot outside, and settled in for what I assumed would be a long wait. Five minutes later, my table was ready. Thank you, Universe! My server greeted me with water immediately, explained the QR code menu situation, and told me not to order through the app because she'd be right back. No worries, friend. I'd already done my homework. I knew exactly what I wanted. One Martha Stewart's Prison Pizza ($22), please. (Sausage, broccoli, ricotta, Calabrian chili peppers, lemon oil, and sea salt.) I asked for the chili peppers on the side because I know myself. I like adventure. I don't enjoy possibly setting my mouth on fire. And a Diet Pepsi ($3.50), because balance. While I waited, I people-watched, which is one of my favorite hobbies. White Rabbit was PACKED. The patio was full. The downstairs bar was full. Upstairs was full. Couples, groups of girlfriends, older folks, younger folks, families, solo diners...everyone seemed happy to be there. The place itself is pretty small, which explains the wait. Six tables downstairs, maybe eight bar seats, more seating upstairs, and a constant dance of servers carrying food through the same front door customers use. Add the "please wait to be seated" crowd gathering in the narrow hallway and I'd describe things as organized chaos. But once I was seated, I was perfectly comfortable and out of the traffic pattern. One cool touch I noticed: outlets and USB ports built right into the front of the bar. Maybe that's common and I've somehow missed it all these years, but I thought it was pretty neat. Then my pizza arrived. Oh good lawd. OH. GOOD. LAWD. This pizza was SO GOOD! I knew from the first bite that I was in trouble. There was no sauce, which surprised me at first, but after approximately three seconds I no longer cared. The sausage was plentiful. The broccoli added texture. The ricotta was creamy and rich. And that lemon oil?! That lemon oil set it off! Everything just worked together perfectly. The Calabrian peppers arrived on the side exactly as requested. I bravely sampled a very small amount on my fork before desecrating my pizza and quickly determined that folks with stronger heat tolerance than me will absolutely love them. They were just a little too spicy for my delicate tastebuds. Thankfully, the pizza was incredible without them. And those slices? MONSTERS. I ate one and seriously contemplated a second before reminding myself that I had dessert plans elsewhere. A box was requested. Self-control was exercised. Barely. As a solo diner, I also want to give White Rabbit extra points. Multiple staff members checked on me throughout the meal. I never felt forgotten, rushed, or weird sitting by myself. Everyone was warm, kind, and made me feel completely comfortable. I really appreciated that. My total bill came to $32.44 including tip which felt really reasonable given the amount of pizza I consumed and brought home. Worth every penny. I'm already scheming my next two-hour drive back. Maybe a smashburger. Maybe those Brussels sprouts everyone keeps raving about. Maybe another pizza. Maybe all of it! I highly recommend checking out White Rabbit. Make it a destination, not just a stop while you're in the area. Don't let the size of the place or the wait scare you off. It's totally worth it. PRO TIP: If you park in the Church Street Parking Garage, look for the staircase labeled "STAIR 3." White Rabbit is literally right outside the door at the bottom. No hide-and-seek required!

All of their pizzas look really unique. Table next to us got the one with a lot of pepperoni on it and it looked very good too. I reccomend parking at the Church Street Garage to access the restaurant as it's sort of hard to find parking. Interior was quaint and conservative and our waitress was amazing and very sweet.

During our trip in July 2026, we walked in and was immediately greeted by the hostess, Rylan. She seemed a little flustered about not having a supply of fresh silverware for give to us, and we had to wait for them to bring her more. She was apologetic for the wait and seemed genuinely embarrassed, but we assured her that it was ok and it wasn't her fault. Once we were seated we were greeted by our waiter, Jose. This guy was a rock-star! Customer service was top-notch, and he was extremely friendly. I ordered a plate of Loaded Cheese Fries to share with my son, as we weren't very hungry. When the food was brought to our table it was hot and delicious, but the fries cooled down fast and became stale-feeling. But, to be fair, I suppose that's what happens when you load refrigerated dairy producted on top of hot fries! The men's bathroom was very clean and well kept, and the booth seats were very soft and comfortable. Other than the fries cooling down way too quickly, I have zero complaints and would recommend this location to my friends and family!
